being an orthodox myself, I can't really comment on Israel and Palestine situation. Everybody has their own culture, which is more important than the Law, and what other people think. where I live, it's way more peaceful, because our culture/religion doesn't demand for such high sacrifices.
on the other hand, what if everybody involved would try to settle, forget the past and move on? wars demand effort, money, time, sacrifice. do we really need that?
@Roackarul I agree, its time for people to come togeather to work towars unified needs, at the basics. All this waste funds into these things could feed millions of children and famlies, even stimulate poor economies for jobs. When will we learn we are stronger togeather.
ya Allah, wow i just cried through that whole video. too young to die. its true where the anger originates. those kids parents defo need self control, cos they would be some angry people, out for revengeif their only kid has just died.
It's so terrible isn't it? The atrocities committed against both sides. Propaganda is an amazing tool. How easy it is to paint something in the light of which you wish to portray it. But, when you investigate all aspects, you learn the truth. The truth is both are guilty of crimes. Both are guilty and it is the innocents on both sides who suffer for it. I can only suggest reading Romans 12:9-21and pray to God that maybe one day they'll figure it all out and find a honest and fair peace.
@NoWattz it is terrible, and both sides are guilty of crimes. but who started it? who broke the cease fire? who commit war crimes? who is occupying who's land? who has state of the art munitions, supplied by the US? all of which is Israel, their was peace in palestine with all faiths christian jews and muslims alike. but this all changed, becoz of the illegal occupation. the truth is the truth. And you cant blame the people for wanting to retaliate, thy have been robbed of their land.
Yes, I know, I have heard all of this before. And what good does it do to pass blame? How has blaming the jews for everything worked out? What progress has been made? What we see there today has been going on since the beginning of time and it has never changed. Honestly, I doubt that it will ever change. Retaliation begets retaliation and the conflict perpetuates and nothing is solved. A lesson we should have learned by now? 2012 years and we still haven't? That's pretty sad.
There's a saying... "Do unto others as you would have them do unto you." You know, something this simple could solve all of this mess. If only people would just put it into practice.
Treat others how you wish to be treated? Or, Palestine, in a gesture for peace could say, "here, have this land that doesn't belong to you." Or, Israel could return the land? Or, both could learn to share it equally in a new Palesrael or Isralestine? :) Or, they can both continue to kill each other till the land is drenched in the blood of the guilty as well as the innocent? Even though it's not your book, please read Romans 12:9-21. I think the answer is there too.
I really love the video. Show them who is the reall terrorist. and you right is really fucking hard to just look at this and not do something about it.
A very well crafted video.
