I put the Phat Master blades on my Andis Masters to have a longer cut while wolfin in the winter. They work great. Then I got another set of masters on ebay and put my original blade on them. Two sets of masters for about $120 the first set was brand new while the ebay set was hardly used.
I use the improved master and the wahl 5 star senior.. andis clippers require more maintenance and get hot faster.. but the andis master has the taper levels notched on the side so u can see the level.. that's a big help.. most clippers don't have that.. they're both good.
@boombapswag92... well the regular andis master is able to use guards without eating away at them.. being that the fade made is shaped differently, if u put a regular guard on a fade master blade, it will make a loud clanking noise which will chip away at the guards, making them easier to break. The andis fade master wasn't designed for guards and neither was the andis phat master. the fade master was made for low fading!!! That's it.. I will go with the improved master clipped with guards.

the only diff is the blade and the fact that one says fade master and one just says master.. other than that they are the exact same housing and motor and cord....IMO the fade blade is sorry!!!!! there is no use for it...just save your money and stick to the regular master clipper...best clipper ever made... peace OUT...
@EDDTHEBARBER88 Actually the blade is the only difference. The housing is exactly the same. I have 3 pair of Masters. All equally the same. The only difference is 1 has fade blade, 1 has master (000) blade and 1 has the Phat master blade. This set up covers everything.
he actually mixed them up by accident.. the andis master comes with the blade with white plastic with 22 teeth. the fade master has 28 teeth and its in black. It is just a simple mistake but thats how it is.. and the difference between those clippers and the phat masters is that.. the phat master starts with a blade that is a 1. the andis master closed is a 000 and the fade master is a 00000

That's pretty good man that you let people know that basically they are the same clippers just different blades just like the T liners and the Outliner 2's. Same clipper different blade. So basically all you have to do is buy the cheaper clipper and just buy the blade. At least you tell the truth about it in your vids cause some dudes tell them that the blades won't fit and to buy a whole new set of clippers from their site so they can make cash. 0.o. @Stephthatackle Why would I lie? The blades I bought are from Andis, and they only fit the Master blade. Maybe you bought another pair, I got mine off of Amazon
great vid man. I recently bought the masters and love them. I looked online b/c I was wondering the same thing so thanks for the info. BTW I bought the masters online new, is it common for the adjustment lever on the side to be hard to moe up and down or does it eventually loosen?
Im new at this so this might be a bad question, but I have some Andis clippers,they arent that heavy duty(im a cosmetologist)but the clippers come with some gaurds and one is a fade gaurd. So will this only fade like between a 0 and 1 or can it blend like a 3 and 4 together? Also, it comes with I think 1, 3, 5, and maybe a 7 or something, so when I flip the switch on the side of the clippers, is that giving me the even numbers(2, 4, 6)or is giving me like a 1.5, 3.5, 5.5. Hope that made sense.
good vid-- i really like the andis master----no one really talks about the oster classic--do you think the master can replace the classic for all around cutting??

i prefer the master it gives me a better fade , i usually use ma oster on ma taper i got the fine blade on ma oster so it gives me a better tapers.
