Apologies for my ignorance was the Buzz Feiten tuning system an inbuilt system chromatic tuning system? Also noticed on the Washburn website the new WD10s no longer have a pick guard.
@soniklecfor4 The WD10s is the newer version. I believe they eliminated the Buzz Feiten tuning system, which helps keep the guitar intonated. Other than that, they are probably the same guitar. As long as it has a solid top, you should be good to go.
Thanks for the video. the Washburn D10S has been updated (redesigned) in late 2010 to the WD10S. I think it looks even better than the D10S, and based on the Acoustic Guitar magazine review of it (look on youtube for it) sounds great for the price.
Thanks for the review. I own lots of electric guitars but need to buy an inexpensive, yet good sounding acoustic, and reviews like yours help. Cheers from Vancouer.
You haven't been active with new posts for a while. hope all is OK.

Purchased one of these for my son .Overall ok except the action is way too high for a begginers guitar

Love your teaching style. You articulate the job at hand very well. Plus you have a very good singing voice.
Keep up the great work. Keep posting. Can you play greensleeaves?

I think the black one is the Washburn WD10S not the Natural one. Not much difference to the sound of both.

@soniklecfor4
Yes
The D10S had the buzz feiten tuning system plus pickguard. Many believe the D10s is the better of the two.

@soniklecfor4
WD10S has no pickguard and no Buzz Feiten tuning system. It is a watered down version of the D10s

ty your video sold me for this guitar
getting in now =D
i was looking for a great acoustic guitar that could pluck and strum and well
and i was struck with inner conflict on whether or not to get nylon or string cause i heard steel guitars have terrible plucking
but after you plucked i was sure this was the guitar for me =D
thank you so much, and your a great player and reviewer
btw if ur wondering this will be my first own guitar but i have been using my friends' old guitars

Very nice guitar for the price, but resonates like hell. :/

@shadowoflightvideo what do you mean "resonates like hell" ?
darkhood66 9 months ago
@darkhood66
Resonating @ 987.77 Hz (B4)
By resonating I mean a overwhelming tone which I can clearly make out while mixing my recordings.
Very annoying.
shadowoflightvideo 9 months ago
@shadowoflightvideo you make the recordings only from the pickup ?
