this many not be applicable since i have the "glitter" palette from ebay which is like the one thats like the shimmer palette, but with more glitter...but honestly, the reviews saying it's not good quality are crazy. it's not dior, but certainly better than mac. i was at mac today and the shadows have so little pigment and terrible texture after being used to my chinese ebay palette. that's really sad, huh?

@razorbladekissss I understand where you're coming from with this. A lot of the satin-finish colors from mac are really soft and useable, like woodwinked and satin taupe. But the lustres and mattes are often pretty crappy. I can't even use half the mattes I bought 'cuz the color pay-off frustrates me.

However... there's a lot of stink about makeup imported from china because they don't have the same regulations for ingredients that could be really colorful and soft but also potentially toxic.

@Squatchylicious most of our products are made in china anyway. it's funny how literally knowing it's made in china is scary (it was to me), but if had some sort of fancy label stamped on it, it's like it's okay.

I love Coastal Scents! It's the only makeup I've ever bought online and I love it! I got the 88 Shimmer pallette. I use the little brushes by the mirror and nothing has broken. :)

@ShesThe1yup coastal scents blues (in the warm pallette at least) are HORRIBLE PIGMENTATION! The greens in that are good with a primer and the reds aRE pinky, but super pretty. hope that helps.

yea I dropped my other 88 pallette once (coastal scents) quite a few fell out and I had to try to figure out which one belonged where, (because I hate them just being anywhere lol) but I wasn't much of a pallette wearer when i was younger so I think it's definately one that attracts me to wearing makeup because I like the quality of my shadows, (mine are the 88 shimmer and the 88 matt ) :)

I bought the regular 88 pallete and I love it! I just can't keep the brushes clipped to the top it came with and two of my shadows have fallen out. I put them back in, but when I open the pallete sometimes, they are all the way on the other side. Help?!

I don't know where I got this idea from ... but in my opinion it's best to use matte finish eyeshadow in the summer... where I live the thermometer goes up to 42-45°C (I don't use °F sorry) and so I get all sweaty and shiny on my face so the last thing I want from my make up is shimmer or a metal finish. I know you mentioned that you consider to use metal finish in the fall...

Yor bangs need to be darker, and you need to blend them with your hair a little bit. You can tell they're fake. I didn't like the metallic shadow palette, the shimering palette is way better.
