Tom Dwan mainly plays NLHE. He's good at other formats of Poker, but not like Ivey is. NLHE is Dwan's only competiting platform. To say Tom Dwan is gonna be much better than Ivey is a load of bull. Ivey beats Dwan overall and and it's not even close.

However, since then Dwan has given back around $2.85 million of his total winnings to Ivey to drop into second place just below Ivey, on $3,753,591.

@arnaldo717 Nah, I'll take Ivey's mastery over all forms of Poker over Dwan's mere talent in Holdem. I'm not saying Dwan is a bad player, but he is certainly is below Ivey's level. (Ivey is also in profit against Dwan overall, just so you know.)

As for Dwan's bluff (HSP Season 6), the amazing thing about it wasn't the bluff... unless you think it's somehow skillful to push Ivey off a pair of 6's on scary board, lol. The amazing thing here was Ivey's instinct to -genuinly- make a call.

Antonio Esfandiari plays as much pots he can against Phil, cause he knows he has an edge, Mike Matusow always mocks him for getting worse and worse, Phil Ivey doesn't say a word, yet knows he's better. On a large field, he's good at extracting money out of opponents, but against follow pro's he can't pull off to many of his tricks so he's just gonna play extremely tight and try to outflop them.

@UndercoverLdn Do note that he plays the other games as well. I don't think he plays them too much, his 11 bracelets are from No Limit/ Pot Limit / Limit, all Hold'em. Phil Ivey has no Hold'em bracelets, but has won in all kinds of forms of Omaha/Stud/Deuce to Seven draw and all kind of mixed games, yet he has proven he's one of the best by making his deep run in the Main Event '09 and by crushing the competition in cashgames for several years. Hellmuth makes watching poker entertaining though.
