Memories! Remember the days of "CHECK IN NOW" so you could find out who was lagging? LOL I used to press enter enter before game started so host would think I was checking in because I had little ram.

Also, you could crash games by filling your username with gibberish as as quick as possible. This one clan would ban anyone on msn zone back in the day if you even got 1 kill. Every time i got a kill I was kicked, so I crashed their server until they made their channel private. Good times :).

Wow i really miss this game, strafe fragging, strafe shots, all the little tips and tricks required to be competitive at the height of this games popularity. The first online multiplayer game that really got me hooked, played from mplayer onward. Really great memories

this is sweetleaf. i played as rain in the early days. This game has a part of my life. great game ruined by hackers to a large degree though and corruption among admins/ladder administration.

No north-american player would ever stand a chance against a korean player. just sayin!

Nostalgia'd so hard. Used to play this on mplayer constantly. The day mplayer died was truely a sad day. If anyone used to play a lot of the modded maps I made a few that got pretty popular and were listed on the planet rainbow6 site. Black Box and one I made for one of the ladders "Halloween Bash" event which was a hacienda mod. Good Times

Wow - this is so nostalgic! I remember getting my game on with my old P2 400 MHZ Dell desktop - i played this game almost every night until 4am during my summer break. Does anyone else remember how sick the maps were in this game!!!?.... I think there was a level called "road" that was really fun - not to mention "mint" and "airport"!.
