For the First card You are correct with the higher power/source, take that as the masculine influence as well as the sun "God", it is possible that you may receive some quality information from a man in your life whether it be family member or good friend. For your second card I would perceive it as joining a group of some sort having to deal with something that you have passion in...such as writing.
