Give all politicians a teachers salary. This will eliminate those who are in politics for the perks and will keep those who are in politics for the right reason. Running for political office should be looked as a volunteering public service, not as a career. Volunteering and getting paid little will attract people who truly care as opposed to a career politician who only cares about how he or she can move up.

Scrapping the second homes allowance is a good idea, all MPs should stay in a government owned block of flats. Stronger Punishments for any MP that breaks their oath of allegiance to the Queen or cheats on their expenses claims.
Ive had a look at the consultation results, and agree with some of the things there. I certainly oppose the foolish idea of giving 16 year olds the vote or letting them stand as MPs. we need to make it so u have to be 40 or over to become an MP, to get life experience

@TheBritishWatcher I don't think age really matter. There are young people who are incredibly wise and brilliant beyond their age. Let's give young people a chance to become an MP if they show exceptionally progress and work in their communities. We are all human, a 40 year old can screw up just as easily as a 16 year old.

lol well i certainly disagree with that woman who said we need Proportional Representation. My god that would be a disaster for British democracy, do we really want the BNP elected to the house of commons like they have been to the EU parliament which uses PR?
One thing id like is our political figures to stop going on about climate change, and try to save our country not the world.
As for the Greens, what is their relationship with the Scottish Greens party who are disgusting separatists
