When my mum played the album that this is featured on ( Secret World Live 1993 I think?). I was very young so just went along with it. For the past 3 years, this has been my ultimate favourite song. Alot of my friends don't see what the fuss is about. But if I listened to more of " f*** this, f*** that, I'm an emo, no one understands me, haters everywhere, noooo" crud, then I think I would feel the same way as my friends. I've always loved this song and the album "So" it was originally on, but this live version is spectacular. What a voice! Only problem I have with it here is that the level on Papa Wemba's mic was too low and you can't hear him except in his brief solo, and even then not too well. Anyway, Peter Gabriel is a brilliant musician as we all knew long ago, and has done untold good for the advancement of world peace through the musical interconnection of world cultures.
