omg, after i created this shortcut and open it!! it actually freakin works! omg you guys have to believe it!before you select this shortcut open task manager by holding Ctrl+Alt and while clicking on Delete! go to performance! exit all windows except task manager.... afterwards click on that shortcut we've created, you'll notice that the RAM usage under the CPU usage box is now decreased!!! omfg IT ACTUALLY WORKS!

Nice job, this really works! For all you n00bs postingstupid comments: This is not giving you more ram physically, It clears all unused things in RAM, making more free ram available. You can test this by running task manager before and after using this thing. You will notice the ammount of free memory. Don't expect the author to explain every litle detail about this tweak. And stop joking about the authors voice, it's not funny you idiots!

lol when I first clicked on that shortcut I created, I thought it was a joke, since my ram usage went from 830mb to 1030mb, but then after 30 sec or so I went to 800mb. Well well, not much, but,, I found this tip when I first searched for "xp free memory" here on youtube, and like he said he uses this shortcut many times. And I (jkm99412) recommend using it after you've opened and closed a lot of application, cos it didn't work that well for me thus I just bootet my pc. Sorry for my english :Z

Same here... I think it uses some of the memory on the RAM card for formatting or something, like when you get a memory card EG: 2GB it says you have 1936mb or something like that...
