  • @MsVcharles Love the video this is helpful, but you didn't mention how you did the cartoonish(reminds me of bewitched)introduction. There is a youtuber by the name of soapy love and she has the same cute orange looking intro where she list ingredients needed for her soaps...is this some kind of video editing program? • MsVcharles, I enjoyed your video it was very informative. Thank you. I too have had a relaxer since I was about 10 and do my own hair and have for years. My hair is down my back almost to my bra about 12+ inches long. I am seriously contemplating transitioning because I know that my hair is not as healthy as it could be. Especially since i moved to the desert. Do you or anyone else know of products that could help me do it?

  • I just subbeD. Where have you been my whole natural hair life(two years) ??? lol. Nice styles

  • first i must say you are just too cute. :) i have been without perms and chemicals in my hair for years and I feel stuck because i do the same thing with my hair. Thanks for your tips. When you do the twist , do you do those after washing? and what do you put in when you twist?

  • @cocogoddess1027 SO sorry for the EXTREMELY late response. Yes I twist my hair right after washing and I just used my leave in conditioner and sealed with castor oil. =D

  • MI NEXT HAIRSTYLE TO TRY:) LOL ALL SMILES

  • ABSOLUTELY lovely!

  • Very cute style

  • Cute! Gotta try style #2 4 really!

  • does your head wrap ever slip off? i want to try this but I'm terrified that the head wrap will slip off while i'm in public.

  • @TheSoulfulSista Sorry for the super late response. But no it doesnt slip off....sometimes it takes a few tries to get it on though (depending on what scarf Im using). I use hair pins to keep it in place.

  • Youre too cute, loved the video!

  • @BUTTERB4LL Im sooooo sorry it took this long to get back to you....I remember reading this comment but I thought I also answered it as well. I really couldnt pin point my hair because I have like 3 different texters. All I know is Im natural and loving it. =D

  • my fro is not as big but I'm most certainly rocking the 2nd style today at wrk at 3 1/2 months natural (2 months transitioning) and I'm loving it lol! I was tired of the wash n go or as I like to call it, the cookie bush! I have to go back to watch your old videos for styles now though because your almost at a year right?

  • @shaytuck05 Thats right sis! One year this week (Jan 1)..woo hoo cant wait! lol.

    Congrats on your puff! =D

  • You are so cute an I love you hair!

  • Love it V. Where did you find the headbands?

  • @kiwi73703 Hey sis! I get them from the Dollar Tree. =D

  • purtee gurl

  • You are too cute! Love the do!!

  • i CANT WAIT TO DO A POMPADOUR THIS IS SO CUTE!

  • love it love it!

  • 23, 040 views!!

  • beautiful

  • Hey lady. You have awesome videos. I love them.. I have a TWA right now but I cnt wait till it looks like yours. I love the styles oh and great tip about the eyebrows cuz I dnt really wear makeup. Check out my vid if u want and lemme kno wut u think. Thx

  • Love both of those styles! Nice video!!! Thanks for the ideas.

  • How long had you been natural in this video? I want to try this style (2nd one) when I get to 15 months in my transition because that's when I plan to chop. I don't think I have the facial structure for it though so I might experiment on a weekend when I can just take it down and do a twist out if I am not happy. It's GORGEOUS on you though. I'm scared the pick might encourage breakage though, what do you think? *sidenote* 10 months in my transition, 5 more months to go! w00t!

  • @imcrazy534 I was on my 7th month in this vid

  • @MsVcharles Thanks . Also gracias for the friend request!

  • super cute!!!

  • Omg those styles are too cute! Ima try the second style, but I have to know what is the name brand of the headbands(the pink ones)? Those are too cute and I def have to have those! Thanks dear!

  • @MizzDivineGenius I bought the head bands in the beginning of the year at the Dollar Tree and I am so sorry but I dont remember the name.

  • @MsVcharles Oh okay, thats my mission for tommorow then lol! thanks!

  • u are a blessing to me!!!!!! I just did my big chop two days before thanksgiving and I hated it! I was afaid to step out side! Now I have a new look on how i feel about my hair thanks so much!!!!

  • Love Love Love it! You make it look so easy!

  • God bless you! I've been natural all my life, & have just been pressing/flat ironing my hair, and now Im a freshman in college & i dont have the time/patience to do it, so i've been wearing it natural. I hate not styling it, & i love different things every day so i LOVE your channel! and you have such a beautiful spirit =D

im DEF recommending to all my natural sistas out there :)

  • @Chantias Hey sis! Thank you so much for the kind comment. One of my cousins has been natural all her life as well but she also flat irons ALL the time. I try to encourage her to enjoy her beautiful natural hair but @16 yrs old she is more into "fitting in". She will get there one day. I just continue to be a silent example to her...and trust me, I see her looking...lol! God bless you as well and I will pray for you and your studies.

  • I just have to say that you are beautiful...and not just on surface!

    Great videos!

  • @tmasala Thank you so much! =D

  • Even though I love this I gotta say that I am so jealous. Why come I didn't know how to style my hair like that when it was shorter? I really wish I was half as creative as a lot of yall cause personally I think that some people just got it and the other people don't. We don't know what to do wit it and hope that when it's long enough we will be able to style it LOL. Where could I get an elastic band like that even if it's online?

  • @Eshundee Well sis, thats why a lot of us post vids to share cool ideas, tricks and styles that we learn ourselves. ^^

I got my headbands at the Dollar Tree around June. Whenever I see cute stuff there (even if I cant use it at the time) I still get it bc once its gone, its gone. =D

  • @MsVcharles Ohh I'm going to keep an eye open there too then,

    Thanx

  • i know this is random but where did you buy the elastic bands with the bow ties they are so cute

  • @pcnb123 Not random at all. I actually got them at the Dollar Tree around June this year. Unfortunately there are no more left at the stores I go to. When I see things there that I like I always grab it, even if I dont or cant use it because cetain items are very limited.

  • @MsVcharles Oh ok thanks do you know the brand so maybe i could google it. I know what you mean the same things happens when I go there I'm like oh let me get it next time but its already gone. LoL

  • @MsVcharles can u do a vid on how to tie the scarf that u wear on ur head in other videos :)

  • @AppletopBaby Hey sis, this method is the exact same that I use for my other scarf. The only difference is the scarf itself. =D

  • @bulldogchic08 Aww thank you! =D

  • fisrtly i have to say i love your videos, they make me laugh so much. i was wondering how you keep your twists from being bent in the morning...mine seems to be all over the place like medusa....lol. i dont understand the moisturizing bit and it gets a bit frustrating im not sure if i looked but do you have a bedtime hair routine. thank you MsVcharles. :o)

  • Hey V. I've watched this video at least a half dozen times since you posted it and I just can't seem to do my head wrap correctly. It wants to slip off or pull at my hairline in the back especially. Any tips?

  • @TWEET629 Yea sis, if your scarf wont stay you can just use hair/bobby pins to keep it in place. The first time I tried to tie my scarf this way it took me at least 15 tries just to get it to stay. Hope this helps sis! =D

  • @MsVcharles Oh wow! That was a super quick response time. lol. Thanks so much for the tips. I don't feel like such a failure at headwraps now that I know it took you some practice as well. Be blessed.

  • Ok!! I just sent you a request on the last video on how to do the scarf bun! DISREGARD!! :) LOL I will continue watching! I should probably go to bed! I think I've been up for 2 hours watching your videos! :) LOOOOVE THEM!

  • You are so very beautiful and talented Ms Vcharles. I love your style and personality. What type of products, such as shampoo and conditioner, as well as deep conditioners do you use? I am thinking of purchasing some Kinky Curly products and Miss Jessie products but I am on a strict budget and want products that are good and effective for both my daughter and my hair. Love your videos,

  • @JayeJaye714 Hey sis! Well I have to say that I am on a buget as well and have found products that are just as effective, affordable, most are all natural (everything except for my gel) and do the same thing as those. I shampoo w/Chagrin Valley shampoo bars (find them online for $2-$7), condition & deep condition with Aubrey Organics GPB conditioner (around $8), moisturize with Giovanni Leave-in, and style ($8) with Eco Styler (about $5).

  • @MsVcharles *budget

  • @MsVcharles Thank you so much for the information. I just finished ordering the products (shampoo bars and the conditioners. I see that you use the Aubrey Organics GPB conditioner for both condition and deep condition, so do you use the Giovanni Leave in daily or when do you use it?

  • @JayeJaye714 No prob sis. Just be careful with the Aubrey's conditioner because it is a protein based conditioner. My hair's specific protein level allows me to use a "healthy" amount of protein...lol. If your hair dries out ot hardens, ease up on the protein. I use Gionanni right after my wash on my wet hair.

  • @MsVcharles I read a lot of reviews on the Aubrey's GPB conditioner and will probably use a small amount first. I have the Huetiful Hair Steamer as well as a Hair Wrap and plan on using these two items interchangable with my conditioners, as well as hot oil treatments. Do you use the Gionanni on the same days you deep condition wiht the Aubrey conditioner as a leave in or can you give me an ideal of how you interchange the two. You are awesome. Please check out my videos and comment please.

  • @JayeJaye714 Hello again sis! I must have misread your last comment, but I never use a regular conditioner as a leave in. What I mean by using my Aubrey's is that I do a DC on dry hair before I shampoo wash. And after I shampoo I apply more Aubrey's (as we know, you must condition the hair after shampooing). Once done, I completely wash out the Aubrey's and then apply my leave-in Giovanni, style, and that's all.

  • @MsVcharles Thank you for clarifying for me. I am still new to the natural hair steps and want to get a routine down for my daughter and myself. So do you wash your hair once a week? If so, do you do the DC every time or do you do it once or twice a month? I believe I saw in one of your earlier videos that you wash your hair on Fridays, can you break down your schedule or do a video with a step by step procedure of how you care for your hair? Really appreciate you and your videos.

  • cute styles...

  • your so pretty :)

  • Very nice vdieo !!! cute hair styles

    -SoNaturallyHair

  • Cute styles! An if I might ask...where did you get the hairbands with the bows?

  • @TheTheshanster I get them from the dollar tree.

  • Cute styles..if I might ask...where did you get the hairbands with the bows?

  • I Love your videos. Where can I find the scarves or wraps that you use in your first protective style? I am transitioning from relaxed to narutal. 10 months post and the road gets rough beyond belief. Lol.

  • @blessedgemini23 The scarves I used are not actually head scarves but neck scarves that can easily be found at walmart. Also you can go to an arts and crafts store and just buy the fabrics you want to make you own. :D

  • I love this video!!! It is so classy and cute. In addition, the music is refreshing. All of the styles demonstrated fit your pretty face. Thanks so much for taking the time to do this video.
