  • What is the name of the song damn it!?!?!?!?!?!?

  • Sorry guys, but I have two questions:

Which show was this taken from?

What's the name of the song?

  • Fuck those cunts in the audience... I mean ultimately what Bill was saying was fucking sad and some of those guys were laughing like retarded animals. Fuck them.

  • just became a fan last year and i feel like I miss him. Like i lost a friend i never knew. R.I.P. man you deserve to be at a better place if there is any.

  • Hicks is like George Carlin's son.

  • i beleive in billhickism

  • What song is playing here?

  • Where how and why.

That's what you should say whenever some jerk says RIP.

  • This guy should be thought in schools

  • the guy that embed the advertise on hicks recording totaly missed his point

  • @KaraTechKid You think Bill Hicks performed as a charitable act?

  • Happy Birthday, Bill. We love and miss you.

  • @Microidle They're both amazing for their different reasons.

I'd say Bill was far more intelligent, but Joe is fantastic at getting his message across and chooses to do it off stage.

  • @bringemyoung1 Rogan haulks UFC, Fear Factor, and pocket pussies. He loses all credibility

  • @houston56able Perhaps you should listen to his explanation as to why he did these things, it's actually quite inspirational. He doesn't "haulk" it as you say, he just worked as a host and he's just been into martial arts his whole life, which is not a bad thing at all.

Just for the record it's just as pathetic to be so far up Bill Hicks' arse that you can't see talent and promise elsewhere. I love Bill like no other, but I make room to appreciate others as well.

  • @Loony0Bin Certainly not up the dead dudes ass or arse or however it is... More of a george carlin fan. Oh, and also Nietzsche. Bill had hope for humanity... which i see is lame. i dont want to listen to this rogan cat explain why he haulks pocket pussies and such.

  • @Microidle ya, that may be true but don't shit on joe rogan fans either. the guy is actually really intelligent hes not bill hicks but maybe you should read the top comment. joe and bill both have valid things to say, any kind of my bill hicks can beat up your joe rogan debates are kind of retarded, as im sure both comedians if asked would agree. RIP bill

  • A true voice of reason. The only mastermind that approaches George Carlin's wit and it is fucking relieving to know that Bill was not even around this planet so much longer than 3 decades YET his legacy is TRUE TREASURE. the first time I met his thoughts i did not get most of it. then I evolved and now see through his metaphors and it's no surprise he is not well-known. these thinkers make life on earth worth living - not the fucking institutions!

  • @suizidium carlin was a cynical cunt. with his philosophy we might as well give up everything, because humans are awful and government is all one big scam, and democracy is a scam, and everything is just total bullshit. it's one thing to be satirical, but he wen way beyond that. and frankly i don't think he had the knowledge to make any informed statements. his arguments could work in some pub, never in a scientific context.

  • @topperheartramada As far as scentific context you can even come across his name in linguistics-related books with quotes on word-structuring and semantics and the pussification of society through of euphemistic distortions of notions which by the way build up the upcoming generations basic vocabulary. crime-fighter, fire-fighter freedom-fighter e.g.

the last thing even Bill would have done is to lower the inevitable genius of George - check out Bill's opinion on him on Utube

  • @suizidium That's utter nonsense. Did he write those books, or did someone just use him as an example? And how many other people do you think you cab find quoted in books? Ridiculous. Not to mention that he had strong opinions (and they are only opinions, not backed by any evidence) on pretty much everything. He was a cynical, grumpy person who saw only problems, and then exaggerated problems out of all proportion. He was basically almost like a conspiracy theorist.

  • @topperheartramada he did not buy into all the premises set by linguistically NARROWED notions. think about Orwell's 1984 and what newspeak in the thinking process at school, the media etc. - he was a comedian and if you look at the whole picture - the overall legacy of George - you WILL realize that he wasn't the least bit bitter or unplesant human being. I bet anything your opinion would change if you checked out the whole legacy of his - gotta see the whole picture truely

  • @topperheartramada isn't that the exactly same thing your doing right now? Your ranting as well, only he makes it funny and entertaining. Just because he didn't back up his opinions doesn't mean it's true. What, you want him to feed you what he believes along with other explanations?? find it out yourself, then make your assumption. I can tell you this, you won't disagree once you actually follow up on the real problems.

  • @conspiracy567 No, it is not. I am making a comment on youtube. He made a career out of a particular form of rant. How is it the same? Could you not by the same token say that anyone who makes a critical comment about someone being wrongfully critical of something is necessarily a hypocrite? I think his insights are shallow and his misanthropy ultimately ruins the whole thing.

  • @topperheartramada I love you good sir. Carlin was a convenient misanthropist. An old fool. He blindly copied Bill Hicks, but Bill was a philanthropist and he didn't really hate anybody. Bill Hicks was never afraid. If he were afraid, he would be just another nihilist like Carlin.

  • @WTAWWR08 Are you retarded? Carlin was performing before hicks was even born...

  • I'm against abortion and 100% with Hicks on this one, which is one of the (many) reasons I'm not a Republican. You can't say you love life and then FUCK OVER the poor.

  • im gonna take some mushrooms and squueze my third fuckin eye in the near future

  • @Microidle LMAO@ Joe Rogan in general..

  • joe rogan will never be like bill. no one will be

  • My mind is blown. O.O I mean I always knew abortion wasn't as terrible as some think it may be but he worded my thoughts perfectly.

  • Keep them goddamn babies off the street!!!!!

  • ROFL....."dA children!"

  • there is only this moment...

  • "Take some mushrooms and squeegie your third fucking eye."

    Some good advice.

  • @cujospawn Very good advice that works. Mushrooms have defiantly changed my life views and the T.V. metaphor is spot on.

  • bill hicks changed my life...

  • Im me it true shuts the fuck up <3 lmao

  • that's why Ron Paul needs to be looked at as a possible presidential candidate; he cares about everyone

  • @tek510 except for pregnant women, and people who want to uphold the constitutional writ of church-state separation.

  • @Schleiban ron paul dont like pregnant women where did u hear that shit?

  • Bill, what kind of philosophy is this?

    The only one that matters.

  • That's Bill, waiting for people to catch up..

  • Bill Hicks Forever!

  • didnt hicks write the music here too?

  • which album is this from?? thanks in advance

  • bill, i was about 7 years old when you passed on and only discovered your material a couple years back...but wherever you are, i fucking love you, man. i truly do...R.I.P.

  • @deliman, I totally feel you man.

Bill, you are one of the two the greatest positive influences in my life, RIP buddy. You are missed.

  • @deliman I was 7 months old :(

  • @Microidle Rogan might not be as high as Bill Hicks but he's one of the closest things to him we have these days. He speaks out against cannabis lies, government scandals, us getting fucked over etc.

  • Listening to Bill Hicks brings with it the hope that at some point soon, the veil will be removed and we'll all be ok.

  • he is very correct, there is no future... especially if you don't try to see.. if you just don't care... if you just say no man they are right

  • True Philosophy.

  • Bill, meet Buddha. Buddha, this is Bill. I think ya'll will get along.

  • @devourerofbabies Wow... This comment is the greatest comment on youtube, because it's so fucking true..

  • Listen.... You people... WE DON'T NEED ANOTHER BILL HICKS!!! Bill hicks was and is a great teacher and awakener. He makes you laught and at the same time you realize the truth and the mystery of life. It's great. But you have to stop being such a god damn followers!!! Stop being a herd. Stop needing a leader. Create your own story. BECOME THE NEW BILL HICKS BY YOURSELVES!!! Or better yet... Create something completely new!! :) thanks

  • @KvalnirFox

    exactly right !!

  • @KvalnirFox rock on

  • @KvalnirFox ya , they'res so many people everyone , go find george carlin.

  • @KvalnirFox I think Bill wouldve said just that! :)

  • @KvalnirFox We need 1000's of Bill hicks.......and 1000's of George Carlin's.....

  • @KvalnirFox TAKE SOME FUCKING MUSHROOMS AND KEEP YOUR FUCKING OPINIONS TO YOURSELF..........DO YOU KNOW WHAT THE FRASE: I HAVE ACCOMPLISH GREAT THING BECAUSE I STOOD ON THE SHOULDERS OF GIANTS......(WHAT DOES IT MEAN?).YOUR ARGUMENT DOSENT WORK FOR ME GO BACK TO WORK AND SHUT THA FUCK UP......TALK ABOUT SHEEP AND FOLLOWERS; HOW MANY GOFFY; NO BRAINS LIKE YOUR SHITY COMMENT...STOP TELLING PEOPLE WHAT TO DO........WHATS THAT BILL..? YOU SAY HE SHOULD TAKE SOME MUSHROOMS AND SQUEEGEE.

  • Bill would rule the world with internet and the youtube. Pancreatic cancer at 32? Yeah. I'm not saying he was killed but it seems convenient as he would be the most dangerous man alive today with current technology

  • Comment removed

  • my hero

  • @ThatPunjabiKid88 yep! i check itunes once a week for updates and keep it rolling. i also recommend bill burrs podcasts, its mostly sports rants but when he gets going. brace yourself!

  • @ThatPunjabiKid88 depends on him. u may get one or more, you might get none, but most likely there will be one a week.

  • @ThatPunjabiKid88 www0ustream0tv/joerogan hit up his twitter for live streams info/dates

  • 3 people think there's such thing as a future.

  • joe rogan podacst! try it guys. very insightful!!

  • There is no future, there is only now. The 3rd eye is important. Children brought into a rotten heavily influenced consumerist culture will inevitably become no good. Take mushrooms. Bill Hicks is epic to the 10th power.

  • I love the music - it takes it to a higher level of art. It's so organic and releaving in a way. Pointing out the originality, the spirit of his comedy and his relationship with the audience.

Is it from an album of his, or is it some kind of remix? And if so, what's it called?

  • @holm81 this clips is from one of his cd's(stand up) dangerous, relentless, rant in e minor or philosophy

  • @StSIZpanX Thanks man.

  • @holm81 Its how the album was made ( no mix etc ) and its called 'A rant in e-minor'

    Peace

  • @purejennajameson Yeah I just heard it the other day. Really dope. Some of the best comedy ever made.

    Thanks anyway, man.

  • It's obvious this was taken when Bill found out he had cancer & was dying.

That Bill's farewell message in a way. And also made us think about where we as a people stand in life.

  • WTF I just realized there's no such thing as future!

  • Really good what you've done here. The dialog, the music, the emotion. This is greater than any religion. In fact i now announce my faith as a 'Hicksian'. Various masses and services shall now be replaced with Shroom parties and philosophy lectures. The main focus will shift from misguided morals to free thought!

  • I miss Bill Hicks...especially in this times...the real fucking american hero...from Chile; Southamerica..peace to all!

  • a big hug for all the people who love bill hicks.

    i wanna meet you all.

  • Mushrooms are pretty great you know.

  • @Swanmaens I'm right there with you

  • what a fuckin brave man,

  • One of Carlin's last HBO shows, he pretty much replicates this very act. I knew he loved Bill Hicks, but I had no idea that he borrowed from him that heavily.

  • @Tarwater03

Get real ! George Carlin was a comedian way before Bill Hicks was ! lol Carlin didnt " borrow" shit from Hicks (it was more the other way around ) But BOTH were great men and on the same page!! There should be MORE people like those two geniuses

  • the music flows very well with the audio, this video is a great showcase of what bill is about. thank you

  • you are bill hicks when you and he allow you to be ... we are eternal ... doors open and close ... yeah bills a hero

  • Bill Hicks was The Truth....and there hasn't been any since.

  • @yehcnimoigres When you say heaven do you mean Valhalla?

  • Science and spirit can work miracles when merged together in a seemless whole...Jesus was a scientist of his age if you want to consider that beleif.., it seems to be making more sense every day and it won't be long before the whole world understands the message of God...Bill helps to light the way...and any who disagree are the true loonies.

  • @yehcnimoigres I agree that that's the case; I'm an enthusiast of science as well. However there's a lot that men question that's out of science's reach, such as Hicks' philosophy on metaphysics and such.

  • @transewookie Interesting point you make, but I think we're coming close to an understanding, or at least, we're getting closer than ever at this point in history. I watched this thing by Bruce Lipton called "The Biology of Belief", and I thought it was mind bending! It seems like the scientific community is trying to come up with some answers for us. Listening to Lipton and Deepak Chopra makes me think that Bill was a lot closer to the truth than we realize. I might be wrong... but I might not.

  • @yehcnimoigres I think I agree with Hicks in this point; I think science is a great servant, but a lousy master. People looking for salvation in science are just as deluded as people looking for salvation in religion and mysticism.

  • Man i fucking LOVE Bill Hicks! The prophet for the 20th century.

  • it's all an illusion....see ya soon bill

  • for some great bill hicks stories told by ron shock, type in "the bill hicks chronicles" here on you tube.

  • @ yehchimoigres. The quote is "WHEN IS science is going to save us???".

He probably did not want people to wait some system to save them.

BUT to seek the saviour independently and act on it.

Sorry, if i sent this one too many times.

  • this road im on, just goes on forever, i dont know when ill be back your way?

  • i'm english and in britain most people are so asleep in the system its like hell living here.. we are one or two preechers one david icke,,, but hes a "nice" guy and people dont look to people like that.. but hes turning more angry every year

  • @fcfcbarcafcfc a looney that icke is eh? haha yea david is swell, most people don't actually read into him unfortunately

  • hahaha U have no idea how much I relate to this, my dad listens to Rush and he is a baby boomer and the whole 9 yards... Bill Hicks is eternal in my eyes, because I hear his voice everyday and it makes me who I am somewhat, therefore his energy is forming me partially...

  • This reminded me a lot of some of George Carlin's stuff from the 90's... "sigh* why did they have to die...

  • I'd reccommend doug stanhope....not saying he's hicks reincarnated, but he has the same "don't give a fuck" demeanor

  • Wow, Hicks is the only comedian who actually made me think about life in a different way. Its almost not even comedy, its something so different, so beautiful in its originality, I absolutely love it. We need a new Bill Hicks

  • fenix9885

yeah we do, Where are the Bill Hicks of today ? I know where In every single one of us who GOT HIM we can all be Bill Hicks we just Need his backbone BE BRAVE BE HIM HE IS US

  • @fenix9885 you should listen to Doug Stanhope ; )

  • @fenix9885 there will never be another Bill Hicks man:'(

there was only 1 and its sad he's gone I wish I was old enough to go see him preform live but I was like 3 years old when he died I didnt even know who he was until I was 12

Bill hicks is a true Hero we need more people like him i this world

  • @fenix9885 check out joe rogan hes defo like hicks youll love him

  • @DjLoneStar

nah Rogan is good but he doesnt have the same class as Bill did!! Bill Hicks got angry for sure ! ...But Rogan gets angry over stupid things that Bill would laugh at ( Hicks saw the irony and KNEW some things werent worth getting angry over ..Hicks was a CLASS act ! ) Rogan ...at best ? just a B grade version of Hicks

  • @fenix9885 good idea... lets call him Joe Rogan xD

  • @fenix9885 Joe Rogan

  • @fenix9885 It's poetry imo

  • @fenix9885 check out, joe rogan

  • @fenix9885 New Bill Hicks will come eventually. Well actually, we have Joe Rogan! he is pretty awesome too. Check him out:

    Joe Rogan Spinning Our Wheels

Joe Rogan - You're a Fucking Human Being

Joe Rogan watches 2 girls 1 cup

  • @AndroidSydney I like Joe Rogan, but he's nowhere near the calibre of Bill Hicks. I don't think any comedian will ever reach the sheer greatness of Bill Hicks.

  • @TurquoiseCowboy Doug Stanhope is doing a good job... /tl8lXxHUSa4

  • @damonteufel Oh yeah, I LOVE Doug Stanhope. He's my favorite living comedian. I feel like he's been passed the torch since George Carlin and Bill Hicks have died.

  • @AndroidSydney Joe Rogan?? I dig Joe's humor...But do you honestly think/BELIEVE he's superior to Louis C.K., Doug Stanhope & Jim Norton?????

  • @fenix9885 I find it funny how you think its "so beautiful in its originality" then say "we need a new Bill Hicks" I dont mean to have a go in any way, but thats a bit contradicting isnt it?

  • @Argarna Rather than just comment on the beauty of this video, you find it more important to make your particular comment. I guess you missed the positive

Whats wrong with wanting the same style of originality in a new manifestation? Hicks is dead, and I'd like to see somebody else that has his style of imagination. There is nothing contradictory in expressing a desire to see more creative comedians like Hicks. Pick your battles; you sound like you are itching to make something out of nothing

  • @fenix9885 Joe Rogan man.

  • @fenix9885 ..Ever heard of Joe Rogan?

  • @fenix9885 Look up George Carlin

  • @fenix9885 Try Joe Rogan, he's great.

  • @fenix9885 there will never be a new Bill Hicks.

  • @fenix9885 check out joe rogan buddy

  • @fenix9885 GO FIND GEORGE CARLIN YOU'VE GOT TO LOVE HIM!

  • A true American hero

  • A true HERO. Where your born is irrelevant.

  • @FeelOfFriction I can agree with that

  • wooooo!

    there is only this moment.

  • Comment removed

  • Genius..

  • Oh my God...there's only this moment!

  • Take some mushrooms and squeegee your third fucking eye!!!

Fucking RIGHT. I love Bill Hicks. He speaks truths.

  • i absolutely love listening to Bill speak, great speaker, he is compared to MLK and many other great inspirators, but he is my favorite, able to speak as it should be told and not sugar coated, i miss him, and really wish he was here in these times now

  • awesome

  • Good job my friend.

  • great!
