Land Conservation must be dead in the Midwest

unfortunately it seems more housing devleopments and bigger business facilities are more important these days. its sad and dangerous at the same time because now around areas like valley junction and fleur drive, due to the development of more residential and industrial areas, there is far more runoff into the inner city streams and rivers cause substantially more flooding than it did say 10 years ago.

but i will add that responsible, land conserving farming techniques are becoming more and more apparent and used.
