He dosn't bind it wish Sora soul. The "soul" has never polayed a part in .Hack. All he did was data drain him, and fuse his personality into the data of his staff, which is an extention of him. Haseo and Skeith arn't the same person. It's arguable that Skeith is, in essence, Sora, but not Haseo. Vol 3 proves that, when Haseo and Skeith talk, and skeith acts like Sora.

Sora and Haseo have the same names in real life. Ryou Misaki. Sora gets data drained in the fourth grade, and has slight amnesia from it, so he doesn't remember The World R:1, and his parents never tell him about it, so one of his friends, 8 years later, tells Ryou about The World R:2 and signs on as Haseo.

saku and bo, Gorre, phase 7, the machinator....is it just me or does everywhere gorre appears in both games seem sorta too well related, i mean, i understand saku and bo, cause their twins, like the first Gorre... but in the origional dot hack...even the field their at...chatting snaring twins...theyre twin rocks(twins) with demonic expresstions(snaring)and they talk between themselves and to you during the battle(chatting)

well, he didn't necessarily hold back. he just didn't use data drain .. simply because he didnt need to. xD one hit of his scythe was enough to momentarily cause them to pass out, so he didn't even get a chance to do more. however, if he was able to data drain them right from the start, which you can'unless protect break is ok'ed, then they'd be comatose.

plus, he didnt really have time to do much else, as atoli yelling 'no dont!' broke his concentration and Skeith's power went away after that cause he couldnt concentrate on containing it. so he only had time for that one attack before Skeith vanished.
