This really reminds me of Shivering Isles. This theme is played the most in that world.

@Splufay Agreed. The strongest memory of this song for me is standing in front of the gates to the Shivering Isles. I had left for a minute to grab something in the next room, and when I had come back, the game had went into that mode where it starts panning around. My character was standing in front of the gates, and the blue light was washing over her as she looked up and stared into it... I had to stop and take it in. I know it's just a game but it was definitely surreal.

@MHLUNA24 I think the soundtracks from each Elder Scrolls game are unique in their own way.

For me, there is no compairing between those soundtracks, because they just aren't the same.

They each have their own way of getting you close in a game, they suck your very being in the landscape, and the story.

As long as the soundtracks do that, they all are the best.

It's funny I was watching tv and playing Fallout New Vegas(2 tvs) and thought to myself "why am I hearing this song I'm not playing Oblivion" then I realized SOMEONE is an ELDER SCROLLS FAN ON CHANNEL 11 NEWS!!!!!! This song was just used as background music on the Pix channel 11 10 O'clock news story of "real" hauntings in Long Island!

the best overworld theme in the game. on my 1st file, this music was playing as i got up to kvatch and saw the smoke, and savlian matius telling me to stay back. it fit the theme of that scene perfectly.
