No fear, in the game you dont fight against americans but against fellow chinese. Its a kind of training thing. The problem with fighting americans is that one side will loose in a multiplayer. The chinese army cant loose (state censorship)... thus: Both sides must be chinese, that way china always wins.

Operation Flash Point? etc. All these games show the Easterm Powers (Korea, China etc) as the "Evil enemy who plot to take over the World!" This is no different.
