  • best there ever was!

  • the top comment has the same likes, same words, same person, wht the fuck???

  • there was Michael Jordan. and then? there is everyone else.

  • i just saw SPACE JAM

  • Why do comments, such as "i have a boner", get so many thumbs up?! 74 people are immature degenerates. Let alone the fact that a video of MJ speaking, is rendering those people erect.

  • @Somborac420 If everyone was like you the world would be a very, very boring place... Dont take things too seriously you nark

  • @thahost People like you are the reason this world is so fucked up. Go jump off a cliff.

  • i love how the crowd is goin wild and it was an away game!!

  • NBA ON NBC RETURN WHOS WITH ME!!!!

  • Poor Pippen

  • 3:43 was the nastiest

  • 23+45=68 my favorite number

  • i don't know why he ever left!

  • @Rayzor923 i think it as because he wanted to try out baseball for his dad since (i read somewhere) that his dad wanted him to try baseball when he was young

  • This was the happiest day of my life. People need to stop comparing micheal jordan to god..I mean he's good an evrything but he's no Micheal Jordan

  • omg...the way he palms that ball...

  • Thumbs up if u agree that there needs to be another bio pic of the great one! There has been so many changes in his life since the original film!

  • Did he come back twice? I can't remember?

  • @7890628 i think so. once where he won 3 more championships. then once where he didn't win shit. lol

  • This is a dream game for many but a tuesday for a rusty Jordan

  • Jordan being blocked? Blasphemy!

  • I was at that Pacers game. I was only 9 yrs old. I remember that steal from Smits and that lay-up like it was yesterday. My favorite NBA memory of all time.

  • it absolutely amazes me that pippen said the choker with no ring is better than jordan.

  • YOU GAY ADOLFLAZYEYE

  • i feel so lucky to have watched Michael play in late 90s. Id get out of church on sunday and watch the afternoon games on NBC and be fortunate to watch the Bulls. I feel bad for you people that never had a chance to watch the Best of all time play the game and have to watch highlights for your proof.

  • @schmidt0221

I used to do the exact same thing. That was a highlight of Sun afternoons. If i was going to play bball with my boys we would make sure one of us would have our vcr ready to time record the games.Ahhh the memories :-)

  • is it just me or does mj look bigger then than wen he did b4 he left?

  • YOU SKIPPED THE NBA ON NBC THEME YOU MONSTER!!!

  • I also proved that I can't hit a curveball.

  • double dribble at 2:11 :)

    great video. greatest ever.

  • @flight909090 How is it double dribble, just cos he starts the dribble with his left hand doesn't mean it is double dribble

  • @BroomeBlocker4

if you look closely after he dribbles with his left he then touches the ball with both hands for a split second and proceeds to dribble.

  • @flight909090 Nah, it is just he switches to his right hand and the left hand comes in front of the camera as he is running, he doesn't actually touch it

  • no 45 ???

  • @ei819 get off his dick

  • Michael Jordan was like DMX and the Ruff Riders....without the drugs though.

  • almost forgot how amazing he was... unbelievable

  • Jordan also wore a number 12 because someone stole his away jersey from the locker room

  • lmfaooooo they got the friggin superman music palying in the bckground...

  • things brings back so many memories.

  • 3:37 wtf up with Steve Kerr.. He looks like a lil kid nervous n shit. lol

  • Listen to the Pacers fans cheering for Jordan. That's awesome. The only other time I remember hearing opposing fans cheer for a player that loudly was VC in NJ w/ that nasty alley-oop

  • whats up with the Forest Gump music?

  • my jordan has dunked on God lol

  • a living legend

  • lòl_aNYØñë_wânnÁ_chÂt_wïth_mE_ì_féèl_sô_lôÑElY_tÔÐåÿ~

  • the last shot had so much determination.

  • to anyone here who says Chamberlain is the greatest of all time. Just think Jordan was an average height guard who played in an era filled with hall of famers and rough play. Chamberlain however was a center who was ahead of his time and played against short white guys (with the exception for Russel and maybe a few others). Its like pitting Lebron James against a high school team. Respect yes, but respect where its due.

  • @TBfromPerth92 also his number 23 was retired with the bulls when he came back. when it came to the playoffs he asked if he could wear his old number again

  • Just a notice : At 3:16-3:18 it's a foul on him,but there was no call....

This was the era of MJ... Respect for the Greatest ever!

  • i will never, ever forget this game ( born&raised southside chi)! all eyes were on those PATENT leather sneakers, lol! i was 15 @the time & remembering EVERYONE was talking about tha shoes from that pacers game! this is what kobe( who i like ) & lebron ( like too ) can never do. create a mystique so mystifying that the very shoes one wears ppl r enamored by! best eva#23(#45)!!!!!

  • My god. NBA on NBC truly was the best. Their short promos like this was where they shone.

  • why did he change to number 45

  • @brawlandmeleerock

I believe 45 was his baseball uniform number back in his school daze', youngbuck!

  • 3:32 wow never seen that game winner yet its his best ever!!

  • "The best in the world has returned" Bob Costas

A more accurate statement would've been, "The greatest of all time has returned."

  • @Calbenmike its tough to call between him and wilt chamberland sorry if i misspelled that

  • People always talk about Jordan physical skills but they often overlook the intangibles that separated him from the rest. His court and positional awareness was through the roof, he never seemed out of position or lost, his timing and feel for the game and cracks in defenses of the opposition, his ability to get to the basket with ease even at the age of 34-35. Most players at that age turn into jump shooters, kobe, Jordan became more of a low post player as he got older. Truly the GOAT.

  • this the first time ive seen MJ wearing number 45

  • @sreamdevil your retarded

  • wow blocked taking it back up. Now that is something.

  • wait this is at indiana home court... but when mj has the ball u can hear screams and cheers LOL

  • That"s when you know your the greatest when you retire cuz your so good

  • I am fully aware that I'm not going to be like him. I mean I really want it to be just like him physically & mentally but it seems that I simply cant. But I do learn something from this great man.... and I put it in a very simple word if possible and if appropriate - DETERMINATION. thank you MJ.

  • this is why he is the best 3:09 no one else can do this. the GOAT!!!

  • Kobe is coming for ya Mike!

And it's all thang to you.

He is your protege. Your mirror image.

  • @Shaqless

The only thing Kobe has that mirrors MJ is his ring totals, which is a TEAM accomplishment, not a gauge for individual talent & skill. His individual body of work as a player and his consistent on-court production from season to season, is VASTLY inferior to MJ's.

Kobe's an all time great in his own right, but U kobe homers in making these ignorant & uninformed claims about him in relation to MJ, seriously overrate him TOO MUCH.

  • @blackadam06 Michael Jordan has 6 rings and Kobe has 5..

  • @FumbDucKKK I hate to admit it, but Kobe will tie Jordan in rings before he retires.

  • @Calbenmike maybe, but not in talent

  • @jgodspeedc Lay off the drugs eh?

  • joleroke my msn in profile! Michael Jordan's Return

  • what the fuck is a hardboard court, bob costas? ive always been annoyed at that fuck.

  • he so great that the two year absence didnt affect him at all

  • It should be illegal to compare anyone to his Airness !!!! How nice is that shot after he gets blocked....

  • how tall are you ?

    is 5'10 good for basketball?

  • @TheLeilisa height is not everything..well for most they may say yes. height is everything if one ever want to step in his feet in the NBA or in any basketball league around the world. But I think tht's the common & all time mistake. Even MJ said it once that height is not really the MAIN factor for a person to be a great basketball player. Wht is important is one's determination. (I mean one of those MAIN IMPORTANT FEATURES excluding height and the other physical features).

  • Jordan is the reason people started to use the word glide.

  • The best there is, the best there was, and the best there ever will be.

  • @LcplHabon Bret Hart?

  • @KiDMeX323 Yep. Quote from Bret Hart. But Jordan embodies that quote.

  • @LcplHabon yea it does srry it took a while 2 reply

  • @LcplHabon agree

  • I had chills from 0:01-4:10

  • I have free working tips to grow taller add me !

  • Best player ever

  • Man, the Magic took the Bulls out to the woodshed that year

  • i have a boner.

  • @AdolfLazyEye can i play wit your boner? like smack it around n stuff?

  • I have chills.

  • someone pleas tell me for how long he had number 45 for ? and for what reason did he change his number ?

  • @SunnyBoys2 Since he left for baseball, they put up his jersey. Then he decided to come back, but he couldn't wear his jersey for the whole season. That's why he had 45. He got #23 after the year he came back.

  • His number was retired so he had to wear 45. The first he came back to play was against the pacers ( remmber because him and miller go into it). That was like a week or two before the All star break. So some like 3months and a half he wore 45.

  • @SunnyBoys2 He actually only wore it for the last 17 games of the regular season that he played in and then the first round of the playoffs against the Hornet's and after a bad game two against the Orlando Magic in round two of the playoffs he switched back to #23 for the remainder of the series and was fined by the league for the switch. He wore it because that was the number he wore as a kid and his father had passes and never seen him play in another number other than #23.

  • THE most ECSTATIC, MOVING, and AMAZING game of basketball I have EVER been to. You can almost hear my dad and I screaming in the crowd ;) It was the best feeling ever seeing MJ come back to what he loved so much, and after everything he had been through <3

    MJ will live forever.

  • the Best Ever

  • must get boring commentating for him. Jordan.....scores.... jordan!... scores.... jordan!! scores.....

  • whatever happened to bob costas. it seems so corny....but his intros were so poetic and but they HYPED you up and gave extra drama to the game.

  • Back then all we had to worry about was "money, strikes and lock-outs" from our sports heroes. Since then, we've had murder (Ray Caruth, Ray Lewis), rape (Kobe Bryant, Ben Rothlisberger), steroids/performance enhancersn(A-Rod, Clemens, Bonds, Manny, Sosa, McGwire, Canseco...etc)...I miss the 1990s!!!

  • 3:47 perfect block on jordan den a second later he eyes the sh*t out of him damnnn

The best that ever did it! MJ

  • I hate faggot ass Bob Costas.

  • you could tell that half season he was more in baseball shape, the next year he was back in NBA shape after training hard and shit....was...over (for the next 3 years).

  • Lebron screw you. If you think your king, just remember who god is.

  • Y did he have the # 45

  • @16zachg I believe at this point his #23 jersey was already hanging in the Rafters when he came back.

  • @Sackxay no he wore 45 because that was his brothers number in high school, he wore 23 because that half of the number 45 well rellay its 22.5 but rounded up its 23

  • I remember where I was with he scored 55 versus the Knicks shortly after he came back. Magical.

  • my opinion the best basketball players, and if u guys really think about it! ull see why

    1 jordan - no doubt

2 Hmm Iverson -- so short and still skooled 6.7 feet guys

3 Grand Hill -- how can anyone forget grant hill, woulda been god if no injuries

4 Karim Abdoul Jabar - his stats say it all

5 Kobe Bryant - Amazing style, needs to prove him self remaining years!

  • @akbar232323 yup i agree with you from 1-4 jordan is the greatest , but i do think if grant hill would'nt have so many injuries thru out the years he would of been great, and the iverson one,, hell yeah,,my 2nd fave player besides jordan, loved iverson when he was with georgetown

  • he quit on his team. but winning 3 titles makes it ok. he left in october. how the heck was the team supposed to make any moves? a lot of people have their parents die and don't quite their jobs. still, he's greatest of all time.

  • @robat227 and cameback and won 3 more again and yeah I think MJ was entitled to handle his pain however the hell he felt like it, and he could have given the bulls a 7 month notice your not replacing the BEST PLAYER EVER, and please plenty of people have left jobs and school over the death of someone close,James Jordan didnt drop dead of cancer or a heart attack the man was murdered, and his son no matter how famous had a right to sort through his grief his way, as many people do

  • @sportstalk23 he played baseball in the public light while being paid as the best basketball player in the world. it's just really strange.

  • i like michael jordan too but reggie miller is my favorite player of all time

  • number 45?

  • @kingbruno617 yeah, i think he had to wear #45 because they already retired his #23 jersey

  • @kingbruno617 He had to wear 45, which was his baseball number, because his 23 was retired and NBA rules didn't allow him to wear it during that season. He wore 23 again the next season.

  • Bob Costas needs to come back an announce games again! and that includes The World Series, as well.

  • lol, is that what you call home court advantage? even the fans is cheering for Mike

  • Greatest ever and it isn't even close. There is nothing that can be said that will change the fact that MJ is the best ever! Past/present/future....

  • and my god was their center huge!!!

  • mike was just a man among boys

  • God, he makes Kobe look like nothing.

  • man, impossible moves. joleroke I really like the middle =P Could you believe that I worked out enough to start dunking! I just completed the the nba training routine over at "50inch vertical (dot) com" and managed it in just 1 and a half month!

  • It was so nice to see him return from his suspension. Oops did I say suspension? My mistake?

  • watch the video watch the F@#$ video, and tell me kobe can reach thei leval, b@#sh@#

  • jordan is the best player ive ever seen

  • Kobe and Jordan are like the same player but they both live in parallel unvierses.

  • @imfreeinfinity Umm...No. Kobe is a wannabe, down to the mannerisms he's copied. He's very good, but not even close to Mike. Kobe's not even top 5 among Lakers. 1-Magic 2- Kareem 3. West 4. Shaq 5. Elgin Baylor ( I would put Wilt in there too, but he didn't spend a bulk of his career there).

  • @osuswoosh Dude Kobe is on the top three lakers of all time list just because of the fact he is the lakers all time leading scorer. Kobe doesn't want to be like mike he wants to be better than mike, and if that means copyiing mikes game atyle or mannerisms he will do that. Kobe studies the best to be the best. You have to ubderstand that buddy. I know you like mike and all, but kobe is not better than him now but he is in the same conversation.

  • Let's see..

MJ has 6 seasons of AT LEAST 50% shooting, kobe..0. MJ has AT LEAST 10 seasons of 48% shooting, kobe..0. MJ has AT LEAST 7 seasons of shooting 4-5% ABOVE the league avg, kobe..0. MJ has 6 career PLAYOFF series of avg'n 40ppg, kobe..0. MJ has 4 seaons of avg'n 8+ apg in the playoffs, kobe..0. MJ has 8 career PLAYOFF games, kobe..0.

  • con't.

MJ has 10 scoring titles, kobe..2. MJ has 38 career 50+ games, kobe..15. MJ has 220 career 40+ pt games, kobe..70.

In FACT, his BEST SEASON to date, as far as on-court production goes, MJ has BESTED 8 times & tied it 4 times..

Sorry kid, kobe's BEST is AT BEST, MJ's average..

No, he's NOT in the "same conversation" kid..

  • @imfreeinfinity Kobe deserves his respect, however, how can you put him in the top 3? Kareem is the all-time scoring champ, and won 6 titles overall (5 with L.A.). Magic led those teams to the championship in the toughest era in basketball history. Also, the way I look at it, Kobe has one ring where he was the guy. The 3 peat Lakers of the early 2000's were clearly Shaq's teams, which trumps Kobe again.

  • People keep trying to find ways to not give Kobe all of his respect. Shaq and Kobe won with each other like MJ and pippen. They both proved they can win without each other as well. Shaq and Kobe are both 4-2 in final appearances. Kobe lost in finals against the celtics and Shaq lost in finals against the rockets when he played in orlando and they both lost together in 2004. Who trumps who?

  • Kobe is a good b-ball player but not so as Michael was as the same age.Jordan is simply the best of all time and you can`t put Kobe on the same level where Michael was.

  • 4:00 " God as disguise as Michael Jordan ".

  • Are you that stupid? Kobe worked harder than Michael???....Jordan had to work on his jump shot over a few years to become one of the best jump shooters in the game, as he was already the greatest finisher, and the fact that he came back after 2 years away from the game, and you compare Kobe's work ethic to Jordan???...How dumb can you be, the adversity that Jordan had to overcome with his father being murdered, leaving basketball, then coming back and proving to everyone he is still the greatest

  • Everyone says that Jordan is the greatest of all time, and I think that is an accurate statement. But when people say that Jordan is the most competitive player who wants it the most and works the hardest I shake my head. Kobe wants to win way more than Jordan ever did and he worked harder at his game than Jordan.

  • Fail.

  • You obliviously don't know anything about Jordan.

  • why are you hatin. jordan worked harder than kobe, he had to work hard cuz he got cut in highschool.

he struggled for 8 years to win a champion ship.

  • @airHaakon I don't hate Jordan, I think he is the best of all time. But it is not because he worked harder. Can you imagine Kobe taking 21 months off the game. He loves the game too much and definetly more than Jordan.

  • his father was murdered wanting him to try baseball, he didnt have any chalenges in the game of basketball. so when he returned he once again had to prove to his fans and to the media that at age 32 he still was the greatest. jordan was so cometetive that he ended up in some sick gambling shit. jordan at age 47 can still average 15 per game with the rules today.

  • he did not quit because he didnt love the game he quit since he didnt have anything else to prove and his father was murdered after pushing jordan to play pro baseball. just watch one of jordans hundred documentaries i would recomend (michael jordan to the max) which is on youtube if you search part one then the name. i think your meaning will not stay the same.

  • "Can you imagine Kobe taking 21 months off the game. He loves the game too much and definetly more than Jordan"

Your comment is so LAUGHABLE, retarded, juvenile, immature & down right ignorant, that it doesn't even bare an elaborate fact filled response. That's something that ONLY a dumb ass kiddie kobe homer, with NO perspective on the game past 5 yrs ago, would say..

    BlackMamabaShark = retarded idiot..

  • You need professional help dude. When you debate you don't attack a persons character. If you know so much about sports get a job at espn- Oh! probably can't because you'll end up fighting people in the studio if they don't agree with you. LOL! Stay off comment space you sad individual.

  • Can U offer up any factual evidence to refute any of what I said? No? Then U have no argument..

Not agreeing with me isn't the issue, posting nonsensical, opinionated claims in the place of factual information is. That's what uninformed morons like yourself try to get away with. And I DO know a lot about sports history. I don't apologize for it, nor will I dumb down to appease idiots like U.

U don't like it? Then step yo WEAK ASS game up on the matter & get that bitch-ass-ness out ya system..

  • People don't give Kobe all of his respect?

I acknowledge what he's DONE & consistently DOES! That's where it stops!

"they both lost in 04. Who trumps who?"

% of laker pts scored in the finals

    2000: Shaq 38% to kobe's 14%

    2001: Shaq 33% to kobe's 23%

    2002: Shaq 36% to kobe's 24%

    2004: Shaq 26% (he was injured) to kobe's 27% <--notice they lost

Shaq = highest scoring avg for centers in Finals history & is 1 of the FEW guys to score 30 pts in ALL games of a Finals.

    You've been answered..

  • Going into the 4th quarter of Game 4 of the '04 Finals, Shaq had 36 pts & 14 rebs. Because of kobe, he didn't touch the ball 1 time in the ENTIRE qtr!! It's funny how U kobe homers forget how this broke up that team, & why Phil left, and called kobe out on this in his book! Kobe shot 'em out of that finals!

"..he wont listen to anyone, I've had it with this kid!"

-- Phil Jackson; "The Last Season: A Team In Search Of Its Soul"; p.94

Now go bitch at Phil about not givin' him his respect!

  • LOL! go take anger managment and please stop sending me stats. LOL! what a clown. Don't quit your day job buddy. LOL! Blame the whole team because I'm sure they had the ball and didn't give it to shaq neither. You hate Kobe for personal reasons and it isn't like you know him. LOL! This convo is over. I'm asking you please stop sending me comments.

  • "I'm sure they (the team) had the ball and didn't give it to shaq neither"

Lets see who Phil placed the blame on after that series..

"I've had it with this kid! He won't listen to anyone! I remain convinced that the Lakers would have been more successful & less divided with Jason Kidd running the show..we might be gunning for our 5th [straight] championship"

-- Phil Jackson; "The Last Season: A Team In Search Of Its Soul"; p.94

Everyone, even Phil, saw what kobe was doing in that series..

  • "This convo is over"

It's been over..U never had an argument to begin with LOL!! You're claims, as ALL ignorant ass kobe homers, have been UTTERLY debunked & refuted, os yeah, it IS over..

You're dismissed now..come back when U actually know what the hell it is you're talkin' about..

  • Almost too good

  • DEERFIELD

  • 2:00 Classic Michael Jordan.

  • I look at alot of these shots and I see so many and 1s that aren't called. If that were Kobe or Lebron in today's NBA they definately woulda got And 1s on alot of those shots.

  • i wander how poeple will react when he'll die

  • @skipe94 why the fuck do you wonder that?

  • Michael, Please come back again!!!

  • @TheWorldKing21 dude he's like 46 fucking years old he's not coming back lmao

  • @StealthxGaming He actually practices with the Bobcats sometimes and Larry Brown says if he joined the team right now he'd be a benefit undoubtedly! At age 46 you can still be in great shape! Especially when you have been your entire life haha.

  • sam vincent said that dumbass, and he only trained once

  • @slipknoterman Pretty sure i've heard Larry Brown say it in an interview that he shoots around with the team every now and then.

  • @slipknoterman and you're retarded for trying to even argue about who said it... it was said, that was the point. and slipknot fuckin sucks.

  • link me up with the interview ur talking about and u got me, until then just suck my dick

  • just picture u guys this, MJ not retiring (the first time) and not going to wizards and still played with rodman, pippen. MJ would have like 9-15 nba titels!

  • Not likely. Pippen was never the same after the back surgery anyway and een MJ was showing (subtle) signs of decline in '97-'98. Rodman was 37! It was a great run, but it was over.

  • @HeadlessEye Remember Jordan wasn't declining his drive was... so he tried to conquer baseball and couldn't find a niche, went back to basketball, but, when he went back the rules began to change to improve the flow of offense which would have greatly benefited Jordan... also, remember Jordan was Dominating these young kats at his late 30's
