I think there more of an all-around type of faction... you just have to have the right units at the right time. I had a 60 loyalist units and they were all wiped out by bombers.

Cybrans rock! I think the cybrans had the biggest advantage: having the help of an AI (both in their individual minds and QAI). But the loyalty program enslaved a majority, and the unaffected ones just split up into nodes or tribes. If the cybran were really a "nation" then they would have won the infinite war fairly easily. It also sucks that QAI turns bad, due to the seriphim...

For the Cybran campaign, Black Sun destroys the gate network. giving the Cybrans 5 years to plan and rebuild.

they weren't losing because they were technologically outgunned, it was because the president refused the general's defense stratgey by pulling back forces into more concertrated manner instead of sending them as reaction forces. the UEF were simply using the wrong tactics, and the president being stubborn did not help matters.

for cybran nation, Black sun has two things, in the beam was a virus that destroys the loyalty program (and because the gate, it spreads though entire space). Secondly it overload the gate network, destroys all the gates and becuz of the quatum waves, no1 can use gate or any other quatum teleportation for 4.8 years... As Gauge (taunt 16)said: We will be free!!!
