Some outside force is heavilly involved in maintaining this conflict and conflicts in all the horn of africa. the west needs cheap resouces to survive and compete or westerns will go back to burning coal and wood . if the U.s dollar collapse does come expect major wars.

What is not widely known is the fact that the US has been supporting, financing, arming and training the South Darfur rebels for many years now. Why? Because China legally owns the concessions to the largest and richest oil fields in South Darfur, oil fields that the US has long coveted. Therefore, the US is directly and largely responsible for the bloody mess in Darfur.
