Who said anything about a nanny state, etc? I didn't support the Iraq war, and i am very concerned about the bailout (which Bush started) - however, I see the potential for being able to spend the money that has been legally collected on things that benefit us - such as new energy sources, updating infrastructure, etc. - and this type of spending actually gives us BACK $1.59, on average, for every $1 spent on it. Taxes simply aren't illegal - you just have to focus on WHERE/HOW it gets spent.

Uhm - again, you did NOT provide what case Judge James Fox's quote comes from - unless you can cite a CASE with the page number, it is not going to get you anywhere.
