  • until PS1 i think all racing games on home consoles sucked as bad as Pole Position

  • ahhh viper how the memorys of him pissing me off comes back

  • This game is why I now have a 2006 Yamaha R6.

    ...True story.

  • ahh i rememberd using the cheat to get the super bike for the first race. It was so unfair hahaha

  • Road Rash 3 was much ezier then Road Rash 2. I dont believe that i made it past level 4 on RR 2. I must say that i this think game fucked me up mentally as a kid. I crushed every other road rash but this one. Notice that he only wrecked 2 twice and the bike died.. HOW? the hell r u suppose to ride a level 5 race and make it to the end with out getting busted or ur bike dying? See 20 years later and im still pissed. This game gives me tourettes syndrome.

  • oh man that brought back memories. i remember when i learned the wild thing 2000 cheat, fire a nitrous off and hit the huge jump in hawaii and ramp outta the screen and land a mile away, normally ended with slamming into a tree but damn was it fun, digging out my genesis now! lol

  • Nice review! Which game do you like better : Road Rash 2 or 3? And for what reasons?

  • I loved taking the cop off his bike in this game, usually shouting 'TAKE THAT YOU FUCKING PIG!' at the screen lol

  • @ChrisRockSteady That was so hard to do actually fighting them, but you could always shove em into oncoming cars ;) Nothing like seeing them flipping end over end in your rear view.

  • I am sorry to say that ROADRAS 1 AND 2 has not aged well. They should be re-made. Cargames in general from the 80´s and early 90´s are pretty sad now.

  • I loved going through this game and seeing what people said to you after the race, some of the racers would respond differently to you depending on how you treated them. There was a female character I think called Natasha who was sweet on you but if you punched her during the race she became a bitch... why has this franchise disappeared?

  • @darkknight187

Yes, exactly. If you hit her in any way and/or also successfully knock her off her bike, she will be your enemy.

  • i HATED when after i fell the police SUDDENLY appears..like WTF lmao

  • So many pissed off hours, memories.

  • why are there so many dislikes? D: don't forget to like this vid >.<

  • That has got to be the single greatest ending sequence in existance.

  • Road Rash, TimeSplitters, Truxton... some games aren't masterpieces but are just plain awesome.

  • You're hilarious, man, and great at deciding when to comment and when to stay quiet.

  • i found road rash in my closet the other day and the whole time i was playing it i could just hear this guy talking in my head saying how awesome it was haha. this review was inevitable for classic game room.

  • mark is a guirro sensation from the jersey shore lol jk :P

  • i liked road rash 1 better

  • ahh road rash II, the first road rash game i played a friend of mine had an Megadrive and he got me into the genesis, the menu song is epic.

  • Sych a badass game, and great music too.

  • road and the grass looks like from South Park :D

  • id love a modern version of this, great game

  • My favourite game :)

  • Why don't they remake this game for XBox or PS3? I bet it would be awesome

  • To steal a weapon, it's just a matter of luck. When punching if you punch him just before/at the same time you steal their weapon.

  • Gotta love when EA used to put in secret cars/bikes into their games.

  • Goddamn! He DID do a review of Road rash 2!

  • I think road rash 2 is the one i'm most farmiliar with. a friend had it. played the fuck out of it. fuck pe #1, that bitch can go to hell lol

  • I love the music in these games :D

  • you steal their wepon by punching them when they try to hit you, this is possible by the fact that if you have a wepon it takes longer hit swing it

  • Dear EA: INSTEAD OF MAKING A NEW FUCKING BURNOUT WHY NOT MAKE A NEW ROAD RASH AND MAKE IT LIKE THE CLASSICS!!!!

  • "that's how the pro's do it" rofl

  • I was always such a PRO =)

  • Oh god, I remember getting catapulted across the finish line from Road Rash 2. That is awesome.

  • "Bite me"

  • Wow, you bounced about 4 times before crossing that line.

  • 6:18 Yes the SU!C!DE B!KE

I bashed some shit and flew so far once.

& then I just ran across the line without it. huhuh.

  • I remember really wanting to fuck Natasha! Does that make me weird? The weirdest thing would be that I was only about 10 years old at the time...

  • (IDK if this is on this one) but on road rash 3d as the bikers are attacking you with a weapon you gotta grab them and then u get the weapon. that is probably on this game too.

  • For those who dont know how to get the club or chain, when your opponent attempts to hit you and fails you press the ATTACK immediately and you'll snatch his weapon.

  • Thanks so much for uploading this, the music takes me back to when i was 5 years old and all the fun i had playing it, favourited.

  • Wasn't there a group of people who were your 'friends' in this game? If you left them alone, they left you alone, but if you hit them... oh man; it was ON!

  • I love all of the road rash games but my favorite is road rash for the sega Saturn

  • Comment removed

  • This looks so much better in HD!

    Oh. wait. no it doesn't.

  • I played Road Rash II on my Sega all the time. This game was great.

  • Screw EA for sitting on some of the best video game franchises of all time and letting them rot.

  • @Obviously

This comments deserves infinite thumb ups. Who needs another Madden game when we could be playing some next-gen Road Rash? Especially with online multiplayer. And this is coming from someone who doesn't really care about online multiplayer.

  • wasn't there a Road Rash 3D for the first playstation?

  • @MrIve1985 Yes there is.

  • Where did youtube get the idea the advertising "Single Muslim Dating" towards me would be a good idea.

  • Wait which Road Rash had the cattle prod as a weapon?

  • @Nragemachine

Road Rash 3: Tour de Force (1995)

  • OMg this takes me back, loved that game!

  • NJ!!!!.....OMG VIPER were i got my sn

  • NJ!!!!!

  • I played this every day when I was a kid! That music takes me right back to '92. Would love to see an up-to-date version.

  • I laughted so hard playing this and Road Rash 3, good times.

  • Cool! I'm probably going to get this!

  • Who needs a bike

  • Rockstar put a side mission mini game type thing in the Lost and The Damned GTA down loadable content that is just like Road Rash. They even hint around about it.

  • that ending was amazing.

  • I've been playing the Road Rash games since I was a kid, and have always really liked them.... but I think I prefer Skitchin'. It's basically Road Rash 3, but you are on Roller Blades instead. You spend your money to buy better roller blades and pads and stuff, and to go faster, you can skitch (hang on to the back of cars). If someone hangs on to the same car, you can beat each other up with stuff. Idk. they're all awesome. After the Saturn version, though, they started sucking kinda.

  • this is tha 1st video game i ever had...i wish i could play it again

  • @shamjokr

    you can emulate it.

  • The cut scenes are awesome

  • i remember playing this game for hours straight with my brother.... ahhh good times

  • I remember this game, it was one of my favorites...to bad my mom took it away from me because it had violence lol the 90's were awesome!

  • we need a remake of this on ps3 now!!!

  • I've soooo totally won a race or two by hiking to the finish after wrecking my bike, rather than returning to my bike to get blown up. Good job!

  • 09:33 He died winning, great death.

  • Good ole player A

  • ahh memories

  • oh gosh my fav game i had road rash 1 i so what to buy the SMD again! i think you can take the cop bike when you knock him off? he runs after you? it been sooo long........... love the vid :) face plant ouch!

  • Comment removed

  • lmao i used to have roadrash 1 back in teh day when i was like 6 i used to love driving into the people just before the finnish line and go flying across and winning the race whilst flying in the way, those were the days lol

  • RR II is my favorite in the series.

  • press and hold A + C + up on the D pad + start and you will hear the music screw up and when you let off you will hear the game scream Yeah

you will get the special bike that has unlimited nos (200mph without nos and 250 with nos).

  • all you gotta do to get weapons is punch while their weapon's out.

i was playing this literally 20 minutes before seeing this video, so i know :p

  • You need to get your hands on megamania for the 2600 that game was awesome in the day.

  • Comment removed

  • FUCK THIS IS MY FAVOURITE CONSOLE GAME EVER!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • check out the rear view mirrors!! hahaha classic! oh yeah, used the play this in my buddies garage as a child for hours!!

  • Another awesome review of an awesome game.

  • I still have the code for the last level if anyone wants it LOL. I tried it after all these years and it STILL WORKS on my Sega 3!! The good ole; days!

  • lol, good times, good times! XD

I always loled when I beat the shit out of the cop or someone else

  • Could you please do a review for "Road Rash 3: Tour de Force" (1995)?

  • I´ll buy a sega genesis just for this saga.

  • @kingnarutorule

Yes, there was a RR3. That game was "Road Rash 3: Tour de Force," released in 1995.

  • The 3do version was awsome.

  • Road Rash for the 3DO was SOOOOO good! It had great graphics, hilarious live action cutscenes of police cars running over drivers, and it had a great soundtrack by Soundgarden!

  • Did the reviewer just criticise Rob Hubbard's masterful music?!

  • 8:00 THE BEST ENDING I HAVE EVER SEEN!!!

  • haha i thought i was the only one that know about the off bike finish lol this game is a real classic!!!!!!

  • unfortunatly for me the only ones I have played were the three on ps1: Road Rash, Road Rash 3d, and jail break.

  • i used to have this game and it was so much fun u could have all different colored bikes and if u attack the cop u get the baton its so much fun

  • Road Rash 64 was awesome as well.

  • The best version of Road Rash I've ever played is the 3DO version. It's mega-awesome! :)

    STAY AWESOME! :)

  • If he thinks this version's good he should check out the Windows version, much higher framerate and much more playable

  • @cAc3d Your're fucking retarted, how old are you 12? what a fucking bag of shit you are.

  • Man I remember when I was 12 and my mom and dad ask what I wanted for christmas, SEGA GENESIS WITH ROAD RASH.

  • Never heard of that game, looks so cool ! :D

  • Lol

    great ending!

    "who needs a bike?"

  • Review Chuck Rock 1 and 2!

  • Thumbs up if you rewinded to see the bike crash on the review mirror

  • @Danextgen

"review mirror" seriously... you mean 'rear view mirror' as in a mirror that allows you to view the rear... fucking hell people are you really this stupid? This comment got 20 thumbs up for fuck sake.

  • @TornadoCreator stfu spelling nazi

  • @TornadoCreator Its the internet... y do u actually care how people spell things? nobody actually tries when typing. besides it was probably a mindless mistake

  • @hypothesies1

The internet is the predominent form of communication in the modern world now, it's how we work, seek entertainment, communicate, shop. Pretty much everything is on the internet now, and considering that we can't discern tone or facial expressions on the internet it's even more important that we make an effort. "It's the internet" is not an excuse and if you think it is you clearly have no self-respect or you'd have enough pride to not look like a fucking moron online.

  • @TornadoCreator Its fucking Youtube.

  • @TornadoCreator Or he just doesnt care what a bunch of pixels think of how he acts. Some of us dont. Its not got anything to do with self respect or pride, its just that some of us simply do not give a shit what you or anyone else on the internet thinks.

  • @EmperorofCartoons

I know for some people the internet is supremely confusing, but we're not just "bunches of pixels" as you put it. Believe it or not, the people you talk to on the internet are actually real people.

  • @TornadoCreator If you think about it this way some things you see in the rear view mirror are thing you have seen previously (and re means to do again [prefix]) so in that case it could mean review mirror, but yes you are right it is technically called a rear view mirror.

  • @KaitonWLOC

I'm not "technically" right, I'm just right. There's no thinking needed, the word 'review' was used incorrectly. It's nice and somewhat creative of you to try and defend the dappy illiterate but no... it's not a 'review mirror', we're not using it to reminisce on a previous event with a critical eye, we're looking at our rear. The rear view mirror isn't to look at it again, it to look at it when it's at your rear... not even close to similar.

  • @TornadoCreator Well, I tried.

  • Please review the CD version of Road Rash, which was on PC, Saturn, PSX, and 3DO. That game was awesome! It's my favorite in the series.

  • I remember this game. You can steal pepper spray off of the cops and its fun as hell.

  • The Saturn version was actually the first Road Rash game I've played. That game really KICKED ASS.

  • There is an N-64 version of road rash that kicked ass

  • You review all the games I remember from my chidhood . . .seeing this brought back alot of great memories. Love your videos, always very entertaining and informative with excellent capture footage to boot!

  • EBC9-1U0D

  • there is a sega saturn version ...awesome game!

  • I feel bad. I had a Sega Genesis back in the day, and I didn't play any of the Road Rash games until about a year ago. I fail as a human.

  • my first game :)

  • damn! i loved that game!....aaaaeeeaaa!!! lol! beating up the officer! lol!

  • I think EA should bring this game back for xbox live arcade or ps3 store........ I WOULD BUY IT.........

  • @CaBrown86 You do have MotoGP 3 on the current gen systems. The only thing is you don't attack other riders. With the push to making everything and everyone "politically correct", I believe a game that encourages murdering other drivers probably won't see the light of day. Shame though.

  • @CaBrown86 you would buy it cocksmoker

  • Anyone notice how at the end, the first thing he crashed into was a couple of guys cheering him on?

  • Agh! My sweet childhood!

  • That Wild Thing kicked my ass. It was awesome but way too freaking fast lol anyways this game still doesn't get old. It is a perfect balance of racing, combat and some rocking songs. Too bad the series never continued after the original Playstation. Road Rash 3D was good.

  • oh man, i LOVED this game back in the day. as an 8 year old girl, it made me way more badass than i actually was

  • This game is the epitome of the word pwnage.

  • Lol epic ending, If you had planned it, you wouldn't have done it.

  • Amazing review. Tried too that undrivable machine xD

  • Please, listen our guitar version from Pacif Coastl!

    /watch?v=1hY3M-fwsE8

  • These people made Sims 3 right?

  • Someone probably already said it, but I believe the code to unlock the wild thing 2k without entering a password is by press and holding up+a+c and then pressing and holding start while at the title screen.

  • one of my favorite games, this game was my childhood

  • Road Rash 64 was def my favorite, i remember playing that with my buddy for hours on end back in the day.

  • i just recently bought a genesis and this game but on my HD tv this game looks like shit. i thought HD was suppose to make ur games look better. i figured you can change the resolution to fit the older games. ANY HELP?

  • @ idanceforcookies666

    FAIL

  • @idanceforcookies666 - Oh dear...yes you have an HDTV but the Sega Genesis was made WAY before HDTVs even existed therefore it does not project images in HD. You see its cables? Those are not HDMI cables. The game looks shit? What the hell do you expect from a game console made 22 years ago? Play it on a normal TV, the way it's supposed to be played.

  • As seen past 6:30 when the Wild Thing 2000 is unlocked; this was always my biggest gripe with the Genesis line of Road Rash'es. You MUST get the very powerful bikes to keep up with the pack. And, they grow so powerful that they're both fragile and darn near impossible to keep under control. Plus, buying them would usually wipe my budget out to afford repairs.

Otherwise...these games are pure awesome! They have AI opponents that may race or chose to fight. You have allies NOT to fight. Etc.

  • Just saw the ending. Agreed. Great way to end the review. I've been thrown off the bike and flown Superman style over the finish line a couple times. But, to play pinball like that was awesome.

My favorite memory of this game series was a super rare glitch. Had a cop on my tail. Go running into a car. We both crash and burn. The engine just pans out, out, out as it can't determine if I lost via being arrested or via wrecking the bike. Wish I had video of that.

  • Smackin the tree was funny ass Hell lmao I use to love this game

  • bite me

  • *Thrusts arms in the air*

YEA! YEA! YEA! YEA! YEA! YEA!

  • nice finished

  • LOL. Awesome finish.

  • I still have the disk for my PC : )

  • The 2nd was the best road rash.

  • crash bandicoot warped has a couple levels that are kind of similar to this

  • one of my favorite genesis games ever, awesome music too

  • The ending to this video is.....one in a million, to say the least.

  • best*

  • This game falls into my top 10 bets of ALL time.

True Story: When this game first came out I went to my local blockbuster to rent it, found a copy, put the cartridge labeled " Road Rash II and when the Genesis started up, it was MADDEN!!!! FUCKING MADDEN!!!!! I almost cried since that was their only copy.

  • i love this game. i also have one for my genesis. im going to do a review of it soon. and trust me. it'll have the opinion as you. great game.

  • notice the guy in 2nd got nailed by that car door in the finishing cutscene

  • Yeaaaaah Rob Hubbard made the music!

  • Love to see reviews of Road Rash 3 for Genesis and Road Rash 3D on the Playstation 1

Your Reviews are great and LOVE the Road Rash Series and Strike Series on the Genny

  • And, I'd love to see Road Rash, Jail Break for the PSx. The one that does away with cash, makes you an outlaw, and goes (at long last) into analog steering!!!

  • review Road Rash for PS1! It's wayyy different

  • the 3do version is my favourite

  • Road Rash 64 was my fav. road rash game.

  • I wish they had not tried to be like their PSx counterpart and include all that music. They truly needed to fill the limited cart space with game play and environment, instead.

  • i can remember playing the PS1 version of this game!! and i absolutely played the crap out of it!

i still even got it after so many years.

  • omg best review ever! love this game and when u kept running into trees with the wild thing 2000 was the best part. im only 16 and my dad got me this game in the late 90's we played this game every time he came home from work.... good times now my pop and play beatles rockband i gotta find this game and play it

  • Hehe, awesome ending :)

  • Hmm.... this game really brings back memories of the RR on PC

  • like every kid here in india first played game is road rash and virtual cop on pc. in india we are pc gamers

  • "OOOOEEHHOOO!" Classic

  • I know why they call it road rash now.

  • ahhh the memories this review gave me of when i used to play road rash with my brother and my cousin. I wish I could get a genesis and get road rash 1. I used to think it looked amazing but now i still think its awesome. I always remember trying to get a club or chain from one of the police.

  • EPIC ending lol. that was hilarious.

  • This game dated pretty good it doesn't look that bad at all
