Extreme were not invited at first to this gig. They were such great fans of Queen that they ASKED to be included in the concert. Brian May thankfully did agree. The result was brilliant nonetheless. Second band to appear in the show after Metallica if my memory serves me well.

What is it with everybody disliking Gary's voice?? I agree he gets out ofbreath easily which can be annoying when you wanna hear tone for tone but come on give him a break his probably the only Freddie Mercury-styled singer left in the music world. You know i guess since this tribute music has became depressing :(

Gary is good, but I do not agree with that he is the best singer for imitating Freedies voice. Some times he seems to loose his voice during the first part of the medley.

The extreme perfomance was the best thing about this concert. They blew all other bands out the water. Fucking awesome....

Anyway, in my opinion they were one of the best performances in the concert, expecially concerning their energy and adaptation of so many Queen songs, in particular love of my life. But let's not forget Bowie, Lennox, G.Michael and Zucchero!

They were one of the few bands i followed in the 90's...really awesome. Check out Three Sides To Every Story, their 1992 album, it was inspired by Queen's Opera album. They even hired the same guy who did the orchestra for Queen. Unfortunately, I can't find any CD copy of Three Sides anymore, at least here in Manila.
