The comments before show the myopia and ignorance so prevalent in MA. If it does not fit your limited experience and narrow paradigm it's not valid. The practitioners are Jujitsuka (thus the Purple belt). GM Logan (black belt) happens to hold rank in Judo also. He is showing a comprehensive knowledge by also giving you the Korean perspective (not corean; guess that's Chic's style. Probably over your head too). Judo comes out of Jujitsu. BJJ comes out Jujitsu. Kano was Jujitsuka. Open your mind.

Why is their hands taped? Why is one of them wearing a purple belt? Why is one guy dressed in a BJJ/jiujitsu gi and the other dressed in a hapkido kimono? Why is the guy in black wearing socks? So many questions... So confused...

4th Kyu is orange in Europe, but the USJA obviously has different colors.

@s09372 We use purple belts here in Brazil too...
Here the belts are white, yellow, orange, green, purple, brown and then black, red and white, red.
For kids there are also gray and blue belts before the yellow.

@s09372 4th kyu (Yonkyu). comes after green belt or before brown belt.
