  • I've been inviting groups of mormons over for almost a year now.  Extremely nice people and a fairly tolerant religion. Too bad it's all demonstrably wrong.

  • Southern Baptist holy scripture doesn't assert that blacks a cursed with dark skin because they were the devil's minions.

    That's what's written in your religion, so you can either say that your religion is wrong, your holy books fallible, and not the product of divine inspiration and instead penned from a mortal man's imagination, or you can agree with it and be an ignorant racist.

    Mormons absolutely love blacks. You can go ask Gladys Knight, or any other African-American Latter-day Saint.

    Likewise, obcure quotes from the 1800s are not part of Mormon theology and doctrine.

    In the old testamen the only family that had the right to possess the priesthood were the sons of Levi

    Does the fact that the sons of Levi at that time were the only people that God allowed to have the priesthood means that God did not loved the other children of Israel as much as He loved the tribe of Levi?

    Those kind of people Can go to our Church but they Cannot be baptized and be members of our Church Until they have a True Repentance.

    We are not racist or anti-gay or anything like that I hope that I have explained this part of our doctrine.

    the answer is NO I am black skinned and I have the Priesthood and even if God didn't allow me to have the priesthood I still would have been blessed by other people in my life and in the Church who have the priesthood

    When Christ who is Jesus was on the cross, He called out to His God and my God. He said

    Mark 15:34

    "And at the ninth hour Jesus cried with a loud voice, saying, Eloi, Eloi, lama sabachthani? which is, being interpreted, My God, my God, why hast thou forsaken me? "

    or Psalms 22:1

    "My God, my God, why hast thou forsaken me? why art thou so far from helping me, and from the words of my roaring? "

  • now the title and name Eloi is semetic and the plural of such is Elohim. the him ending making it plural. In the Torah in hebrew, the word God is Elohim.

    With that said

    "'And they are one God, yea, the very Eternal Father of heaven and of earth. "
