@sugarnads It's impossible that it was during the Corsica 86. Ragnotti was on Renault 11 Turbo that year, not on R5 turbo.

He is Jean Ragnotti, one of the best french rally driver ever, he stop his carrier cause the rallycars goin' 4wheel drive, and he has no longer fun with that ... true story... check out other videos of him

@bobbj77 Testified. I saw him on "the Legend Boucles de Spa" in belgium one year. It's a classic rally revival. He came with a Renault Alpine A110 Group.4 (old authentic world rally spec). I can discribe how he drives. He was so ... quick , fast, nuts and has a perfect driving in the same time, all turns in a perfect trajectory with maximum speed that a car like this can give ... I bet than Ken "jackass" Block can't drive a car like this one, with his 550Hp+ Fiesta ... "Lol Handbrake-Gas! lol"

This car is so violent than it must be terribly hard to go fast on wet surface. When you compare this video with an other one from Ragnotti on dry tarmac, the difference is awesome

The surface seems quite slippery, and there is even fog on some parts of the track. Plus this rally was held in the end of the year, after the FIA decided to ban Group B cars because they aren't safe enough. So you're sitting in a 450hp unsafe rally monster, the road is wet, you can't see, would you push it to the limit? Although I think he was pushing it hard, and was quite fast.

It is wet, but I think this anyway is much faster than it seems to be in the video. Everyone who flimed his own driving with exact this camera position will know, that "realy fast" looks very slow on the screen.
