Hey the pilot was cool and super. But also what is not mentioned were the cool and unpaniced passengers. So many people want to panic and scream, but these people were thoughtful of others and helpful. Not you typical N.Y. selfish crowd.

Just great. Many some could learn by this act of generousity and calm mature actions. Nice going everyone.!

No pilot can train for this landing. Captain Sullenberger's cool demeanor, exceptional flying skills, and perhaps his glider experience when he was at the Air Force Academy combined to make a miraculous landing. I am simply stunned every time I watch this landing!

bull shit every time you land is practice it was a river landing not an ocean he didn't panic. he was scared shit less just like his passengers who buy the way had never practice either. the plane held together. he was a great pilot before this accident. and he could have died being the same pilot.

About an Hour before that happened I was playing FSX and I took off from that same airport!

I didn't crash but I was 4.2 NM away from another Plane :) I went to KDAY ( Cox-Dayton Int OH) Closest Airport from my house.

Captain of the boat want take pilot and copilot first from the plain but they rejected and after pilot was sure nobody is on plain anymore then he walk to the recue boat... Amazing pilot skill and realy profesional

That's just total crazy.....the plane did not break apart, it did not sink, people standing on the wings without falling off......Can someone explain to me why this plane did not sink? Let me guess, it is sealed? I know it should be sealed in order to be pressurized..my own guess.

The specific gravity of water is pretty great. More than most things in liquid states. The plane would be sealed. Irrespective of everything , the landing is beyond phenomenal. Very cool.
