  • How many houses he owns matters why? Is there any indication that he defaulted on his mortgages (if he has any)? Did the government have to bail-him out?

Any idea how many people The McCains employ so they can buy their own houses. People with money create jobs. Poor people do not. And the feds will house you in a housing project where crime runs rampant. Is that what you libs really want? Any evidence the feds can manage home ownership better than homeowners?

    More liberal crap.

  • im sick of this s**t if you the money you probly would own that many homes and look at oprah how many does she have

  • Yeah, but, Oprah's not claiming to be a "man of the people for the people" who attacks his running mate for trying to "spread the wealth to include the middleclass..."

  • i dont give a crap wat he said it shouldnt matter if you have one home or ten its bull crap when people talk about someones success.

  • bestservice1983 I agree!

we'll be screwed if this idiot wins.seriously.

  • well when reporters ask his stafff they just answer (we are talking about a guy who spend 4 years in the same house!) a former prisoner of war!!! ...... ehh ... and then what? o.o ..... iuts not like it makes him a better president .... and im sorry to say mcCain ...... but isnt there a good chance that you went nuts after getting tortured for 4 years? o.o ... but noooo! ... a guy who thinks his rival is paris hilton should be the president! :3

  • This is so hilarious!

How in the hell can this man say he's the man of the people and say he's the guy to help America out f the crisis we are in when He's so wealthy that he actually forgets what he owns

  • The best the McCain campaign can do with this one is to chalk it up to another one of his senior moments. Either way, it looks pretty bad.

  • Javadawg and Wiskawind. I couldn't agree more with you fellers if I got paid. Keep after the old Boog! RB

  • I wouldn't vote for that patriarchal, misogynist, warmongering McSame if he only had one house and it was in foreclosure! (smile)

    Go Obama/Biden 2008!

  • I agree 100%!!! When Bush took office in 2001 gas was $1.46 per gallon. We are spending $10 BILLION a month on a war that had nothing to do with 9/11 AND NOW 47 Million people are without healthcare. The list goes on & on.John McCain has voted 95% with BUSH and 100% in 2008.Intelligent americans know the facts.John McCain,Dick Cheney, and Bush don't belong in any office.

    OBAMA 08/Biden 08

  • What's a house?

  • McCain just emphasizes his own stupidity. Fifth from the bottom of his graduating class(dumbass!)

Has crashed five (yes count them !) planes. From the guys who used to fly missions to N Vietnam, he was not a Maverick, he was just a Daddy's boy who didn't have to follow the rules and who just happened to be a lousy pilot and got shot down. This man is not only a fool, but a very old fool (How many houses do I have - duh ??)

  • dear EndersWar.

i am multi disabeld homeless and though paid fro wi fi

and cell i cant affrod the one homeless shelter and

after anohter year of fighting section8 discrim i get voucher but no longer have move in resources.

yesterday was my bday i ate 99c store beans hot dogs

better than some ohter days. and not sure how ill manage food to the 1st.

if i was an addict instead there would be help

its a shame to throw such excess in the faces of the disabled hungry and homeless.

  • im so sorry i want to do something for the homeless and i mean that

i did a bad comment im so sorry

  • EndersWar you know how many ppl are fighting to just barely keep their homes!!!??! instead of being spoild and getting your tax breaks from the republicans how about you shelter a family that just got their house foreclosed! So while you decide which house to stay in this week their are people who wonder if they will have a house this week. I wouldnt take so much pride in more than one house.

ps. all you need is one house

  • not if you rent house's

  • ogm, my thing is, WE STILL DONT KNOW HOW MANY THEY OWN LMAO

    this might just sink mccain

  • how much free spudweiser do they drink

  • Who cares how many houses he owns. The only thing that matters is what their policies will be. And in that regard they both fail.

  • I saw this in an email:

The recent videos & critical comments he had been shown on YouTube by his team were more than McCain could handle. Shaking with rage, he read the threats & insults until he couldn't take it anymore. He stood up, yelled incoherently and smashed his wife on the top of her head with his opened right hand. When she screamed & tried to move away he apologized, saying he wouldn't smack her anymore if she would follow him to the bathroom so he could watch her pee stream.

  • Is this a contest? I am guessing all of the above!

  • mccain is no better than obama! Neither have a clue about how an average American lives. American people are so screwed! Nothing will ever change until we go 3rd party and kick Congress out on their asses!

  • actually your wronge, Obama worked many years with average american in chicago, read one of his many books dickwad

  • And Obama made it rich at the age of 34. McCain did not make it rich until he was 45. Before that McCain was on a NAVY salary.

  • petty fucking argument

  • Truth hurt?

  • yea cause obama is smart not a lazy cheater like McCunt..

  • McCain owns so many houses he can't remember them all, yet somehow the right wing keeps saying Obama is the eliteist. wtf?

  • McCain is pathetic and we are a pretty sad country to support a system that would let such a poor choice become a finalist to "lead" our government.

  • every one says mccain is going to lose but he isnt... why, because hes rich white and has the support of other rich white people so he can rig the voting machines like they did in the past 2 presidential elections.

  • Agree.

  • not smarter than a fifth grader?

McCain: finished bottom 5 out of 890 in the naval academy. Because of his connections he was still allowed to fly and crashed 5 planes.

Obama: Graduated from Columbia and Harvard, became editor of the Harvard law review, taught Constitutional law and managed to become the first African-American presidential candidate at the tender age of 46 beating out the Clinton dynasty.

Who is the 5th grader again?

  • wow nothing u say makes any sence.. good job looking like a fucken moron :)

  • You'd rather have a man who called his wife c*nt?

  • 5 million and above = Rich

    4 million is middle class

2 million is lower middle class and

1 million a year is minimum wage in America.. That is John McCain's little fantasy world.

CAN NOT AFFORD TO HAVE HIM AS PRESIDENT.

  • he cant remember where he shit last.say no to EXXON JOHN

  • McCain himself only owns one house, the rest are his wifes, so it doesnt really count. You cant hate the man for marrying a rich girl.

  • I thought death to us part and mi casa su casa????

  • Yea but you can hate him for thinking he understands the economy and whats happening to the middle class of this country.

  • Its simply a conflict of ideals. I was just making a joke about the mans situation.

As a point of opinion, not to argue or flame, what makes Obama qualified, or anyone for that matter, to "understand" whats happening to the missle class? Whens the last time he was considered "middle class"? And if the answer is because he used to be poor, let me just mention that men born far worse off have become captains of industry and became bastards all the same.

  • PopeKurt said: "what makes Obama qualified [] to "understand" whats happening to the middle class?"

    1) growing up with a single mother. 2) working several years as a community organizer in Chicago after graduating from Columbia (giving up lucrative prospects in mgmt consulting), where he worked on the ground trying to help steel workers who lost their jobs. He also worked as a civil rights lawyer with community organizers after he graduated from Harvard.

    --> tinyurl . com / 2e3qj3

  • PopeKurt said: "men born far worse off have become [] bastards all the same."

You're funny. Your question was what makes him qualified to "understand" the middle class not some weird theory about his character. He has not only lived in poor conditions, he has worked professionally to solve these problems on a grassroots level. He understands better than you probably. Eh, why am I wasting my time, you're obviously enamored with your social pessimism. Who's the communist candidate? Vote for him.

  • PIC103 & TRUTHNPOLITICS. YOU BOTH ARE IDIOTS. I guess you don't mind an elitist like McCain to budget your books! I take it you guys also have at least 7 houses. You think for a second he will go out of his way to make sure your needs are met?

  • LOL

  • yeah, it's seven. i heard it on faux spews channel.

  • They own some ranches on top of that. I believe 2 or 3 ranches. jedreport made a video about it.

  • its only 4 "houses" but they own 7 properties, is what they said on CNN.

  • You're WRONG!! McCain owns at LEAST 10 to 13 homes including houses, condos and ranches valued in the tens of millions. Less nuance more straight talk express shall we?

    --> watch?v=0Glia_Vrbc8

I really don't find this topic very interesting (at issue is McCain's inability to remember) but I am just amused by how the Neocon bots are now trying to downplay the amount of property McCain owns.

Oh and don't bore me with how you're not a Neocon bot. Heard it all before.

  • Far be it for me to believe the nation's and world's most trusted source of news, CNN, over some guy named Jed, who so happens to be an Obama supporter.

Dude, I'm a communist, but I suppose you've heard that before from a "neocon bot".

  • This is america and the "dream" at the moment is to own a butt-load of land and be extremely wealthy and have a hand in the government, so I feel the treatment of McCain over this situation is greatly undeserved and down right absurd, as it was widely acceptable till it involved an enemy of Obama.

  • PopeKurt said: "its only 4 houses"

CNN reports in fact that there are 6 houses on the Sedona ranch alone. I will provide the link further down.

PopeKurt said: "Far be it for me to believe the [] world's most trusted source of news, CNN, over some guy named Jed."

Your source is PopeKurt until you show your sources (but thanks for the melodramatic pitch). I even searched CNN's site and found no claim of 4 houses. The number circulated in MSM is 7 but that number is unspecific.

  • Jed is specific showing the individual properties. But don't take his word take the independant fact finding group politifact which gets quoted by MSNBC among others.

    tinyurl . com / 5sbtgt <-- they count 10 to 13 "houses":

"Politico found a third condo that the McCains own in Phoenix, which we missed, and that brings the total to eight."

"One of their properties, a ranch in Sedona, also has multiple buildings on it that could be counted as additional homes. We count it as one."

  • "CNN reported that McCain said there are six houses on the [Sedona ranch]."

"If McCain is correct that there are six houses on the property and you counted each one, the total homes owned would rise to 13"

Public records show the number of houses is at LEAST 3 on the Sedona ranch alone.

Ergo the number is at least 8 if you count the ranch as one property. If you count houses/homes, the number is at least 10 to 13.

  • PopeKurt said: "the dream at the moment is to [] be extremely wealthy and [] I feel the treatment of McCain over this situation is greatly undeserved"

Aww, first of all the point is not that he is wealthy but that he doesn't even have a handle on his own financial situation, so how would he be qualified to manage the country. And yes, it's a populist argument, but give me a break, Republicans are still airing ads to smear Obama as a terrorist and you feel bad for McCain? Puh lease.

  • It's not JUST that he has a lot of houses, it's that he DOESN'T EVEN KNOW how many he has. Do you understand how that looks bad when you are running for the most important job in the country?

  • Ummmm my final answer is.....

    (B) 7

  • Shit i'm bad for owning a house? fuck no... that guy is doing great

  • his doing great but the problem is he wants taxcuts for the rich and guess whos rich cindy mcCain. How could a President want a be think wife first and then country.

  • AHHAA... Not very smart... The rookie Obama has been duped again.. And you are helping McCain too... Ahhhaaa.... McCain has a little more experience than 1st year Obama, McCain just set him up, and Obama took the bait... McCain owns 0 houses, his rich wife owns them, that she got honestly, and now Obama has opened the door for McCain to bring up exactly how Obama got his mansion from the crook Tony Rezko.... Dumbies....

  • First of all the word is dummies not dumBies. Look it up! Secondly, you are clearly the dummy cause the question was how many houses McCain and his wife own. And that is btw what the American people care about. McCain is clearly the benefactor of these properties and he should have known the answer. The point's been made. I'm loving it. The senile old man is showing his cracks. Thanks Republicans for nominating that assclown.

    (pic103 impersonation: "AHHAA")

  • If McCain had wanted to bring up Rezko, he would have just brought it up and not deliberately made himself look like a jackass first. Your hallucinations are superb. The Rezko connections have been debunked so many times, if McCain brings that up again it will be out of desperation not as a strike of genius like you suggest. I doubt any non-Neocon would pay attention. Obama has been cleared and Rezko doesn't stick, HRC found that out a long time ago. Get with the program.

  • Btw there is so much dirt on McCain, you people don't even know. Keating 5, Abramoff, Enron ring a bell.

    --> watch?v=toKfaBngnP8

And these are no 5 times around the corner weak assumptions based guilts by association. These are real and documented problems with McCain's integrity. My guess is the Obama campaign will trickle these things into the campaign in the following weeks IF NEEDED. If you want to bring up Rezko, research Donald Diamond first for starters.

    --> watch?v=COGHdeTohjE

  • McCain is going to look very ugly by the end of this campaign. An ugly loser. Once again, I extend my thanks to Republicans for nominating that incompetent nincompoop.

  • Bla bla, you're just clueless. If you knew a little history and economic theory you wouldn't be spouting this snake oil salesman nonsense. Noble Prize winner Milton Friedman debunked the gold standard long ago and explained the role of the Fed. And he was a real libertarian and a real economist, unlike RP. But keep yelling as if you knew stuff. RP's message is aimed at simple minds like yourself. Obama's plan deals with the real causes underlying the crisis but you wouldn't get it.

    Obama '08

  • WHAT?! First off Milton Friedman did not DEBUNK the gold standard. He did explain the role of the FED and he WAS AGAINST IT. He was just a believer in Keynesian economics. Most Keynesians believe and advocate government stabilization policy. They also seem to believe that unemployment is a more important problem than inflation, of course they would since Keynes himself was a heavy advocate of a total fiat currency.

    CONTINUED.......

  • So, You Sir seem to be defending the status quo that has gotten us here in the first place in a sense of more gov't involvement. Yes, Austrian Economics doesn't even live up to empirical evidence. There's nothing we can disprove about AE, because there's no evidence that it has to live up to . On the other hand, I believe it is completely arrogant to accept that we have solved economics and disregard or shut out any dissenting opinions. That is not the American way.

    CONTINUED.......

  • Ron Paul supporters are the most intellectual in discussions of almost any issue we face today. It is simply astounding. Extremely detailed discussions about monetary theory, Arguments about Chicago school vs. Austrian economics, even Technocracy. Dissecting the tracts of long-dead leaders to see if they were advocating a foreign policy of non-intervention or militaristic engagement. Discussing Bastiat, Von Mises, Lysander, Spooner, Rothbard, Hayek, etc.

    CONTINUE.......

  • Ron Paul speaks to us as ADULTS and explains things as thoroughly as he can, and without sugar-coating. He does not rely on stupid flag-waiving jingoism or blind optimism to make us "feel good" about America. And he doesn't rely on the false benevolance of government to try to buy support. Ron Paul is NOT promoting a following of "supporters" but people who will question the status quo, authority, raise debates, and evolve this country. And that is the CHANGE we NEED.

    CONTINUED......

  • So, before coming up with your false "conclusions" of groups I suggest you use substance instead of attacks and generalizations in your comments.

Now in my view. I believe that if you start to get more and more government involved in fixing issues. Then you start to take out the involvement of volunteers and people to help solve their problems. Once you get the community involved then that beats gov't and increases efficiency anytime.

Examples are shown EVERYWHERE!!! Just look for it.

  • GiveItOrLoseIt, you're not as smart as you think you are. Milton Friedman was NOT a Keynesian during his relevant/influential work, he was a well known MONETARIST. That's his TRADEMARK. He did explain the role of the Fed as (among others) a necessary lender of last resort to prevent bank runs like the one that caused the Great Depression. He DID debunk the gold standard, in fact he advised the Nixon administration to get off the gold standard before Nixon was in reality FORCED to do so.

  • There are many reasons why Friedman favored floating exchange rates and constant growth (quantity theory) but I'm not going to go through all of this on a YT comments board. Your information is false and that's all I have to say at this point. And Paulbots are not the most intellectual, they're the most rabid, who repeat misleading propaganda spread by their master and THINK they're the smartest. In fact this arrogance was one of the problems of the campaign. (not the only one)

  • I never said economics was solved. I never even said that Friedman had all the solutions. But Paul has simply spread too many FALSE conspiracy theories and misleading arguments to be taken seriously. His critique is sometimes good but his solutions are radical but ludicrous. His pitch is to look intellectual and impress people while not being understood. Every politician needs a pitch. I don't fault him. But that's all there is to him, no more, no less.

  • This discussion could be had but not on a YT comments board. If you want to talk economics go to a university and get a degree. Paul's conspiracy theories have been debunked on many videos and blogs and websites. Start with basics not propaganda. I might be tempted to have this discussion AGAIN if Paul was still running, but he is not. As for how we view Paulbots we'll just have to disagree. I view them as arrogant, pseudo-intellectual bullies who do NOT question the propaganda they're fed.

  • I don't know who you mean with "flag-waiving jingoism" or "blind optimism", but that applies not to me, and I am not a Paulbot. So you can keep your arrogant pitch to yourself. And I'm all for raising debates but when you run into the same unreflected propaganda again and again it gets moot. Go write in Ron Paul in November I don't care. Can we part on these terms. That's all, have a nice day. I'm out.

  • PS: Since I know what you're thinking before you do and because I've been there a hundred times: I know that there was a Fed during the Great Depression. Friedman faulted the Fed for failing to fulfill its role as last resort lender during the Great Depression. This problem can not be seen separate from the gold standard though because it took away the flexibility from the Fed to set interest rates. Again, it's a complex issue, but Paul is backwards, ignoring empirical evidence, and unexciting.

  • It's not hard to criticize the status quo, but coming up with a solution is a little harder than what Paul has to offer. If you disagree, that's fine. We don't have to agree. But if it's the case then we disagree on such a fundamental level that it doesn't really lead anywhere. But I suggest you widen your horizon beyond Mises and Rothbard to include some accomplished economists. Once again, have a nice day. I'm out. Really this time.

  • And they tried to paint Obama as the elitist!

  • Ok, then McCain is a dumbass.

  • I think he is more of a fucking idiot.

  • And as for LiesnPolitics: Obama didn't talk down to anyone in SF. He accurately described people's frustrations with politics. It's something he wants to change. McCain is the one who continually talks down to people by repeatedly claiming their economic problems are only psychological. The fact that he can't count his properties or thinks richness starts at $5mill per year just underline more how out of touch he is.

  • A L Z H E I M E R ' S

  • I'm going to go with (B). Thats my final answer.

  • Buck John McCain!
