  • Lazy people like me might be a fan of step-ins and Flow bindings. I have a pair of step-ins and a pair of ratchets. I prefer my step-ins.

The pros of the step-ins: they are quicker, and don't require you to sit in the snow. Cons: I have personally noticed more strain on my legs when on an edge and some of them require special boots. I've never seen anyone have their board fall off with step-ins. Doesn't mean it doesn't happen though.

Ratchets provide control at the cost of time to strap in.

  • I slide on ice goofy but snowboard regular? lol

  • *insert comment about her goggles*

  • I use ratcheted bindings. I just sometimes get confused on where the buckles go. lmao

  • how much R rachets?

  • 0:51 till 0:57

    fail!

  • @Riannajean13 yeh lol

  • How about Burton step in with racket on the boot, a rigid back and a strap to stop me killing people below the chair.

  • @FuzzySid1 stepins suck dont buy them

  • Well, if the board comes off and hits someone below you, you could say ratchets are safer i guess. I prefer ratchets, some people hate rigid backs, but i find it helps in controlling, especially if your just starting out.

  • lol dont hate on her opinion flow binding is for people that just want to make life ezy thats all, same for the k2 bindings

  • naw brah, ratchets have a rigid back

  • @bogyjr some stepins do too..

  • so i guess she's saying that the ratchet style are safer?
