FSX Loopy Larry Bus Landing

I've tried and failed this mission so many times, lol. It's harder than some of the expert ones in my opinion

I touched down, kept it all the way on to the end of the runway and it still didn't work he said "i thought you where coming to visit, don't worry i'll turn around" pissed me right off.

I had problems with doing this and finally decided to reduce realism to minimum and tried it then. After couple of tries (when I was trying some weird stuff) I did it. Then switched back with realism to max and did it with first try. (there is quite big difference with realism settings on this mission - not as easy to flight in straight line.

The mission only requires you to 'land' on the bus for around 3 seconds by touching the roof and thus activating the trigger. It is not feasible to accomplish a full stop landing on the bus. I think you need to try the mission before you call anyone an amateur.

(oh, and do you have special needs? I'm judging by the poor grammar.)

@vlengoc it is actually possible to land on the bus :)

match the buses speed, land, keep throttle in time with the bus and slowly reduce throttle and set parking brake :)

I did this after my 10th attempt or something :D

Actually it's pretty easy, burt you  just need to know what to do ;)

You have to fly above him, and pull throttle to 0, then you will make it, at touchdown you don't need to brak just hold the same speed as he does, before he brakes, you start to brake... then you'll make it. ;) good luck

no no no thats cheating, you have to do it from the pilots seat not looking down on the plane. When done from the pilots seat the landing pad mostly disappears which makes it even harder to do.

It's really fricken hard when you play it from the virtual cockpit (otherwise it's like flying a model airplane); but it it is possible once you think of the bus like the numbers on a runway, side-slip in and treat the approach like you're landing in a massive crosswind.

The side-slip is the key to being able to see the bus right until you're on top of it. If you don't have rudder peddals, forget it.

this is the best mission in the game....Its better for me when i go slightly ahead of the bus then slow down
