Can't agree more with u! I did comment the same things as well regarding the advert. These businessman and woman do not understand the basic human common sense of what kind of advert we, as a normal consumer, would love to watch over and over again (stop to watch it) and what kind of advert whenever we see it, we just want to switch the channel!
I first started watching this show from the first series about 3 years ago, I wanted to learn from it, I wantd to know how business decisions are made, hiring and firing etc... Now I realise it's not about talent, grafting or personality it's about lying, cheating and being a complete dishonest rat, thank you for this lesson Sir Allan, we now know why so few financialy sucessful people are respected. Raef showed integrity and manners so has no place in the business world, it's a real shame!

Raef has had loads of good ideas - the winning idea in the Cards task, the brilliant deal on the cowhide in Marrakesh, etc. Yet Michael gets three or more chances and Raef does one thing wrong and gets fired? What is Alan thinking?
I don't think that Alan keeps sparing Michael because he is Jewish, but I do think that it has something to do with his statement in one of the episodes that Michael reminded him of himself when he was younger. Perhaps Alan believes that because of this similarity, Michael has the potential to be great.
Personally, I don't see it. Raef in my opinion was one of the best candidates, and Alan made a big mistake in firing him. I think Michael is only going to let Alan down in the long run.

I was absolutely amazed by this decision. Raef behaved impeccably during his time on the apprentice, no bully tactics, good leadership, good team work skills and good ideas. This was his first foot wrong and he was fired. I think Sir Alan didnt take to him because of his intelligence and his demeaner and prefers more 'down to earth people who are similar to him ... Raef ..your were too good for him anyway!!!!
I was really shocked at the choice SAS made. It makes me feel that he is quite sinister in his choice rather than business minded. Although they didn't fulfil the breif, Raef approached the task at a different level, which was pretty new compared to the other team. Raef definately deserved another chance and he isnt full of hot air. Bollocks!

Can't agree more with u! I did comment the same things as well regarding the advert. These businessman and woman do not understand the basic human common sense of what kind of advert we, as a normal consumer, would love to watch over and over again (stop to watch it) and what kind of advert whenever we see it, we just want to switch the channel!

I first started watching this show from the first series about 3 years ago, I wanted to learn from it, I wantd to know how business decisions are made, hiring and firing etc... Now I realise it's not about talent, grafting or personality it's about lying, cheating and being a complete dishonest rat, thank you for this lesson Sir Allan, we now know why so few financialy sucessful people are respected. Raef showed integrity and manners so has no place in the business world, it's a real shame!

Raef has had loads of good ideas - the winning idea in the Cards task, the brilliant deal on the cowhide in Marrakesh, etc. Yet Michael gets three or more chances and Raef does one thing wrong and gets fired? What is Alan thinking?

I don't think that Alan keeps sparing Michael because he is Jewish, but I do think that it has something to do with his statement in one of the episodes that Michael reminded him of himself when he was younger. Perhaps Alan believes that because of this similarity, Michael has the potential to be great.
Personally, I don't see it. Raef in my opinion was one of the best candidates, and Alan made a big mistake in firing him. I think Michael is only going to let Alan down in the long run.

This is just one of those tasks where it doesn't really matter who wins the task because you can fire anyone.
Making Rafe Project Manager just put him in the firing line immediately. Did SugaSug want him out?
I really wanted that nasty Helene to go...based on the other tasks though.
Lee's well cool, to be fair the other two made his presentation crap. Lucinda - she sees what everyone else sees when SugaSug tells them, she's quite insightful really.

I was absolutely amazed by this decision. Raef behaved impeccably during his time on the apprentice, no bully tactics, good leadership, good team work skills and good ideas. This was his first foot wrong and he was fired. I think Sir Alan didnt take to him because of his intelligence and his demeaner and prefers more 'down to earth people who are similar to him ... Raef ..your were too good for him anyway!!!!

I was really shocked at the choice SAS made. It makes me feel that he is quite sinister in his choice rather than business minded. Although they didn't fulfil the breif, Raef approached the task at a different level, which was pretty new compared to the other team. Raef definately deserved another chance and he isnt full of hot air. Bollocks!
All this bullshit about The Apprentice not being rigged is definately not true. I won't watch it again from now on as I've lost so much trust in the show.
