  • the video works but the sound doesnt play ???

  • dude i have the same laptop as you i look at your specs and they are the same

  • I dont get sound on ps3 either, can anyone help ?

  • I found using MKV2VOB crashes my laptop when converting with subtitles... hoepfully this works

  • When i do this and play it on ps3, theres no audio.

  • i would like the link to your awesome background also.

    Thanks in advance!

  • Thanks

  • I like your attitude. "The little one is like half a kilobyte, so who gives a fuck, drag it all over" LOL.

Thanks btw. I have the software and I'm gonna try it out since my shytbox comp can't play blu rays >_>"

  • the link to download the application in broken :(

  • @edruiz818 google it. Version 1.10.x is out atm.

  • so you can convert mkv to m2ts and use something like ps3 media server to transfer it n your ps3 will play it?

  • can i have link 4 your background pleaseeee

  • @heera12

    Done!

    Check your inbox

  • assume background. where did u get it?

  • @kamina9090 Sent a link to your youtube email

  • assume?

  • Good tutorial, thanks! I don't think that CPU is the relevant factor to make de/muxing fast. In that case it is rather about hard disk speed. Anyway, tsMuxeR is blazing fast, imho.

  • I also tried MKV2VOB

and its the same, I can't even get the video to load up when I click add files, and click on my file - literally nothing happens. No loading, no error message, just nothing shows up.

It may be my specific .mkv file is fucked, but I can play it on my comp with VLC and it works fine (besides a bit of obvious lag). its a 4.25 GB file....any suggestions??

  • awesmoe video!

I downloaded the program but when I click add and select my .mkv video, it gives me an error message saying "error: can't open stream: "video file name.mkv"

anybody had this problem or know how to get around it?

  • do you really have to swear so much??

  • I'm afraid so

  • With MKV2VOB i have other problem. Its always converting the first 30 seconds only from each movie. I cannot convert a whole movie. :)

  • I used step by step these instructions but i still don't get any sound and subtitles when im playing it to my ps3. Any help pls?

  • Try MKV2VOB instead, it is a far more efficient program. If it is needed I may post a video tut on it soon.

  • once converted can u view it through media server?

i dont want to go in the hassle of burning or putting on memory disc..

  • @SinaProductions Transfering to a memory stick is the easiest option. But I personally use a program called MKV2VOB now instead of this one. It may be possible to do what you need though, unfortunately I dont have an answer for you.

  • im having trouble with the audio format !is it possible to change the audio format with this program?

  • can you play this with PS3 media server without it lagging?

  • My video dont show on my ps3..... the samme happend whit a mkv file who i converted to a mpg file whit mkvT\toVob then it showed on the ps3...

    what to do here?

  • with mkv to vob always make sure that transcode is set to always. sometimes it doesn't want to load all the way. also if you dont get audio click encode DTS

  • I'm guessing that you mean that the file doesn't show on the PS3 but the usb device does. What I did was to make a folder in the device called "VIDEO" and put my sub-folders and videos in there. Then the PS3 recognizes the folder name and your videos will show. Hope this is your problem

  • @TheDazzbox

I used the new version of convertXtoDVD when I converted some MKV tv shows to DVD. It works great. Has lots of useful settings to make the picture and sound great.

If you use MKV files, pm me or go to the website link on my channel

It links to a very special site that lets you upload MKV and stream like youtube using the Divx Plus Web Player.

  • hi i just want to know how i rip the blu-ray dvd to my pc.

  • a blu ray is not a dvd ..

u need a blu ray writer/reader for ur pc which is well pretty expensive!

  • Its clear here folks are having a major problem with the audio, as I too,

I actually want to get these on to DVD discs, and by following another video on here that uses tmuxer, but does them to blu-ray format.

I did a superb "UP",picture but no dam sound.

I'm about to try again with angels and demons, but I'm still convinced the audio settings isn't right in tmxer.

I have full sound set up on ps3 were I can test all of them..first burn of up actually says "no audio" file..IDEAS???

  • @TheDazzbox Google MKV2VOB, this program would do what you want, I have since moved off this program and MKV2VOB does a much better job, look on here (youtube) for videos on how to set it up properly.

  • "If you are planning to stream the movie from an external hard drive to your PS3, then the audio codec must be in AC3 format. If your movie file is mkv with DTS then tsMuxeR does NOT convert the audio for you."

  • Lol he didn't block is product key for Vista

  • how do I keep the subtitles?

  • I can't understand anything you say in this tutorial! It's like you've just woke up.

  • yep

  • there is no sound on my movie please help

  • What for it to shut the fuck up lmfao.. Thanks for this tutorial

  • A bit off topic I know, but yhat is an amazing wallpaper! Anyone know where I could get it from ;-)

  • mkv to vob is an great program to use. Butt their is one draw back if your doing 1080p hd movies it takes an wile and uses you cpu an lot.I have an q6600 and it uses all the cores.

  • I now use Mkv to Vob. Purely because they still update the product.

  • hey thnxz alot but wer u get ur movies thnxz

  • Now how do you get this file onto a DVD-R so you can pop it into the blu-ray player? I'd rather have these on disc than have to carry a thumb drive around.

  • there's no sound on the movie

  • just use multiAVCHD .. complete tool for converting MKV -- Blu-Ray compatible format... and works with PS3 or something...

if the video codec is (AVC1/H.264 or MPEG2 formats) thenyou wont have to wait for long... the process will take 2mins long... with Memu on it... preety amazing cause its really cool.. i can compile my own HD-DVD videos .. and most of it.. it allows subtitles (softsub only) to be display

  • This works fine, exept, when i play the m2ts file i have muxet on the ps3, its only 30 seconds long.

Can you help me with that, i done everything exactly as in the vid so i cant quite understand why it dosent work???

  • Shit my bad, didnt read description. I tried streaming the vid from PC to ps3 and that DONT work, but down on the extern harddrive, it works perfectly. Thank you very very much for your vid man. 5 stars;)

  • plz help me here, i have an mkv file for transformers 1 and i muxed it withh vid 4.1 and i only got 1 file the ts stuff help me out here

  • ok now it works (apparently it won't work if you try to convert more than one file at once which is a real pain but anyways) I put the audio to 4.1 and i'm still not hearing any sound

  • it doesn't work for me either

  • FRIENDS USERS OF PLAYSTATION 3 , NOTE THAT YOU MUST CHANGE THE AUDIO TO 4.1 FROM 5.1 IN ORDER TO GET SOUND!!!!! CAUSE M2TS DOESN'T SUPPORT 5.1 IN PLAYSTATION 3. I WROTE IN CAPITALS SO YOU CAN SEE THAT , IT IS MAJOR IMPORTANT TO DO THAT

    Thank you, George

  • Does every video have to be 4.1, whatever it is in the first place because some videos I have converted with this, even when I put it to 4.1, there is no sound on my PS3, could you explain why this may be, please? Thanks in advance, Elliot.

  • im not getting any audio in my files

  • same here

  • Visit my channel to see how to play MKV on PS3 without any video or audio quality loss!

  • the ps3 can support 5.1

  • no, there was an update. ps3 can now handle dolby digital 5.1 but idk about DTS

  • why the audio don't work when i split the file?

  • if the subtitles are seperated how can they be played??

  • i get some tracks not recognized. this track was i ignored (mainfile.m2ts) i select 720 and dts-HD english as audio. i then do msts and add the 4.1 thing u sed to the h.264 file. i then hit start and get no errors but when i play the file after it has no video (not evan with MatroskaSplitter) in fact this program only says i dnt have a vid sourse when i right click it in the task bar. any thoughts???

  • it doesnt work you fuck !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • man damn just watch the xvid or divx dvdrips they are just 700mb and watchable man! damn 10gb!?

  • lol funny fucker

  • I NEED HELP!!!

    I downloaded: Band.Of.Brothers.HD-DVD.REMUX.1080P.H264.DTS-HDMA.DD51.DualAudio.MySiLU

it look me some time cuz all episodes make up 98.8 GB and every episode is like 11 GB

I used tsmuxer and put the converted files on a fat32 HDD. and connect it to my PS3.

My PS3 played the movie files but its lagging A LOT!! everything goes in slow motion.

WTF is wrong? Any one knows how to fix this??

If the ps3 can play blueray movies, why can't the piece of shit play a ripped blueray file??

  • OR! MKV2VOB can do this for you - more flexible.

  • Im follwing the video but i cant select to change the level to 4.1 !!! The option stays in grey so cant change it !! Any ideas ?? Please help ........

  • Yeh still wont let me do it !!

  • im usign this program but it keeps stoping half way thru (trying atm to do just video then get teh englsih aduio and remux them i gues....) if that oesnt work then im shit ouita luck

  • i've downloaded a film from a torrent and it's come in about 20 rar files and a dozen or so other files which don't have an extension. How do I merge these?

Secondly, when I try to unpack a rar file, it eventually says I don't have enough space, that only NTSC supports files bigger than 4GB.

How do I get round this and how did you manage it?

  • it's NTFS lol, not NTSC......you're probably on FAT32 so you can't

  • haha ur funny yepp it likes to be a dick ! and we dont need no fuckin subs unless we get an acid trip and decide we make our own language ...NOT lmao

  • :( No one really answered my question. When i upload a video to the program i don't get what he gets at 0:35. All i get is the video tab, but no sound. And incase it helps, the video is a 30 minute episode downloaded of the internet.

  • sorry to hear all of the troubles from users. I dont work for the company that created this program and cannot help anyone with their problems as they have yet to hinder my experience. Try emailing them, their address's are in the about tab on the program.

  • the profile for my wall-e is 4.1. cannot get any sound with it.

  • maybe the video had DTS instead of the AC3 as it must have to playback on the PS3

  • anyways, i came to see if anyone was having the same problems as me, tsMuxeR is sending me an error report every time i try n and open an mkv file saying "cant find tsMuxeR or depended library" and another one directly after saying "cant detect stream type" somtimes it will pick up my video file but the audio track is always missing. now usally i would just go use GOTsent or mkv2vob but not a simgle one of them is working!!! WTF!! is going on. anyone having problems similar to this??

  • I cant get any sound. I tried the 5.1 option, but that wont work. Everytime i choose the file the program says " Some tracks not recognized. This track was ignored" The little area where its suppose to show the video, sound, and subtitles only shows the video.

  • thanks i was having no sound either.i need an idea how to get this huge blu-ray movie on my ps3. any ideas? i don't want to split the files that's gay.

  • umm...since your PS3 only support the file system fat32 and not NTFS ...it will not accept files bigger than 4gig. IF IM RIGHT. dont trust me, im not 100% sure. I just think! And i thinks it GAY!

I guess you will have to split it up if you wana watch it from your ps3....its not a big deal realy, is it? Just press triangle and choose play all from the folder or w/e it says.

So you did get sound with 5.1?

  • here's the thing i used muxer for dark knight and i left the original settings on 4.1. and it came out perfect. now wall-e has the same exact settings as dark knight does and i use default settings and 5.1 and there is no sound. it frustrating the fuck out of me right now.

  • if you really REALLY want to watch them from your external you can fromat it to NTFS, and install the linux yellowdog OS and yellowdog will be able to recognize it but be careful, you cant reformat it back to fat32 and your external wont be recognizable when on you ps3 OS

  • hey, i clicked on the link in the description and it doesn't work.

  • This workes just beautiful for my Playstation3. But i only get sound with the moviefile IF i use 5.1 instead of 4.1

So if people are having the problem with the sound....try 5.1 instead :)

    Worked for me

  • got it work on Walle sample but theres no audio...

  • Its not recognizing my audio codec for my movie

    its a LC-AAC audio codec

  • i used mkv2vob to convert a movie onto my hard drive but the sound and the video is off by about 2 seconds... can anyone tell me how to fix this?

  • how did you get your gamertag on the windows sidebar

  • without sounding patronising "google" it.

  • ok i got ts muxer now... is there an easy way to fix it on here?

  • fix?

  • Thanks!

  • dose this work if i put it to a dvd disc using imgburn writing files/folder to disc? HELP

  • yes, there is a disc option on Tsmuxer, it is where you choose the muxing. Im not sure if it is better to choose this option for a disc or just use a dvd as a data disc with the M2TS file on it.

  • will the ps3 be able to read files that are in M2TS muxing or create bluray disc which ive tried and it worked but the picture qaulity of the bluray 720p film was abit blurry and less detail. if i use create bluray disc it in a avhd or avch what ever they call it. WHat would you use in those options man. P.S Wicked video by the way really helped me to learn to do this 10/10

  • the ps3 can read M2TS video files fine, without any quality loss what so ever. However for the matter of transferring the media over to the ps3 is where most people hit a bump. (read the MORE INFO tab to the right of the video)

  • I got a solution for every whos getting troubles with the sound.A dts file would not be able to run by the ps3.only AC3 file can do so.thats the reason you either wanna convert it to an AC3 file or or to use the program mkv2vob which will do it for you.

  • Thanks for the heads up. mkv2vob worked perfectly ot convert the DTS sound to AC3. Cheers.

  • Video works, but I don't get any sound? What am i doing wrong? I changed all the settings like in the video. Set it to 4.1. but just don't hear anything.

  • Are you sure that the profile should be 4.1 ? I left at 5.1 for Planet Earth and PS3 plays it.

  • im just going by what i have heard, if higher values are also handled then go for it.

  • your right :) I tried 5.1 and i get sound:) and the sound is not lagging behind

  • i have a big blu-ray file any ideas how to get it on my ps3? i don't want to split the files either.

  • i have dedicated a large amount of time to this. if you are playing your movies off of your actual ps3 hardrive(internal HDD) then it is possible. you just have to use a media server like tversity or a file server like red kawa file server to get it on your internal HDD. (note:the media server takes about 2 1/2 hours to copy about 4GiB) but if your trying to get it on an external HDD your wasting your time. the ps3 wont pick it up unless its fat32

  • what size is a big blueray file? 10GB?

    Mine are like 40GB...

  • well extracted typically a blu-ray file is a little over 8GB.

  • but the quality is shit...i want full hd

  • thanxs for the reply by the way :)

  • Im not sure what is happening with the video files from the last 3 comment posters.

I have nothing to do with the production of this program and have not found this error yet myself, so do not know how to fix it.

    Try contacting there website.

    sorry guys.

  • Hi thanks for your reply, i found a solution to my problem.

  • got a lil bit of a problem-the video works great but is no sound what can i do about that?

  • got a lil bit of a problem-the video works find but cant hear no sound at all.what could possibly be the problem?how can that be solved?

  • how do i get the video with sound??

  • hi there, thanks for this great vid. i have followed the steps. moved both files into a thumb drive and pluged it into my ps3. i have two files a .meta and a .m2ts file. when i plug it into ps3 it plays the video but with no sound. the image is perfect btw. any ideas where im gng wrong?.. any help would be welcomed. thanks..

  • I've been fuckin around with shity mkv converters for the past 3 days this program is great the audio and video quality remain nearly untouched props for the video

  • no probs, i looked for a good prog for about 2 weeks before i found this one.

    happy to share.

  • hey went through the process and it worked perfectly but like you said in your note the file size was just to big. so i went to the split and cut tab and was given a few options. split by duration or file size. what do you prefer, duration or file size? and if when done will it be in 4-5 seperate parts to where ill have to watch it in different parts instead of all at once? and if thats the case is there anything you know that will put it together?? thankzs :)

  • how big is the file size?

say that you have an 7GB file. since a fat32 memory stick, only recognises single files that are 4gb or smaller it would be best to split this file into something along the lines of 3.9GB this will obviously split a file (of any size) into parts of 3.9GB, since our video is 7 GB this will make the file into two parts which isnt a total inconvenience.

    OR

I also have heard that placing the "single" file into a folder and copying that over to a memory stick works fine.

  • yha, well the file size is just over 4GB but i really dont want to split it up. ive been doing all kinds of research, if you use the right software you can reformat your hardrive to somthing that'l act like an NTFS but will still be FAT32, so its compatible with windows and my ps3 and i can copy any file size i want, as long as the space is there. but still trying to work out the program, its a lil tricky

  • its working...it does not transoced anything in image or sound...so its the real deal...but i need help on subtitles...it does not put the subtitles at all.....can u help me??thx

  • there is a subtitles tab on the program to edit the placement and font e.t.c. on the program so i know at least that it supports them. But i have yet to use them. Are you sure that the media you are using has subtitle data on the file?

If so and still no success, try having a seperate subtitle file in the same folder with the same name and hopefully the program will recognise it.

If this fails i suggest trying forums or their website for assisstance. Sorry i could not be more helpful.

  • Can i do the same thing and burn them to a normal dvd or dual dvd if over 4.7gigs i can only find tsmuxer 1.3.4 the smartlabs website is down or not avalable i dont know why. i noticed an option saying create bluray disc but on ts i cant click on the option as its disselected. Please help me PM please thanks in advanced

  • I got did iron man. The mkv file was 8.37 gigs. I did this and I got a part 1 and part 2. The part 1 is huge like 8.3 something gigs and part 2 is like 300-400mb. I want to burn it on a dual layer to play on my ps3 but when I try to burn part 1 and 2 image burn says its to big. Do I need part 2 or is part 1 the only thing I need to put on the dual layer so I can watch on the ps3.

    Thanks

  • u got the same background i have lol

  • hey man need help urgently i have the movie 300 (1080p) i have change sound to 4.1 and converted it to m2ts and still there no image

  • when you play the file on your ps3, does it say it is corrupt? ps3 cant find it on your memory stick? or the file plays but with a black screen??

  • i done it with mkv2vob but the video image lags in some parts i use tversity to acccess them from ma pc to ps3

  • sounds like it is the original image/file of the media you are trying to play.

either the film has lag on the file which i cannot help you with

    or

maybe you should try copying it to your hardrive rather than streaming this could be causing the lag.

otherwise sorry dude, i cant be much more help

  • where can i download blu ray rips

  • the internetz

  • yup... all you really need is the internet.. and wont ever have to spend money EVER again.. =]

  • top "fucking" guide

  • Tank you very much! I was reading a random guide in google and it only give me the programs but did not say what to do with it. Again Thank YOU!
