Thanks for clarifying, Tina. Of course I knew that the book upset her, but the way I had interpreted that scene, the faraway look was Anna being upset by the poem first. I didn't see Anna/Duke so did not realize the significance of the poetry book to her.
It's not the poem but the PK Sinclair book "Alpine Express" Robin took out of the library to read that Anna is upset about. If you are watching the entire storyline you will remember that Faison wrote this book based on Anna's past life. The poem and the poetry book should bring back happy memories for Anna as it's the first gift Duke gave her. If you look at her closely you can see that happy far away look in Annas eyes while listening to Robin read it. Finola truly is amazing.
