Yeah, this kid is going to be good. As long as he doesnt get hurt and he grows to be at least 6'2, he's going to be hard to tell. It's kind of hard to assess what his future will be like...he'll land as a big school, even if it ain't USC (cause we all KNOW Lane Kiffin ain't even gonna be there in 2015/16)...

At 0:53, after careful examination, he has his x-receiver 18 yards downfield wide open and he has to throw a 27yard fly (from the 24 to the 51) and throws a duck that ends up making the reel because #34 is a monster. I honestly believe that he made the correct read in going to #6, but didnt possess the arm strength to get it there. I know that its one play, and hes 13, but a 27 yard go should be auto if you are getting a verbal to USC at 13.
he has good footwork and can look at tape which is good but i know others that could do stuff like that at his age they just didnt gett all the reconition.

@gatorboyize I just checked out Hunter Boyett's video and i have to say he's got many more weapons then david. Hunter Boyett"s accuracy in his passes while running is excellent and he runs the ball like a pro QB without a worry in the world when he's under pressure, that's a great sign at his age. His maturity is many years ahead aswell as skill, then Davids. It's pretty exciting to see such great prospects for us to see in the NFL hopefully in the future! ;)

You make a good point that the success of the quarter back depends on his receivers, but it can also be said that the success of the receivers depend on the quarter back. You provide no basis to simply say that one is better than the other. You can only directly compare receivers to other receivers, and a quarterback to other quarterbacks, and when that comparison is made, this quarter back really excels.
He has about 7 years before he can think about the NFL..He already has the touch of a seasoned pro....the video shows that....BUT he didn't get hit once that I saw....That will be the true test ...is when he gets his clock cleaned will he keep going..I hope he stays healthy and makes it...
This kid is actually pretty good.. Most football teams can not even throw the ball like that till varsity yet he is hitting kids 30 yards down field without a problem idk if he will make it to USC but he is gonna be a top 100 prospect if he keeps it up
He has an arm, and that will only get better as he bulks up, but he is still rail thin. I don't know if he will ever put on enough weight, or if he will be tall enough. Injuries could be a problem as could be a problem. The most important thing though is his ability to read the defense and go through his progressions. He seems to lock onto a receiver on all of these plays, which is probably designed in the play, but we don't know if he will ever develop that.
The kid looks to have a great arm. With time, he will put on weight. Not to mention he's going to have USC QBs and NFL QBs coaching him the whole way. He's going to get the best conditioning and best coaching in the world. There wouldn't be this much hype if he wasn't the real deal. Good luck kid.

Kid only plays in shotgun formations. Will need to learn to take snaps from under center, as well as learning to work within the pocket.
Also, stares down his receivers too much. Must learn to use head and pump fakes.

The kid lives in Delaware for all we know he's gonna end up to be average when compared to people from Florida or Texas. If he is really that good then he would be getting scholarship offers from TOP teams in the NCAAF

How do I set up a scrimmage with this team? Someone contact me. Our team will be some 7th graders and mostly 8th graders next year. Pasadena Chargers 12U on youtube. Our ages match up except we can't have 14 year olds, but we'll still play. We will come to your field and pay for the refs.

i think its crazy that a 13 year old is commiting to USC and he hasnt even played one high school game yet. which means he is still in pop warner. a little crazy if you ask me

i watched this video and this can can throw, BUT the recievers were better. those were good routes and a quaterback is only as good as his receivers.

You make a good point that the success of the quarter back depends on his receivers, but it can also be said that the success of the receivers depend on the quarter back. You provide no basis to simply say that one is better than the other. You can only directly compare receivers to other receivers, and a quarterback to other quarterbacks, and when that comparison is made, this quarter back really excels.

He has about 7 years before he can think about the NFL..He already has the touch of a seasoned pro....the video shows that....BUT he didn't get hit once that I saw....That will be the true test ...is when he gets his clock cleaned will he keep going..I hope he stays healthy and makes it...

This kid is actually pretty good.. Most football teams can not even throw the ball like that till varsity yet he is hitting kids 30 yards down field without a problem idk if he will make it to USC but he is gonna be a top 100 prospect if he keeps it up

He has an arm, and that will only get better as he bulks up, but he is still rail thin. I don't know if he will ever put on enough weight, or if he will be tall enough. Injuries could be a problem as could be a problem. The most important thing though is his ability to read the defense and go through his progressions. He seems to lock onto a receiver on all of these plays, which is probably designed in the play, but we don't know if he will ever develop that.

The kid looks to have a great arm. With time, he will put on weight. Not to mention he's going to have USC QBs and NFL QBs coaching him the whole way. He's going to get the best conditioning and best coaching in the world. There wouldn't be this much hype if he wasn't the real deal. Good luck kid.

When I first read the story I thought that Lane Kiffin was just being an asshole and trying to make headlines, but once I watched this tape I changed my mind almost instantly. Its obvious that this kid is going to be a D-1 QB, his talent stands out instantly, and hes not throwing to the WR, hes throwing to a spot on the field where the WR can gain yards after the catch.
When you can bring in elite QB's like USC you can afford to take a risk, because what if he kid does live up to the hype..

Wow, the kid does look to have a good arm for his age. But, to be so tall at 13 yrs old, who knows if he has already hit his growth spert or not? I mean, I am 30 years old, 185 lbs, and 6'0". The kicker is that I was the same size in the 8th grade that I am RIGHT NOW. Just not as heavy. I was like 160 lbs then. That was basically why I was such a star in Junior High in Football, Basketball, and Baseball. Then as a Fresh & Soph, I was brought back to earth. Cause I didn't grow anymore.
