Sega really needs to pull their heads out of the gutter and look at SatAM and other classic Sonic material. In my honest opinion this is what Robotnik is supposed be. He is not a buffoon who carelessly releases monsters that betray him and has incompetent minions. He is a cruel villain who is devoid of all sense of morality and sympathy. The only thing he loves is himself and possibly Cluck. Sega needs to stop making their Robotnik look like the AoStH version of Robotnik and more like this.

But the thing is in the games, Eggman/Ivo Robotnik was never that. Even in the Genesis days, it was clear he wasn't some some absolute evil maniac and moreso a selfish manchild with a genius intellect. He wasn't a dominant overlord of most of the world, just an ambitious man who WANTED to be.

I'll always treasure my memories of Satam Robotnik and the Knothole guys, but I'd prefer they'd stay seperate from how the game versions of characters are today.
