@iluvzanimals7 Keep her well-fed and healthy and just wait. GSD ears can go up and down a bit before standing permanently. They should be up by the fifth or sixth month. If not, consult a vet about ear-taping.

I wanna ask the owner what food and vitamins do you give Sam? coz mine I feed Eukanuba while the breeder fed him Beef Pro and he was so thin when I got him so I switched to a more high quality dog food and I gave him LCvit..mine is in good shape now but lacks exercise coz I can't bring him for a walk outside, there are a lot of astray dogs that might attack him that has rabbies so we have him walk during weekends and we drive him somewhere..I like Sam's coat that's why I wanna what dog food.tnx!

@prettybaby2703 try B.G. salmon formula (it's packed with omega 3's which are perfect for the dog's skin and coat and it's what I feed my GSD). It's a pretty high quality food that is grain free. You don't want to feed a German Shepherd too much protein (like in Evo and Orijen), because of their sensitive stomachs. It runs a bit more expensive than Eukanuba, IAMS, Pedigree, etc. but it's worth it because your pup will be healthy!

I bought my GSD 4 mos ago coz I envy your Sam..the breeder asked me how come I wanted a large breed coz I'm female and maybe it will be harder for me to deal with such breed but I said I want it..I want a protection dog not a toy dog..now my GSD is turning 6 mos. in 2 weeks and is really heavy that's why I'm having a hard time lifting him hehehe but I love the breed coz they are so affectionate and has a very good instinct in times of danger..Sam is so adorable..

adult german shepherds are 32-40 kg in good health. 30 kg at the age of sam is obesity, as they're expected to be lean till upto 18 months old (still fragile bones and growing), and considering sams father won australias best looking dog; i doubt it.

Yeah thats right. I followed the breed standard weight to make sure Sam was around the average so that no excess weight was placed on his hips as it will surely lead to hip dysplasia. He's now 16 months old and on his latest visit to the vet he weighed 39kg and with absolutely no signs of hip or elbow dysplasia.

Aggressive!! He doesn't really like other dogs too much, but were training him to be less aggressive. He's only really aggressive on leash and when on walks coz he's so protective.
