  • you guys have my favorite spearfishing videos i love all of them

  • what island is this off of

  • hows the pneumatic gun

  • nice shoting

  • Nice video what type camera you use.

  • @Cubanistico panasonic fx35 for this video. My new videos are a gopro hd with modified lens to fix blur issue.

  • @malaka5150 how'd you modify the lens to reduce the blur?

  • @mockloc The gopro needs to have a flat lens because the curved lens underwater is not in focus. I modified my gopro a while ago with a flat lens. Now, they are selling flat lens for gopro on the internet if you do a search.

  • @malaka5150 whats good game fish there

  • @malaka5150 very nice i live here in hawaii and the reef structure is nothing like florida its very beutiful there im an avid spear fisherman i try to go every weekend i have a 95 cm beuchat marlin with an open muzzle and two 9/16 bands and im thinking about going to florida to spearfish and thats the gun ill be bringing im not going any time soon but im wondering how my gun will perform in florida waters

    p.s. nice hogs

  • @biglu2 I think you could get away with it but a 110cm to 120 would be optimal and leaning more towards the 120 with twin 16mm bands

  • is that a pneumatic gun

  • @biglu2 Yes a pneumatic with a special muzzle that prevents water to enter in muzzle.

  • Nice gun, pussy.

  • wats the rope at 2:14

  • @hoghunter625 that is a plant or part of the reef. That is not a rope

  • Do you know Danny Querro?

  • what island is this off of

  • great video guys

  • those bugs were clearly undersize

  • @slqer Some were but we measure all of them and keep the legal ones.

  • I see you`re not using your Abellen Denton. Why`s that and what do you think of that gun??? Thanks mate

  • @77gerald77 It an older video. The range is 5m on large fish and 6m on small. It is a very powerful weapon with very little recoil.

  • Hey man what key did you spear off of?? and was it Atlantic or Gulf side? Know any good spots in South Florida? I live in Miami. Let me know if you know anything. Thanks! Nice kills btw!!

  • @LoStMaYhEm305 Key West on the Atlantic side. There are some Miami wrecks that are good but deep.

  • Great vid.. :) Your clarity and filming is very smooth, what camera were you using?

  • @OceansElwell In this video I use panasonic fx35 on my gun. I now use a gopro hd camera on my head with a modified correcting lens.

  • Do you have any suggestions as for where i should go? which reef? in the lower keys?

any coordinates? please! i will greatly appreciate it!

  • hey man nice video! I have been freediving for most of my life since i was a kid but I really just started spearfishing like 2 years ago. I learned with a polespear first and got lucky with some red groupers and hogfish and then my buddy showed me a spot on pompano beach for shotting margates under rocks and I really got into it! actually I just got my first speargun which is a JBL 38 special northwest. I looking to go to the keys in search for some game for the first time..

  • nice spearfishing just 1 question on 2:20 how come u didnt shoot the hog?

  • @gopedsrsick hog was too small and its more fun to shoot mangroves. I don't shoot mangroves anymore unless they are massive. I prefer to eat hogs over mangroves.

  • hahahha malaka i have a friend that is greek and he call me like that . hahahhahah nice video and good job .

  • are you greek? Thinking about the nickname Malaka ;)

  • @19leon73 Yes :)

  • @19leon73 LOL - My GF is greek and all I have learned in 13 years from her is swearing ;)

I envy you for the possibilties you have to snorkel and spearfish, it's not legal in Sweden to spearfish. Do you know the laws regarding spearfishing in greece? Creete to be more exact.. Agios Nikolaos

  • can you say PENNEKAMP STATE PARK

  • those barracudas are magnificant....

  • wery good job...i 'm hope go in florida one day

  • Babe, this is a great video!!! Cool!!!

  • 2:21, you let a hog go for a gray??? lol c'mon now

great vid tho, i've been searching for a decent spearfishing video, & this is def an exception, 5 stars

  • great video!!!!!!!!

  • do you ever bend shafts when loading those guns? or do they flex

  • They flex a bit but they don't bend. With poor technique, It's possible to bend.

  • Try avoiding diving with the snorkel in you mouth. when you black out with the snorkel, your mouth and so your lungs are open for water to flow right in.

  • Everyone who i dive with doesn't keep their snorkel in their mouth during a dive.

  • nice shot on the second snapper man, stoned his ass.were those lobsters even big enough?ha.awesome video though dude.

  • We measure every lobster we catch. If they don't make it, we let them go.

  • were those baracuda at the end?

  • looks to me like they are signet aka lesser barracuda, but im not 100% sure, because signet usually have feint vertical stripes on their sides

  • Sweet vid, good footage. Im headin to the keys this weekend to do some spearfishing. I was just wonderin, how long can you hold your breath?

  • Breathhold varies to depth. Here are some times so you get the idea.

    90ft and over usually 1:30 to 1:40.

    50ft and less around 2:20.

  • oh alright.. cool

  • you must have pretty good breathing

  • super cool vid. i love spearfishing best hobbie out theere.

  • awesome video :) also what size gun is that i was thinking about getting a mares 90 and are they hard to load?

  • I think the 130cm airguns are hard to load unless you are really tall. 90cm is easy with good technique. I have a 115cm.

  • finally people who appreciate and respect the sport as much as I do. usually people who take a hog over a mutton just because hogs are easier to shoot. you and I seem to be the only ones who will choose the mutton because they create a better challenge

  • shesh, i hunt to eat and do respect the sport but i would shoot a nice hog way before a nice mutton because i like the taste.

if you spearfish for for challenge YOU ARE SICK

  • to shockertots:

    the above

  • i saw a show where people were eating moray eel in the azores, might be worth a try but dam they look mean

  • those last schools of fish are big sagar minnows or ballyho

  • Great clip, you guys make catching the crays look easy! How deep were you getting the Lobs? Top work , loved the video thanks for posting it!

  • Pretty shallow...30ft or less i think.

  • good job... just a heads up if you were caught with those lobsters you would have had a huge fine. you can only take them during season. good video though.

  • just kidding i may be retarded it was in season... sorry. i am going this summer cant wait! what key were you in?

  • how do you like your cressi3000 fins? i just bought some and haven't had a chance to try them yet.

  • Im not using cressi3000 fins. I think maybe on of my friends are.

  • i have them and love them the 2000 were too stiff for me but the 3000 are amazing

  • LOVE it! Has a little bit of everything. What was that last school of Fish? Cuda?

  • I think its baby cuda, or something closely related.
