  • I just can't take my eyes off to her hands.....beautiful..i wish i can play just like that..

  • You play VERY beautifully :) I salute you !

  • This is awesome, but upon carefully watching each hand, this might be acheivable by me in like 2+months... lol I bet it took her less than one

  • It sounds like the girls mum wrote the description of this video...... suspicious....

  • @xXAnni3LuvsYhuXx The description was other in the past, and the mum had changed it. It was something like "Our daughter plays piano since she was tree and our dream is that the world will watch these videos of her".

  • URGS - Chopin. I hate sad jingles like these. They always give me mental images of thin, emaciated jews in concentration camps.

  • People just have to accept that this may just be fun to her -_- I practice up to 3 hours a day, not to make my parents happy but to make myself happy. I hate it when people just assume based on another person looks. Its disgustingly racist. >:O P.S. Americans can do this too, Almost anyone can play like this. many people are just too lazy to put in effort. -_-

  • Outstanding Polish pianist Chopin ;)

  • It's kind of funny how some people think that being good at something requires the loss of a social life, and a memory-filled childhood. I have to say to those people, you never think that football or baseball or sports geniuses have no life, do you?

  • @timossyturtle Good point, nobody asks the champion football player if he has a life!

  • i play piano too but when i hear this i feel like a dork who doesn't even know where a b flat is.

  • The tempo at 2:04 is so difficult, but you managed perfectly :)

    Well performed!

  • Beautiful <3

  • Maravillosa interpretación de Chopin,Felicidades niña hermosa tocas con mucha sensibilidad.

  • Excellent. It will be tricky to become a famous pianist in the age of virtual music with a thud drum beat, but it's nice to know I'm not the only one aspiring for that =D

  • anyone who can play piano without sheets?im just curious :0

  • 19 people are not people

  • no one feels chopin's music so much as japanese pianists :) excellent!

  • Wow, really amazing.... :O

  • I can't stand it! I couldn't learn this song and she memorized it! She plays it beautifully without any sheet music. Truly amazing,

  • amazing...

  • Beautiful! what song is this?

  • @iLuVmUsIc4evalol it is chopin's valse opus 64 no. 2

  • @hepiimou thanks!

  • UP U GIRL!!!!!!! its awesome

  • i cried watching this. i took piano lesson when i was in 5th grade, after sometime i quit. since then, i regret for quitting. now i have passion for piano but now im too old to learn it:"(

  • @kongkinghuhu your never to old to learn

  • @kongkinghuhu You are NEVER too old to learn! I give lessons to many adults. Adults catch on quicker sometimes than the kiddos. GO FOR IT!!!

  • So wonderful to see a little girl, enjoyed doing something, and so good at it ! Well done indeed!

  • beautiful. just beautiful.

  • I have never seen an eight year old play with such talent! A TRUE MUSICAL GENIUS!!!

  • @TheSweetgrl13 I dont know if she is genius, but Im pretty sure she cried a lot till she got this point. When I was still in Japan 3 years ago, I heard my neighbor screamed at little her 5 years old boy everyday about his piano skill.... he practiced more than 8 hours every day as far as I know. He was amazing about playing the piano, but it was painful to hear "mom I want to go out and play" and he kept crying while playing the piano....

  • I just had to listen again and her delicacy of touch is very impressive. Remarkable!

  • Beautiful interpretation for such a young age! What am I saying? Beautiful interpretation for any age. Lovely performance! I can't wait to hear more from her in the future!

  • I can't even type my keyboard that fast..

  • Extraordinary !

  • וווא איזה כישרון!

  • She plays so beautifully. Who knew such small hands could interpret so elegantly?

  • Wow! How amazing!

  • me gusta

  • She is so GREAT! I also learn that song (20 years old,so old right? Haha...),but I even can't play it that clearly and beautifully . She's really a genius. Salute!!

  • This are times when I wish I could have started piano earlier! :( (Or traveled back in time >:DD)

  • Si bien la ejecución es importante, la sensibilidad también lo es. Y a pesar de ser tan chiquitita, ella magistralmente nos entrega ambos... increíble!!

  • By just listening to it, no one will know it is played by a child!! A young pianist!!:)

  • Awesome Amazing Fantastic Wonderful Wondrous < ok my vocabulary don't stretch any further but you get the point..<3

  • Amazing, thanks for sharing ;]

  • nice pants and amazing player

  • WTB this asian thing :D

  • ohhh I wanna cry nowwww.. I want to play that goooooodddd ,,, everytime i go sit and play the piano and i visualize how perfect i am going to play I suckkk whyyyyyy ... :(.....

  • @lovely3426 hahaha sme here!!

  • If you do not understand that she loves to play piano so much, then you do not understand music at all.

  • Very well done, much better than me after years of trying..........and to all the morons who criticise I suggest they have a good look at their own accomplishments which are probably zero. Lots of children love to play the piano and other instruments and hate playing football and other activities. This is why some children grow up to be musicians, doctors, scientists etc and others remain morons all their life like the ones who leave derogatory comments on here.

  • @marshplumuk I've lived in Asia for 25 years, married to an Asian and have 3 Asian American children. I have personally witnessed many cases of Asian parents pushing their kids TOO FAR just to please their own twisted ego.. Moron, ME, I think not.... Get the facts first..

  • "It is our dream that I get people in the world to listen..." [I] huh? not "we"? What is her dream?.. probably to watch some TV, play with friends and not be forced to practice hour upon hour upon HOUR - to fulfill YOUR dream!..

Fantastic job honey, BRAVO, now go outside and play like a normal kid.....

  • Comment removed

  • its great but shes still asian

  • @gamerz62 fuck you racist! Asians are way better than your race.

  • She has such a fantastic sense of texture, emotion, dynamics and much more... If I was her parent, I would most certainly try to show the world her talents. Bravo.

  • wow... she is so lost in the music... she is gone... :P she is like dreaming :)

  • wow amazing!!!!

  • pure genius!!!

  • Today I learnt to tie my shoelaces, and yes I do feel accomplished :)

  • It's ten past one!

  • ?? ["i don't want to listen to a kid who even can't play outside".]?? Who says that being talented requires one to stop his social life or normal childhood activities? On the contrary, my friend, it`s all about time management, finding the equilibrium between time spent in daily life activities and time spent in piano lessons.Besides, no child will EVER do something he doesn`t want to (if you have ever been one, you know it), so she`s very lucky, as she loves piano & also has fun practicing it!

  • @vantagepoint89 That's not really true you know... You can hear that she has talent but my parents are forcing me to play piano and I really never played outside or had normal childhood activities. They were really forcing me to practice all te time and even though I didn't want to I still did because I didn't want to disappoint them. I can see your point but it doesn't really work that way for everybody. But I'm happy you're defending this girl. I'm sure it means a lot to her

  • @Jenny0747 Actually Vantagepoint89 is correct. She is not forced and has never been

punished for making a mistake. She does love playing piano, and probably loves playing her violin, and dancing Ballet.

I could name several children who love piano just as much. My grand daughter is on of

them. And like this girl, she too started learning piano at 3 years old.

  • @ModelDX1 Yes she is correct about this girl. I'm sure about that!

And yeah I'm sure you know a lot of children who love playing piano but like I said it doesn't work that way for everybody. I was just telling Vantagepoint89 that I

understand the person that didn't want to listen to someone who has been forced to

play piano because I totally agree on that one but I don't think that this person knew that she wasn't forced. That's all I'm saying!

  • @vantagepoint89 wonderful point! I also like you you said it kinda like Sherlock Holmes might have... "On the contrary, my dear Watson..." lol

  • @vantagepoint89 Partially you are right, but allow me not to agree with you about "no child will ever do something he doesn't want to". It isn't true, but depends on the country you live in and its culture. I'm sure that an average Asian kid will do what his parents tell him to do, even if he doesn't like it. I don't think the lovely girl above is kind of this kid, but most of Russian kids for example, in age of 5 are "tortured" by the violin or piano...I was that kid!

  • why does it always have to be asians.....

  • @CookiessNeedMilk ''western'' parents just don't have the ability do make their kids work hard. that's why.

  • @sinizky To quote: "...kids work hard..." Well buddy, that is because we have laws about child labor.. and we believe in letting kids be kids.

  • and she hates this tune and i love it !

  • :D my sister can play this and she is eleven :D

  • Watched all the YouTube clips of her since she's 5 yrs old, really enjoyed the way she play, though I am not learning music..she's amazing, talented!

  • @paddler16: i don't want to listen to a kid who even can't play outside

  • ...of course she's Asian.

  • Nice~

  • I love it. Especially since she mastered 0:52 to 2:20. That part always pained me. I mastered it, but I still have still have trouble every now and then. Excellence. only two mistakes: 1:45 and 3:05. Honestly, considering her age, the difficulty of the song, and so few mistakes, I don't know what to say. If I only noticed two mistakes, that says a lot, considering I pick out many more in adults (lol sometimes 6 mistakes).

  • :') simply fantastic!! great! i love this track...and she played it like noone! absolutely fantastic.. :)

  • i think i do the movements that go into a song sometimes without a thought and i think it has to do with the melody of the song sometimes or to bring majesticness to the song of courese tell me you guys think about this cool mmovement

    Fellow Asian:)

  • i love this play (style)

  • like this, been viewing this few times.

  • 20 people are very 1jalous they want to have this nice talent of this young girl

  • wau como un perro

  • She plays awesome!!! But I hate that pianists always move their arms like that!! I really hate it!!!

  • @JOELALVARADO95 yes, she plays amazing!! but I hate it too that they always move their

    arms like that! hahaha

  • Off to search for bonadinas comment now...

  • Amazing ! I prefer her execution rather than the' hurried up' version that the 'masters' do. I am listening to this several times a day ! Bravissima!

  • does she read music or does she just learn by ear?

  • QUE MARAVILLA!

  • thank you for playing this beautiful music. You are great....

  • Incroyable !! cette petite fille est un génie !! sans partition, et avec tout son coeur!

    Bravo !!!

  • wonderfull really wonderful exellent i couldt speak when i saw this video

  • How can people dislike this? It doesn't make any sense to me.

  • 8 years old, Chopin, no metronome, no notes? Sheer musical genius.

  • @BrandieWells I wouldn't say no metronome but the feel that she played with.. others can play like a robot without metronome too :D all the tempo and volume variations makes the whole piece very peaceful to listen to

  • @BrandieWells yeah shes really good, but wouldn't that be muscle memory from practicing so much?

  • name of the piece is Valse in C# Minor, Op. 64, No. 2

  • which waltz is this?!

  • i can haz dis child?

  • What is the name of this Waltz of Chopin ???????

  • AMAZING!

  • Asian is a god.

  • sehr gut das mädchen !!! schön das ich nochnichtmals noten lesen kann :D

  • never seen anything like it. this child is the confirmation that everything is possible, just want it!

  • When I saw the title of the video I was kinda "Oh, another asian piano player?" but when I listened to her I felt sorry for what I thought. She plays so professional and passionate. I hope she will be discovered. At her age she has a very soft touch that is rare even at some high school pianists.

  • I feel like loving her! Parents, I think ur proud, so, please, keep ever, always proud, becouse every time someone listen to that, this cute little girl is making a soul happy. I really mean tha. Trust me. She brought me light today. I wish her the best.

  • wonderful :) my ears love you!

  • Impresionante !!! divana !!!!

  • This would be amazing enough were she reading this music from a score but she has memorized this. Truly a child genius.

  • Very talented

  • Chopin music is very difficult to play... I'm 15 and i have only just started on a song by Chopin.

  • congratulation

  • A hauntingly beautiful piece played by a tremendous little talent! See how she feels the music and connects it to her emotions...Wahhhhh, I'd pay to see this in person!

  • Bravo!

  • May I know what's the name of this piece of music? It's so beautiful.

  • LOL.... This made me become sour grape ... :(

  • oh, there are again 12 guys who think they can do much better...

but i really gotta say: you're doing absolutely amazing! wow!

  • Wonderful!

  • OUCH !! F-A-N-T-A-S-T-I-C

So mature playing for her age.

    Congratulations to her teacher too.

  • Incredible! I can listen to this whole day every day.

  • OH GOD! That was amazing!!!!!! *sniff**sniff*

  • meh. hey us non-asians cant help but be jealous. dont mind us. maybe theres a better market for non-asian pianists since theyre so uncommon

  • Of course she's Asian

  • Oh, shes asain. Nothing special

    Moving on.

  • @HaleyBabii3 lol, i would think that was a compliment to asians ;D

  • @HaleyBabii3 You might want to move on to spelling "Asian" correctly.

  • where is the standing ovation at the end of the movie?!

  • and think she memorized that o.o

  • Op. 64 n.º 2, C sharp minor, F. Chopin dedicated this waltz to madame Nathaniel de Rothschild in 1847 as an acknowledgment of the many years of support extended by Baron James and his wife Betty ( her parents), referring to her as: Madame la Baronne Nathaniel de Rothschild, whose name was Charlotte.

  • I LOVE IT!

  • this is amazing!

  • @hamiltonrrw wow....all i said is that she's jap, i didn't mean anything else, i just wanted to clear that fact that not all chinese ppl are as talented as her...i'm not even CLOSE to being as talented as her, and i'm...four years older ...i think...i didn't mean ANY "disrespect" what so ever.....How "She's jap" come off as disrespectful to you....i have no idea...so before you you....lecturing someone about that, get you facts right please.

  • I FEEL SO DAMN STUPID... LIKE I HAVE (COMPARED TO HER), THE IQ OF A CARROT...

  • I am instantly dispelled. You brought a 48 year old man in tears. Keep the joy of playing and you are going very well. Thanks for what you have shown.

  • So much passion! God bless you for showing us the beautiful face of the world!

  • she lets other people feel her passion. nothing like i've seen before.

  • If I close my eyes and listen to this, I can believe that it was played by a little girl.

    God bless her.

  • small hand cant make a speed at this song.. but every feeling things are so perfect ..

  • 10 people who dislike this video are eitherhave no feeling nor indiferent about music nor are they able to appreciated a talented child

  • That is amazing.

  • Anyone know this young lady's name?

  • @sunsing1 I don't know her real name, but her mother call her Sora in her blog written in Japanese. Sora means sky.

  • @ishiinbr

    Thanks, that actually helps(:

  • wohoo it's realy Amazing ... 0.0

  • Amazing ! Why do we give kids video games when we see what they can do with musical instruments !

  • Rock on!

This young girl is so going to become a star one day. Better than Lang Lang!
