  • MINCED MEAT IS SHIT

  • It's looks nice. Yummm

  • This doesn't make any sense, why put the pot with the sauce in the oven? Just cook it on your stove as any italian does. Second, oil in the boiling water? Never seen such a thing. Wash the pasta is out of discussion and finally the original recipe require milk and no oregano, garlic or pepper although I like sometimes to put some of them in the sauce.

  • NO OIL IN THE PASTA

  • yummmmmmmm

  • I just use a jar of ragu and call it a day

  • a "sprinkle" of cheese?

  • Step 11... Take a giant shit

  • step 11:------->>>> Let's EAT..!!!lol

  • This is horrible way of making the bolognese sauce. You English are cooking wrong way and too much fat

  • OMG Why do you cook the sauce in the oven? You have to cook it gently for long times on the stove.

  • Never EVER add olive oil in the water of the pasta!!!

  • HOLY SHIT... BLEAH

  • Hey! thats not spaghetti thats linguini? lol XD

  • THAT LOOKS DRY

  • Bologna = northern Italy

  • Speghetti Bolognese is a ragout, developed in the city Bologna in western Italy. Ragout means: Better let it cook on the plate than bake it in the oven. It needs to cook for something around 1,5 - 2,5 hours. Closed - so the water can't volatilize.

  • This recipe is not that bad - but some construcitive criticism:

    1. NEVER do oil in the pasta-water or on the pasta itself. What makes it smoothe, is the sauce. And let the pasta be a little wet after the cooking. It helps it to connect with the sauce. Oil has an own taste and this taste belongs in the sauce only.

    2. Use fresh herbs, not that industrial dried stuff.

    3. NEVER ... NEVER use already grated Cheese. Buy real Parmigiano.

    4. When cooking it in the oven, close the pot - or it will be dry

  • I see that a lot of people are dissatisfy with this recipe and I think that you guys should not say all these mean comments because people have their own ways of doing their food. We should just appreciate how he let us know his opinion of doing spaghetti Bolognize, if you do it differently then ok good for you, if you don't like it then don't do it. Stop criticizing other culture on how they should not do it because anybody can do it, c'mon guys its only food.

  • oil in the water is not necessary at all!!!!! it just swims on the top of the water.

    you really dont need it.

    nice video!! :o) well done.

but I think too, that the sauce looks a little bit dry!?

    I´m hungry :o)

  • that pasta looks like it sat in the sink for an hr before it was put into the bowl. and the sauce looks like it has no juice at all.

  • Step 165 poop out the Bolognese, step 166 wipe your ass carefully

  • @maxlarsen LOL!

  • Step 11: eat!!, wow ( everything u do is a step here)

  • Ghastly.

  • you fail

  • british people really dont know how to BROWN food... or cook for that matter

  • What a waste of olive oil!! you supposed to ad salt in the boiling water not oil, there is no sauce in the ragu either.

  • can we just leave the pork and bacon

  • this is shit man not bolognese's ragu!

  • thats NOT bolognese !!!!

besides, why the in it ??!!!!

  • To be honest it look delicious, but its not spaghetti bolognese...

  • If that feeds 6 people, that makes me worth 4. Is he calling me fat? :(

  • @tangypasta Same. This Video is totally Missleading. and hes skanky with the portions.

  • @tangypasta no, maybe you're just hungry :-)

  • i dont want any pork

  • If you come to Bologna, people could kill you ! Horrible ...

  • Here are some mistakes I've found:

    1) You start a sauce with vegetables, not meat.

    2) You don't bake Bolognese.

    3) You never wash pasta or mix it with olive oil, even if you want to serve it later.

    3) You don't just ladle the Bolognese over the pasta, or the flavors of the sauce won't get into the pasta.

  • terrible

  • No offense friend but you cant even boil pasta properly. Never add oil in water. it coats the pasta and then the sauce doesnt stick to the pasta.

thanks for the effort but i will not be using this recipe.

  • GET OUT NO WAY.

that is not how you make bolognese!

    god dammit, stupid people -.-

  • I absolutely hate carrots in the bolognese sauce :(

  • no mushrooms, no peppers!:(

  • Looks disgusing bro

  • for the REAL RECIPE: NO OREGANO NO BACON NO PARSLEY!!!and please cook less the pasta(in your video spaghetti looks like GLUE)from Italy.

  • AND NOT JUST A RECIPE

  • The Beef used in this looks bloody nasty!

  • omg im so glad most of us on here are thinking the same thing...

  • NICE

  • ...to find a different recipe!!

  • This is the absolute WORST bolognese recipe I have ever seen! Firstly, that whole "add your beef little by little so it cooks evenly" is ridiculous. It makes no sense whatsoever! If you add half the beef, cook it, then add the second half, once the second half cooks the first half will be dry and over cooked! And secondly, its dry beyond belief! As someone had accurately pointed out, it's just meat and pasta!

Due to the max length of a comment I can't point out everything, but everyone needs t

  • bacon wrecks the whole recipe

  • @ydowefight4islam BACON NEVER WRECKS ANY RECIPES.... :)

  • FOR A REAL SPAG BOL SAUCE, GO HERE!

    youtube.com/watch?v=WtelBKJR8iw

  • That sauce is far too dry, infact its just dry meat and dry pasta. Yak! You need 2 tins of tomatoes in there! And cook on the hob for at least an hour.

  • who bakes spaghetti....

  • @LinenRose

    They're only baking the sauce.

  • @StarleePie47 i meant the sauce lol(:

  • his voice ugly! lol

  • Feel like I'm watching a science experiment rather than cooking.

  • This is terrible. The English should not be allowed to attempt to cook italian food.

  • @ewhi1 i agree the presentation doesn't look good and he might of added other ingredients in, however everyone cooks how they want to and persionalize the dish, but it is not fair for you or ANYONE to say english should not cook italian food!! So fuck you!

  • @ewhi1 LOL it's true (even thought i am english

  • @ewhi1 trust me this is not how we do it in my house.

  • @ewhi1 It is terrible. However, there is no need to generalise the whole nation. Just say this particular person should not attempt to cook italian food.

  • @ewhi1 unless there half italian

  • @ewhi1

    Tell that to Gordon Ramsey.

  • @ewhi1 Wow i think thats a bit stereotypingl. Ive never cooked Spaghetti Bolognese that way. So please dont say English should not be allowed to cook Bolognese...

  • @ewhi1

    Oh get over it.

  • @ewhi1 lol! It's not even a real dish, it should be tagliatelle bolognese!

  • @ewhi1 There are some exceptions. Like I think 5 english people are allowed to cook italian food.

  • @ewhi1 are you american?

  • this is the first spaghetti Bolognese recipe i have ever seen where you put the source in the oven

  • Sono italiano... questi non sono SPAGHETTI alla bolognese. Questa 4:44 è MERDA allo stato puro!

  • WHAT THE HELL IS THIS?

  • I m italian and you don't know how to do bolognaise !!! I fuck your mother !

  • THE CORRECT WAY TO MAKE BOLOGNESE

    yellowsaffron's channel is AUTHENTIC italian

  • What?? Beef? Bacon? And you can't cook ragù in the oven, you have to cook it on stoves!! You are ruining italian food.

  • to serve bolognese sauce with spaghetti is just an insult to Italian people, especially to the Bologna people. Bolognese sauce is always served with thick pasta like tagliatelle

  • step 11.. fkn bin it

  • wata load of ole donkey cack that looked. dont give up day job..

  • too many things.. fuck off..

  • step 10 - serve "LOL"

  • @maryamxx1 LOL

  • yes too many ingredients, therefore, you only taste a few....bacon, tomatoes and one of the spicy items might take over...therefore, it could be much more simple and tasty.

  • heyy its too much ingrdient =.= y dun u just buy one prego, one tomato puree , n minched beef.then cook it together n boil the speggathi ..then DONE !

  • Let the british cook breakfast!!!

  • Hey guys this is lookin good, but at guckmalwerdakocht.de are some better recipes and there you can have your own cook show ...like Jamie Oliver x'D

  • I'm sure it tastes OK but this is not Bolognese

  • @flightdeck4u What is bolognese? I's like to know.

  • *barfs

  • i dont think i like prok and beef and bacon alltogether, i like it either beef only

  • no mate this is how you make it

1)Make sure it's your dolmio day

    2) cook mince until it turns into a nice brown colour

    3)add in dolmio sauce

    4)mix well

    5)place in oven stir occasionally

6)add pasta to boiling salted water

7)take out the mince and serve with spaghetti on a plate

    8)eat.

  • Oh mio diooooo...uccidetelo!!!

  • I see quite a few people are criticizing this video. Did any of you actually attempt to make this sauce by following the video's instructions? I did and it tasted fantastic. True it may not look that desirable or that calling it a bolognese sauce isn't politically correct but it was really tasty; I strongly recommend people attempt this method.

  • @Skafman

    Agreed

  • Bolognese Sauce and Spaghetti is a combination that doesn't exist in Italy and by the way origano (Why "orEgano"?) and parsely is your own invention...Grets from Rome.

  • looks sooooooo dry!! when I read the other comments I told myself "it can't be THAT bad" but man is this bad...

  • It looks like disgusting slop. I would never dream of following this recipe yet alone tasting it. Carrot and celery bring the wrong flavours to a pasta dish which is then camouflaged with red wine. Oh! and what about the olive oil? If you're going to use simple olive oil i.e. the oil from the third pass/crushing instead of extra virgin (the first pass) you deserve all the nasty flavours skimping on little things like that will do to your recipe.

  • spaghetti bolonaise is not even an italian dish. It's like Ceasar salad, it doesn't exist in Italy, it's an international dish available everywhere in the world except in Italy Normally bolonaise sauce will resemble a bit the Italian ragu alla bolognese(from Bologna) but we use the fettuccine instead of the spaghetti and it is called "Fettuccine al ragu' alla bolognese"

  • Please rename the title to Bolognese for Dogs

  • the cooking method is wrong, where is the butter? Looks dry & bland..

  • The cooking method is wrong, looks totally dry & tasteless..

  • Dude, this looks awfull !!! I guess the right title of this video is : How NOT to make

    spaghetti Bolognaise.

  • ma che schifezza!

  • this is not bolognese sauce. Please, call it meat sauce only.

Where did you find this recipe?

    This is not italian food.

There are a lot of cooking mistakes.

    Greetings from Tuscany!

  • @ferrino100 Agreed. Like you pointed out, there are lots of cooking mistakes. And as others have said, it DOES look like dog food. But I'd love some tips on how you cook it, or how it should be done authentically since you're in Tuscany (I envy you).

  • carrots make sauce taste awful

  • i will say this calmly carrots are not meant to go in bolegnese

  • @liamxboxgeek yes they are

  • Excellent sir , thank you

  • i'm Italian, and i'll NEVER eat this crap! this is not ragù, this is not a italian food!!

  • fcukin' disaster mate!

  • Should have added cream or milk and cooked the pasta al dente and add the pasta to the meat sauce in a sauce pan so the pasta can get coated with the sauce. And Never NEVER NEVER run water over pasta. It removes all of the starch which is what the sauce needs to bind to.

  • ahhaha boloxnese

  • @bacderoda To stop the pasta sticking together!

  • Why do you put olive oil into the hot water? What is the objective?

  • @bacderoda it gives extra flavour and stops the spagethis from sticking together.

  • step 10 is serve...lol

  • A bit retarded to put bacon into this -__- ...

  • spaghetti alla Bolognese doesn't exist in Italy. It's a pure invention of foreign countries. We never use spaghetti with ragu' cause it' s a unpleasure combination.

Try to cook ragu' with fettuccine or lasagne combination you'll understand the difference.

  • @milly8389 plus remember the italian cousin is simple with few and fresh ingredients. We dont' use oil in the water boiled and we dont' put the souse in the oven. Come to italy to tast the real ragu' with fettuccine all'uovo lasagne cannelloni and so on..Never spaghetti though.

  • why am i eating Spaghetti Bolognese and watching a video of someone making eat ?? im so weird

  • Or, if you're hungry NOW. Fry some chopped onions, stir in some mince and a small tin of chopped tomatoes (but not the actual tin itself), boil some spaghetti in a different pan until it tastes right, drain it, throw in a lump of butter and stir the spaghetti about once it's melted (to stop it sticking together), pour the bolognese into the spaghetti pan, add parmesan if you can afford it, and eat the meal out of the pan with the stirring fork (to save on washing up).

  • No No No

  • prepared completely incorrectly. always cook the pasta and sauce together. that pasta looked cold and stuck together.

  • ive never seen pork in bolognese before.. interesting

  • this recipe was useless im muslim

  • @brewster11ify I don't care

  • @brewster11ify Useless to you not to others, there's always alternatives, how about if you take this as inspiration and you can be creative with substitute of ingredients? Turkey bacon is quite something to consider ;) i think thats more positive way to see it.

  • @mongrelmob100 you're a total jerk ..what do you know about italian dishes?and yeah i am half bulg half italian my mother comes from Agrigento ,but you-re so stupid end even don't know where it is.btw have you ever been there.. i just rate you not to go down there cause pepole will laugh at you if you start taeching them...you should have a lil bit more respect ..how i respect your music rolling stones beatle.. you british guys really make the best music, but you don't have the rights to teach me

  • @mongrelmob100 Right back at you

  • @mongrelmob100 I go wherever I want whenever I want (in your country, stealing your jobs), u jelly?

  • @mongrelmob100 LOL U SO MAD. Deal with it, all I read is the whining of a whiny insecure bitch. :)

  • that sauce looks like dog food -.-

  • too much and too many diff kinds of meat, no good

  • @mongrelmob100

    >Implying all of Bulgaria consists of Gypsies

    >Implying he is not ignorant of Bulgarian Achievements

    >England World Cup 2010 (Big achievement imo)

Stop being a whiny bitch, this is indeed British rubbish.

  • @mongrelmob100.... just for information my friend i am half italian, and not livin' in bulgaria... so shut your fucking mouth up alright?

  • this is not the right recipe.. this is british rubbish

  • This looks bland and boring.

  • nice buddy

  • Cool. Probaly tons of italian chefs disagree with this approach but it is rather tasteful...moreoever the author never stated this was/is 'the' way to do it. There is no such thing.

I had problems understanding step 10 hough...just kidding, nice video!

  • these comments are hilarious. almost every single one is essentially, "it's a-me, a-mario, and i'm-a here-a to tell-a you, you no make-a the bolognese RIGHT"

it's food, you clowns. not rocket science.

  • @patchworkfuckface

    finnaly someone who gets it

  • @patchworkfuckface Get fucked patchworkfuckface if you think cooking is so fucking easy. There is a major difference between fine dining and the dog slob you probably make.

  • @kahlschlag17 lmao. it's still only food, mate. it nourishes us and allows us to live, but aside from that, it has little importance.

and that said, i think it's almost equally absurd and hilarious that recipes are so important to pretentious fuckwits like yourself, while a piece of week old bread would make the tens of millions who die of starvation every year salivate painfully.

  • it doesn't even look tasty

  • Don't name it alla Bolognese cause in ITaly it doesn't exist spaghetti alla Bolognese . It exists ragu' alla Bolognese and we use it with all the kind of pasta just except spaghetti. Then learn to respect the original dish. You can name it only american dish not Bolognese or Italian cause it's far away from the original.

  • What is this?? A Playschool recipe??

    Serve "Bolognese" the italian way.

First come the onions and garlic - simmered on a hot pan.

THEN COME the other ingredients - NO TOMATO PUREE .

Diced tomato infused with a touch of vinegar AND a table-spoon of wine.

This is how we make "true bolognese" in my native Sicilia.

  • PLEASE TAKE NOTE: The Spaghetti alla Bolognese don't exist

  • Holy f**k...I pity whoever tries this recipe!

  • @FatRonaldo9 just cause its not traditional dosnt mean it wont taste nice

  • though i'm from germany and yet have to learn a lot to get the original, THIS is an assault to everyone -.- this bolognese is just wrong. i dont even want to comment about the oil in the spaghetti water.

  • Gordon Ramsay's recipe is better...

  • oh come on dude i know i'm going to need a colender! i'm making spaghetti!!!!
