All this discusion, the MK 9 story mode clears it up preaty much for every character. I do hope in the secuel that sub-zero is returned to his human form somehow by the elder gods or something, most of the characters died in the story mode of the game, they must be restored somehow for the secuel. Couse the secuel from what i know has to be somehow linked to the story of MK 4 , couse thats where shinok turns up, and there sub zero is human.

Note - The narrator states 'when Bi-han was unjustly murdered by Scorpion' . He is referring to the fact that Scorpion lost twice to Bi-han a.k.a. Noob Saibot the original Sub Zero. Their first encounter; it was inevitavble that they would fight each other. Bi-han won because he was stronger. But Hanzo was revived as Scorpion- and lost again. He was revived twice- meaning augmented twice. So Scorpion is not that badass. After winning twice you'd be fed fighting an enemy who won't give up.

No the reason it states he was unjustly murdered is because Scorpion killed to avenge his ninja clan, his wife and child; he believe Sub-Zero to be their killer, when he was actually innocent. If Scorpion had killed Sub-Zero over Scorpion's own death, it might have some amount of justice. Also some the points you made seem vaguely similar to other MK narratives rather than the actual stories of the video games, such as the old novel by Jeff Rovin or the ever craptacular Malibu Comics.

But the narratives, the novel and the Malibu comics are the original and accurate stories. The game stories are not the accurate ones. They are simply adjusted for the games. Even click search the "Mortal Kombat wiki" website- and read about the Linkuei and the Shirai Ryu clan. it tells you you everything; even Bihan and Hanzo's true history

No the games' are the original stories (in terms of being Mortal Kombat that is), the novel and comicswere inaccurate as hell. Ex: In the novel Scorpion is a combination of a man named Young Park and the body of his son Tsui Park. In the In Malibu comics, here are two good ones: For MK, we rarely see the tournament. For MKII, Sub-Zero is still alive, when in the true game story it is the younger brother. While MK wikia probably has some reliable info, don't believe everything you read

However there 3 accurate comics, but they are Midway mailaways not Malibu ones and none of them support what you said. the first time you mentioned Scorpion being augmented twice. His wasn't augmented again until Sub-Zero had been dead for years, which was at the Elder Gods' bidding. He won because he mastered his enhanced body and Sub-Zero was most likely overconfident.

I had the midway official midway magazine back in the 90s that stated Scorpion falling under the hands of Bi-Han twice. The first fight was death. While the second fight he was beaten so badly that he eventually passed out under the hands of Bi-han. Yes the malibu comics are incorrect. but the story on wiki is fairly accurate. Bi-han only murdered Scorpion incoldblood, not his family or clan because he was stronger

Yes but Scorpion believed he did. For Sub-Zero's victory, he won due to the skill over his powers and he had a lot motivation to keep him going. When he killed Scorpion, (aside from his nature of not sparing anyone) he had tthe motivation of obtaining the map or risk death as punishment. When he fought Scorpion in the prison hell, he had the motivation of knowing that if he failed to obtain the amulet, everthing he ever knew could die, where as everything Scorpion cared about had died

Sub Zero killed Scorpion, and Quan Chi rewarded him by destroying Scorpion's family and clan. Scorpion was revived as the power wraith ninja, and faced Sub zero again when he was on another mission- but he lost again. It was until the first mortal kombat that he finally killed Sub-zero a.k.a Bi-han now known as Noob Saibot
