I saw NIN at the first Lalapalooza and they kicked ass. They were one of the best bands on it and they had there lights and shit. So unless youve seen them at every festivol then shut up but iam guessing your about 12 so you dont know they did the first lalapalooza and kicked ass also the woodstock show was amazing that they played so its not them.

Just wondering when you first heard of NIN Anemone7777? For me it was when I was reading Marilyn Manson's biography 'Long Hard Road out of Hell' and I found out that Manson toured with NIN. I gave Trent's band a go and I discovered that he's just as much as a musical genius as Manson. Not to mention I'm probably one of the younger fans. I'm only 23(24 in April.).
Well, I guess it'd have to be back a couple years ago when my friend was recommending bands to me... One of them just happened to be Trent! At first, i wasn't to crazy about Closer (the song everyone loved) but then I just ran to the store and picked up the first NIN album I saw: Year Zero. Oh my god u like Manson!!? yay!! I am almost done getting all of his albums! In my opinion is Mechanical Animals and Antichrist Superstar were his greatest works...
I understand them fuck that! playing with no lights at all is like walking naked on the street in NY that uncorfatable that would feel specially for NIN they are so visual and everything is a complement great music, graet light, great video clips. It's not the German's fault it was some cheap mother fucker that wanted to make more money as usual fuck that guy should be killed.
It is truly amazing how much Trent is dedicated to his craft. I have never seen any artist put more passion into their work. He is an inspiration to us all.
It makes sense when your up there and you have done so much for the fans who paid hard earned money that when things fall apart by no fault of your own that it feels so overwhelmingly useless and the sound is bad and basically I see the destruction aimed at the producer who should have been under the smashed equipment. i know what you are trying to say, but once it all comes down to it the guitar companies got their money and did their part, it's up to the musician on how it gets treated. it's also what trent reznor does if you are not familiar with his live performances, he has a more "graceful" way of destroying stuff. the retard with the red tampon hangin out his back is not part of NIN, just another expendable one of the many expendable guitarists trent has had. trent reznor is NIN and always will be.
Nine Inch Nails destroys it's gear because it can afford to do so, this doesn't bother the instrument companies because it means that they get more money and they get to push more models out of their warehouse. That's what it all comes down to: gear is made for a profit and then sent off for 30 years of loving or an untimely devise after a show. Even the trashed instruments will get sold for a high price on eBay and will become a prized addition to someone's personal rock museum.
That "retard with the red tampon" in his back pocket is Aaron North, and he's quite the showman. So don't bring him down because he breaks his guitar at the end of the show. Deal with the Townsend factor, don't damper it.

Generally from what I hear (from NIN members and other bands) instruments that get destroyed are almost always the cheap ones.
JMJ & Aaron have stated that they leave their "babies" at home because a NIN show is not the place for a prized guitar.

You have to understand, though, how much work it must take to so meticulously plot out the lights, timing, etc, to set the mood and everything... Then they get there, and fuck all if they don't have the rug pulled out from under them.
The show was all planned based on the idea that they had certain things to work with, you know?

I don't care if it's pitch black and you have to bang on an acoustic guitar and drums, I would go see that concert. Your fans enjoy a light show and a great sound quality, but just to see a show is awesome.

Just wondering when you first heard of NIN Anemone7777? For me it was when I was reading Marilyn Manson's biography 'Long Hard Road out of Hell' and I found out that Manson toured with NIN. I gave Trent's band a go and I discovered that he's just as much as a musical genius as Manson. Not to mention I'm probably one of the younger fans. I'm only 23(24 in April.).

Well, I guess it'd have to be back a couple years ago when my friend was recommending bands to me... One of them just happened to be Trent! At first, i wasn't to crazy about Closer (the song everyone loved) but then I just ran to the store and picked up the first NIN album I saw: Year Zero. Oh my god u like Manson!!? yay!! I am almost done getting all of his albums! In my opinion is Mechanical Animals and Antichrist Superstar were his greatest works...

I understand them fuck that! playing with no lights at all is like walking naked on the street in NY that uncorfatable that would feel specially for NIN they are so visual and everything is a complement great music, graet light, great video clips. It's not the German's fault it was some cheap mother fucker that wanted to make more money as usual fuck that guy should be killed.

It makes sense when your up there and you have done so much for the fans who paid hard earned money that when things fall apart by no fault of your own that it feels so overwhelmingly useless and the sound is bad and basically I see the destruction aimed at the producer who should have been under the smashed equipment. Why should trent trust in anything. Look what happens! I might have refused to play, but then its the fans. You don't want to fuck them over. Get it?

They're just sticks with electronics in them, those guys should not have played and all those people there that [paid for tiks. got screwed out of having the show the NIN wanted to give them. you all are more concerned about the way the guitarist treated his gear than what you should really see was that , the promoter charged working people the most he could to see what could have been something amazing but instead he tried to cut corners and spend as little as he could to do it,shame,go trent!

i know what you are trying to say, but once it all comes down to it the guitar companies got their money and did their part, it's up to the musician on how it gets treated. it's also what trent reznor does if you are not familiar with his live performances, he has a more "graceful" way of destroying stuff. the retard with the red tampon hangin out his back is not part of NIN, just another expendable one of the many expendable guitarists trent has had. trent reznor is NIN and always will be.

Nine Inch Nails destroys it's gear because it can afford to do so, this doesn't bother the instrument companies because it means that they get more money and they get to push more models out of their warehouse. That's what it all comes down to: gear is made for a profit and then sent off for 30 years of loving or an untimely devise after a show. Even the trashed instruments will get sold for a high price on eBay and will become a prized addition to someone's personal rock museum.

It's, like, the worst insult. They produce a great show, prepare it all, just to find that the guys in Germany fucked it up. Same kinda thing with the Frequency Festival in Salzburg - fucked up schedule, ending up playing before some bullshit German band "Die Ärzte". I always hated Die Ärzte, they suck so bad. But I didn't know that their fans are a million times as worse.
Those are bad incidents that shouldn't get in the way of the tour.
