...but the sad thing is, that the country pride gets yourselves killed... and to serve in a senseless war to die a senseless death isn´t really smart, because at home you guys have wives with kids and that´s what matters. any other war i am thankfull for the army..but not if there isn´t any sense to it..some people in some countries just dont want to live in de 21th century..let them be. ..besides that: i love this song!!!

Having been there, I also have never heard better words for the reason I could leave my family behind to serve. Because her arms are home, and the fear of harm coming to her is what drove me to protect her. While I had trouble walking when she finally saw me, those shaking trembling arms felt more secure than anything I can imagine. And those arms are the ones that gave me the strength to walk again, holding her by my side, so I could feel them around me once more. Solid and warm with love.
