Sure you can make some nice effects with digital pads but digital amp-pedel sounds are usually chunky and scattered.

Then there's also the MXR ZW44 which is pure shit but that's an overdrive distortion pedal.

I think digital Wahs are horrible as well as digial distortion. let me say, it sounds great in a pedalbox with other pedals and such but a digital pedal alone is BAD--never have a digital pedal solo. never. bad business.

I think what you're referring to is the Boomerang looper. It's a great unit if you're into looping phrases!
