I remember the first time this aired, and I only saw the back of Rose's head and for a split second I thought "Is it her?" but I didn't think so, but I didn't have enough time to wonder because when she turned round and Doomsday started playing I got up and started running around like a headless chicken. Hmm, good question. Maybe the gap in the parallel world was small at that point which only allowed her a tiny amount of time. The bigger the gap the more amount of time she can spend on the non-parallel earth.

She has the ability to travel between the universes of her home, the real one, and the new alternate one. the can jump every half hour but to other people it is months at a time (same clothes). so she comes home to see ther r 2 universes and one must be destroyed as it is not real (turn left universe). so she appears here and there but at this paticular point in the video, rose thinks, "ok ther is this universe and the other one. i wander what i should do next, but i still need the dr to save
theres something not quite right about that. she obviously disappeared back into her paralel earth using her dimension jumper, but when we see jackie and mickey use it, theres a big sort of blue light and a loud bang. so why did she just disappear? i no it wouldn;t have been a good effect if she had of jolted in the light, but stil.....
They control the dimension canon that lets them travel, so im guessing they control her without her having one of them dimension jumpers, but she might be able to to things that let them know she wants to go back, e.g her clicking her fingers.

(This comes from the same source that said the the finale is set in a post apocalyptic earth with daleks, and the set videos have proven that to be true, so this is probably true).
Apparently, Dalek Caan found Davros in his escape pod and together created a new army of Daleks. But instead of invading our Earth, they crossed over to the Parallel Earth so the Doctor cant interfere. So they invade. Her world collapses sending the Tylers, Mickey and the daleks back to our world
parallel Torchwood have been sneding Rose on brief 'trips' to our world to find the Doctor for help. This, coupled with the Dalek invasion and the hole they made, makes a hole so big it destroys the Void, and with it the other worlds. Most Parallel citizens are killed, but not the Tylers, Mickey, Daleks or Davros. They are not from that world, so when it collapses they are sent flying straight back to our world.
both of the first two episodes refer to home planets of a species being 'gone' or 'taken' and its people fleeing to earth for refuge and to reseed via humans? rose is somehow responsible , most likely her alternate earth was damaged or destroyed by the doctor's interference (season2), and now she wants to try to stop him from doing it to anyone else's world.
She disappeared kind of like the TARDIS does and I kind of heard the same noise it makes too. Could it be, that she still had a bit of the time vortex in her and she's figured out a way to travel through time and space and dimensions?
i don't think she was physically there -- i think it was a holographic projection like at the end of doomsday. time travel without a capsule is a killer, remember? :)

However, Rose has always held a special place in my heart. The best theory I've heard so far is that the parallel universe Rose is in is collapsing, explaining all the "lost" planets that have gone missing, and leaving hole for her to travel back to ours.

in rose's dimension the torchwood there is going very strong and when they stopped all droid facilities they found the void opening and so they make a gate to both sides, it isnt finished and the time limit on it is 3 hours at a time, it will be finished by like episode 17

POSSIBLE SPOILERS
(This comes from the same source that said the the finale is set in a post apocalyptic earth with daleks, and the set videos have proven that to be true, so this is probably true).
Apparently, Dalek Caan found Davros in his escape pod and together created a new army of Daleks. But instead of invading our Earth, they crossed over to the Parallel Earth so the Doctor cant interfere. So they invade. Her world collapses sending the Tylers, Mickey and the daleks back to our world

parallel Torchwood have been sneding Rose on brief 'trips' to our world to find the Doctor for help. This, coupled with the Dalek invasion and the hole they made, makes a hole so big it destroys the Void, and with it the other worlds. Most Parallel citizens are killed, but not the Tylers, Mickey, Daleks or Davros. They are not from that world, so when it collapses they are sent flying straight back to our world.

both of the first two episodes refer to home planets of a species being 'gone' or 'taken' and its people fleeing to earth for refuge and to reseed via humans? rose is somehow responsible , most likely her alternate earth was damaged or destroyed by the doctor's interference (season2), and now she wants to try to stop him from doing it to anyone else's world.

She disappeared kind of like the TARDIS does and I kind of heard the same noise it makes too. Could it be, that she still had a bit of the time vortex in her and she's figured out a way to travel through time and space and dimensions?

i don't think she was physically there -- i think it was a holographic projection like at the end of doomsday. time travel without a capsule is a killer, remember? :)

Oooh, what's with all the Donna hating? I think she's absolutely fantastic and I think I'm falling in love with her :3
However, Rose has always held a special place in my heart. The best theory I've heard so far is that the parallel universe Rose is in is collapsing, explaining all the "lost" planets that have gone missing, and leaving hole for her to travel back to ours.
I want Rose to come back full time, but I've heard Billie's only signed on for the three final episodes.

the reason she looks "miffed" is that donna fatty noble is talking as if she will use the tardis to travel to that bin at the same time as her mum will and rose knows that shes with the doctor its the way she said it

no, i don't think she realises donna's with the doctor - i think she showed up there expecting to find him, and is "miffed" because he's not there. i wish it were her instead of catherine tate!

in rose's dimension the torchwood there is going very strong and when they stopped all droid facilities they found the void opening and so they make a gate to both sides, it isnt finished and the time limit on it is 3 hours at a time, it will be finished by like episode 17

A company have started to produce Davros figurines for season 4 so I reckon that Dalek Caan or whichever one it was has gone to Davros and Davros has found a way to open the gateway between worlds.

Hmmm... possibly she has a way of temporarily coming back yeh.. she could be Mirror Torchwood. or, maybe the absorbing of the eye of the tardis has done more than give captain Jack harkness the ability to never die.

Perhaps she disappeared so quickly, because she can't stay too long in our world (for some reason or other) and is looking sad and a little annoyed because she, like donna has been keeping track of every disturbance on earth in hope of catching a glimpse of the Doctor.

well, I think it's because she's managed to get herself over to this world (albeit temporarily) and there's been alien activity. So, she thought she'd be able to find the Doctor, but now it's over and she missed it! So she's sad because she thinks she's missed her chance...
and she misses the Doctor of course!
