  • They're reuniting in Canada this summer!!!

  • The greatest Canadian band of all time.

  • What song is he singing beforehand? I heard it all the time from him live but not sure what it is, whether he made it up in another language or if he pulled it from somewhere. Love it "favourite son..... you sinned in the garden...."

  • @kurtiscollette

    dead can dance - rakim

  • @conmcnal Are you refferring to what he sings before he goes into Halcyon Days?

  • Greatest live performance ever witnessed by the whole of humanity.

  • Man I miss these guys

  • this is magic, thanks

  • I was lucky enough to see Jeff and the Tea Party many times. They were all great shows but outdoors at night these guys were just phenomenal....pure magic.

  • Great memories. My favourite band growing up. I'll never forget you guys!

  • Fuckn love that riff!!

  • Name is ; The Halcyon Days ..

  • Can anyone tell me what this song is called? I cant seem to find it...

  • The intro is a Dead Can Dance cover, and it leads into the Halcyon Days from the album Triptych

  • unglaublich gut der Typ!

  • thanks dude

  • what instrument is that

  • it's called oud...

  • Two guitars and a drums. So many bands today struggle to get the kind of earthy, rich sound and intensity with even five members.

  • Brilliant!!!!!!!!

  • This was by far always my favourite part of a Tea concert,....once, I think it was 04 here in Brisbane they even broke in Tools sober and then moved back into sister awake seamlessly. I almost stopped breathing it was that amazing.

I wish you guys would come back together, your Aussie fans miss you so so badly.

  • Tea Party aren't coming back but Jeff's new band The Armada is coming back to Brissie in less then a month (still covering some tea party stuff of course) playing the Hi-Fi on May 10th

  • Thank you so much for posting!!

  • I agree...this is my favourtie band ever also. They are at the pinnacle of everything that I listen to and enjoy. This looks like when they performed in Buffalo at Shea's....Is it????

  • My favorite band of all times, this song is so cool.

  • Good God almighty !

There´s no word that expresses this, this, this...

    damnit. Heaven-sent-unfuckingbelievable !!!

  • I LOVE that he does "Rakim" from Dead Can Dance.

  • I think this was buffalo ny,Sheas theatre to support the interzone mantras.Awsome show.

  • I can't believe they played rakim so beautifully.. and halcyon days too!damn damn damn.

  • Name of the song is the Halcion Days.

  • Does anyone know what show this came from, or the concert date?

  • WHAT IS THE NAME OF THIS SONG?

  • blah

  • jealous i am soooo of tea party. arg i wish but no :(

  • ah musical orgasm

  • <3 him. he's an angel ^^ hehe.

  • Shonie-

I know, I'm blown away too. Every time I've seen him live (including 2 solo gigs) he's had Gibsons, Rickenbackers, Takamines, and I've seen one green PRS... never a fender. That must be a knock off or something.

  • It's sad that they're not around any more. This was their best song, thanks for the memories.

  • I have never seen Jeff MArtin play a fender in my life.

  • Heh heh. Jeff plays a b-bender telecaster in The Majestic Song. There's a vid on here of TTP playing the song live, and you can see him pulling the b string sharp on the tele.

You're right though. JM is pretty much a Gibson guy. He seemed to stay away from them a bit in the later years though.

  • They do one heck of a Kashmir cover... I ahve seen them live close to a dozen times. And it does suck that they are not around anymore. they are a lot of fun to watch. They usually do the Kashmir cover in the middle of Sister Awake.

  • Which Kashmir song?

  • Kashmir IS the song.

  • Oh ok, I thought you were talking about the great band Kashmir

  • its zahira , the halcyon days intro live

  • What song is this?

  • its zahira , the halcyon days intro live

  • fucking amazing...you definitely r missing out if u haven't seen them live... i've only seen them live once in my entire life and it was my first and only concert i've ever went to hahahaha... it was the best experience ever... they r the best i love the tea party!!!! :( sad that they broke up.. wish they get back together...

  • I think it's a problem with the master of this concert, the recording don't have it either.

    Shame...

  • ohhhhhhhhhh how I miss them

  • oh god yes.

  • in defense of iestykelbel, the tea were good friends of my family and according to burrows and stewart they found out that he left the band on the news.. and martin then tried to move to a castle in england. I dont know the exact reasons why, but the way he left definatly could have been better.

  • Everyone of them was at fault...

It is the same with ANY argument like this

    End of story

  • you don´t know what the fuck you´re talking about, iestykelbel. you don´t know shit about what broke up the tea. whatever you think you know, or have read is BS.i was one of five people in the room when Jeff Martin told the story of what happened with the band to a norwegian reporter. i can tell you this, he has spared Stu and Burrows for a lot of embarassment not going public with the story. He probably will one day, tho. He´s even holding that interview back now, to spare the two

  • GODDAMN I LOVE THIS SONG...Hence the name. Bring back TP Im sick of being in mourning

  • These guys really need to get back together. I've honestly lost track of how many times I've seen them live at concert halls and outdoor festivals and they never once failed to deliver. They sound great on cd, but if you never seen them live, then you just haven't experienced the Tea Party.

  • Fuck Yeah! That is Awesome!

  • Zahena or zahira I think. I love this damn song. My favorite band ever.

  • thats how its done..seen them 3 times, always excellent

  • Awesome as usual !!!

  • Absolutely amazing.

  • It's a medley of sorts. The first half is "Rakim" by Dead Can Dance (do a search and you can find it), and the second half is "The Halcyon Days" from the album Triptych.

  • That is amazing!!!

  • I saw the Tea Party so many times. Arizonas in St. Catherines when it started to pour during Temptation - one of my all time favourites! They were the best live band to come around in 20 or 30 years, easily!

  • I saw the Tea Party live 3 times and this is true to form for them live, rockin great. This is one of the best live videos I have seen of them.

  • Props to Stuart Chatwood!!! You are the man!

  • That's the best thing i've seen on Youtube ever ever. What is this from?

  • Its the Halycon Days from TRIPtych, easily one of the worst albums, which is a testament to how awewsome the bad is

  • jesus, that's one of the best performances I've ever seen from them. WOW.

  • "INSANELY AWESOME..i say holy shit Tea party

  • If only the Tea Party were as well known as much of the mainstream music nowadays. Such beautiful, spiritual, and simply spelling binding music.

  • Awesome!!! Thanks for upload.
