actually celtic tiger is the history of Ireland, where as Feet of Flames was a story Michael Created. So these dances are like the potato famine, when Ireland seperated from britian (red coats) and when Irish culture came to the US and when all other cultures were exposed to the Irish. (Like the new world which shows how many other types of dances there are) and so on so forth u get the point...
@KiMmIDoOdLEz ITs not, it has nothing to do with the history of Ireland. Its pure entertainment and if you make it out to be historical then thats when Irish people get fed up.
@BobCassidy Actually yeah it was...Michael Flatley talked about it before he started touring with the show. So yeah Michael Flatley wanted to do the history of Ireland...1st act is they're earlier on history 2nd act history in America. (Since he's from both country's) So yeah it has all to do with the history of Ireland cuz that's what Michael Flatley was trying to do. And I wouldn't understand why they would get fed up...I'm mostly Irish and I'm not "fed up" with it....
@KiMmIDoOdLEz Michael Flatley is as far removed from Ireland as any other American that claims to be Irish. For christs sake, red coats during the famine, during the rising! Shooting priests! Come on, its pure entertainment and dont see it as anything else.
No, buddy, you are either Irish, or youre not. Theres no halfway mark.
@BobCassidy Oh and if you don't believe me you can read about it on Flatley's website under Celtic Tiger...I tried posting the link but it wouldn't let me :p
49 Years old and the guy has still got it!!! Irish Step Dancing looks like one of the most physically demanding things one can do. These guys and girls must be Olympic caliber athletes. Most people use this comment area to disperse criticism. I say this is another performance of perfection from the one, the only, Michael Flately. Keep dancing dawg, keep dancing!!!
@colemanocd It's not irish step dancing if your flaing your arms around. You have to have your arms straight down on your sides for it to be irish step dancing. I would know since I've been irish step dancing for 15 years.
This is the only dance sequence in Celtic Tiger that I like. Everything else was just painful to watch and utterly ridiculous.

This scene is so good. It somehow gives me the feeling that Celtic Tiger takes up the story, where Feet of Flames ended.
A wonderful show!

have you noticed that all of Flatley's Shows seem to take place in ancient times (only this one moves into newer worlds)

@KiMmIDoOdLEz Michael Flatley is an entertainer, not a historian.
