You cant just take out dreads. You have to cut your hair really short or shave most of your hair to get rid of them.

@sarahh10122 THIS IS SOOO WRONG! My dreads that I USED to have is syntetic and I just braided them in, no shave for that.

If you have real dreads you can comb them out (I've done it on a costumer!) but it takes time and patient so alot of people just shave them off. And the hair is in quite good condition after having real dreads.

I write this from own experience.

You know, for someone who has done SO MUCH to their hair, in most of the styles you hair appears to be in relatively great shape. Much better than those who don't color or stick to more "natural" colors. I love the creativity in the styles and the vibrant colors, I'd NEVER have the courage to be as daring with my hair.
