  • at the end all i could think of:

"omg get outta the water THEN start explaining" xD

  • 3:45 "and im still alive" imagine when he says that the shark comes and grab him down.

    LOL

  • I WOULD FEEL MUCH SAFER DIVING WITH THEM GREAT WHITES THAN A ORCA

  • EVERYBODY GOT TO 3:09 PMSL XD

  • They mostly come at night... mostly...

  • If a shark came at me, id scare it off with the amount of shit in my pants

  • @MrRichyREMIX you could also use the excrement coming out of your mouth as back up too !!

  • If I saw one of these i would be dead before it got to me by a heart attack

  • i dont care if theres only one person who gets killed by a G.W shark, i swear its gunna be me...

  • Good old BBC :) Their programmes and documentary's are always spot on and truthful. They dont mind quashing any stupid myths that films like jaws convey. They make the best and most respected nature programmes in the world. Long live David Attenborough!!

  • Thumbs Up if you imagine the bloke falling in the water

  • Why is it always necessary on a TV show about sharks to emphasise how deadly to people they can be? The story here seems to be 'lay off the great whites, save some of your anger and fear for bull sharks'

  • how come you're not afraid of something that you can't kill with fire?

  • i would shit my pants straight if i was there

  • @akumassj4 me too

  • im fed up with the stereo-type of the great white shark, bull sharks are much more dangerous than any other shark as the attacks on humans are more common with the species of shark, they make out it deliberate that a shark attacks a human, it not, sharks can confuse humans splashing around for an injured seal, they only bite and release, almost sampling when people claim to have been attacked, this is almost all ways the case, so please discovery get your facts right.

  • @EpicBlueSpikes The reasons for the attack are always conjecture. We never really know what the shark--or any animal--is thinking when it attacks a person.

  • @Nepthu sharks arn't stupid mindless killing machines, a human is to lean and if put in the water with a seal it is highly likely that the seal would be the prefered choice of any shark, as ive mentioned before, they are generally calm and observative creatures, they swim closely just to observe it doesn't mean they want to kill you, and when they bite a human its generally a sample bite, and quick grab and release, there never ripped to shreds.

  • @EpicBlueSpikes Here's the problem. You keep speaking in absolute terms, i.e. "Sharks always do this" or "Sharks always react like that." No two sharks are exactly alike. You are passing off general statements/observations as if there are never any exceptions.

Nature isn't as predictable as you are making it sound.

  • @Nepthu im not stating anything, i was merely commenting on basic shark behavior, i never grouped sharks together as a certain stereo-type, i was commenting about basic shark behavior, i didnt say they will react like this, or in this way, because in hindsight they probably won't, and nature IS unpredictable that im aware of.

  • was the shark bait a shark ?!?!

  • which series is this?

  • here in Belgium (Europe) we don't have adds :D

  • BTW, the narrator erroneously implies that White sharks bite people on account of some abstract curiosity- an exclusively mammalian affair. White sharks are "curious" if something is edible. It might bite into a boat because it is "curious" if sinking it will yield any food items. That is sadly more plausible than "mistaken identity" theory. Are the preceptive faculties are there, or not there. What a horribly injurious trait, would such a faulty apparatus be. I fancy.

  • that was a huge fish :):)

  • the great white is the boss of the ocean...scariest thing in there to me

  • Yer I am running Firefox but still get little box adds which I have to cancel from YT vids, maybe they aren't classed as true pop ups but still annoying and becoming more frequent . Anything that won't cancel or tells you you have to wait 20 seconds till your video starts I close immediately as a protest, well it makes me feel like the bastards aren't getting it all their way :-)

  • imagine if at 3:40 he just suddenly gets pulled underwater by a great white

  • most deadly shark would be bull shark, i read.

  • Just watch jaws. Then see whos boss.

  • Comment removed

  • to be honest if i saw a shark, however big or small, i think id just freeze and it would probably just move on!!!! Hopefully!!!

  • @Animalmadanna ...with one of your legs propably... :^(

  • @kostasviper I hope not!!! Note to self: carry harpoon with me when entering water

  • @Animalmadanna ...and full body armour.... and shark-repellant spray... and the Holy Bible... hehe :^)

  • Also, why are you lingering in the water? Fly into that boat!

  • When he was underwater talking to us, I was sooo expecting a massive great white to stealth attack him.

  • @loadquicker I Think His Not Human.

  • @loadquicker I Think His Non-Human To talk In The Water

  • I don't mind the ads

but if there always comes the same ad on so that you've to watch it xxxxx times that's really annoying

  • They're gonna need a bigger boat

  • not enough fat in humans

  • Comment removed

  • F5 BEAUTY ! tHANX

  • 3:16 that huge great white shoulda came from the side and much em up :]

  • f5 kills adds

  • @elegance9882 there was no song playing you dumb shit

  • i wish it would of ate him

  • Of course it's dangerous to dive with a white shark, they admitted that. The point is they bite out of curiosity not hunger or lust to kill.

  • wow he pushed the shark away lmao thats pretty dare devil reputation

  • 0:27 Holy shit that guy is Brave as fuck or Re-tarded as hell

  • @alisquin315 as we go through life, we realize: There's not really a difference between the two ;)

  • So we should be mostly scared of bull sharks?

  • Keep diving until one kills you? Is that the goal here? I don't get it.

  • the great white sharks arent mindless there millions of years old and have evolved so much there smarter then most ppl think and there not as vicious as everyone says

  • "I can't believe it! I swam with Jaws and im still her"-*crunch*

  • @Nickmuzi xD lol i was gonna say that D:

  • they're using a blue sharks head as a bait

  • Comment removed

  • @Carbon657 oh god i feel sick reading that. seriously dude dont say that shit because u really wont b when you actually do go terminal

  • @TheSammyg123 Thanks for alerting me to where that comment was so i could remove it, some little brats been on my account trying to stir up trouble for me. Im afraid of my own in-box now, thanks again.

  • @Carbon657 no problem. always happy to help :)

  • 0:28 OMFG I do this all the time...but with my dog

  • you guys got balls!!

  • "but its a stealth killer" so if we magically start dying you know who it was

  • lol at 0:27 that guy just smacks away the shark like it's nothing

  • 0:27 did that thing fucking roar???? that just made sharks +50% more scary.

  • if a great white swam by me,there would be bubbles coming from my snorkel and my bum

  • 3:10 hahahahha "That was a huuuugggeeee fish! FANTASTIC!" classic

  • @TheSammyg123 thats what she said

  • Fuck off with the adds will you ! soon as an add comes on I'm gone !

  • @bottomfeedar Relax, It isen't hard to press F5

  • @bottomfeedar Yo dude Press F5 Its gets rid of mostly all ads on youtube LET THE WORLD KNOW!!!!

  • @bottomfeedar If u don't want adds then start paying for YouTube, if u don't wanna pay then STFU and WATCH THE ADS!!!

  • @bigidiot1231 I'd expect that attitude from a bigidiot ,LOL .

That's right just except the ads, pretty soon that's all that will be on YT or you'll have to wait 10 minutes to watch a video don't be so easily led dude, people like you make it easy for the whole world to be turned into crap and greed to creep into ever aspect of our lives .

  • @bottomfeedar yeah man, no adds on the internet! when they start bumping us on YT we'll move on to the next site that has no adds!

  • @bottomfeedar

Yep, YouTube has sold out to the advertisers to cash themselves to the max. They clearly have little concern for the viewers.

It's getting ridiculous, nearly every second or thirs video there's an ad.

  • @OrthodoxDarwinist I'm having to cancel out pop ups repeatedly as well , it's a shame to see everything go down the same predicable path , greed and the mighty dollar take over. Locally you can't even pump petrol into your car they've installed some speaker system blurting out adds. What's next ? Giant neon signs in orbit .

  • @bottomfeedar

Download a pop-up blocker, helps so much.

  • @OrthodoxDarwinist Yes I 'm even a bit weary of those blockers they can be hiding unwanted stuff themselves .

  • @bottomfeedar

I think it comes free with Mozilla Firefox, which is a pretty trust-worthy company (well as "trustworthy" as any self-centred software company can be).

  • @OrthodoxDarwinist calm down. if they don't have ads, there won't BE any youtube

  • @anyankafan

Then howcome there was a YouTube that was returning record profits and flourishing even when there weren't ads in the actual videos?

    FAIL.

  • @OrthodoxDarwinist ever notice the maintenance, the HUGE amounts of new videos, the servers those videos would require, the new features, the special promotions, the innovations and new directions (not to mention legal requirements meaning Vevo and similar were needed to be created)...... that.... costs.... money. Lots of it. Not to mention the deserving creative minds needing salaries.

It's called capitalism. Deal with it.

  • @bottomfeedar Okay, The ads will be removed. but your gonna pay youtube.

Stop complaing, Without ads, Youtube has to close. Or are you willing to pay youtube?

  • @XxZdarkyZxX That's right douche just sit back and except any spin they dish up to you , wake up sunshine 'Adds pay for youtube ' LOL .

  • @bottomfeedar I'm a douche?. *Lololololoool" Cool story bro.

Stop complaining about adds you fool. I think youtube should make people like you to pay to view a video.

    #Bigtime Noob.

  • @XxZdarkyZxX Or you could just bend over and let You tube Roger you up the ass then makeing you watch the video of it after 30 adds before the start of course, sounds like you'd lap it up .LOL .

  • @bottomfeedar Ill take it, Because I'm happy I'm somewhat helping youtube, Unlike other gay shit's

like you. who go on youtube and want everything for free. I assume your just a little 13 yo' old brat.

Aye. Littie shit, If your man. I'd dare tell you to say it my face. I hope your face isn't that ugly LMAO!

  • @XxZdarkyZxX Oh and we can't have anything free in this day an age? Everything has to be about profit / Greed it's called fukin 'Youtube' dude .Years ago in cinemas a few adds at the start gradually turned into a twenty minute marathon before the feature. People stops going so they cut the adds to save the industry It's people like you that allow the machine to insidiously take over our lives ! Bet you think speed scameras are a good thing too, and all about road safety ah , wake up.

  • @bottomfeedar Your a noob. Without those adds youtube will die. Seem's you'd like that.

Since your one of those little facebook geek pricks.

  • @XxZdarkyZxX ' YOUR a noob " LOL say no more ....

  • @bottomfeedar 'YOUR a noob " LOL say no more... I should say that to your mum

  • @XxZdarkyZxX Sorry , did I call you a douche ? I meant to say double douche !!

  • @bottomfeedar LOLOOLOLOLOOL. You mad? Pussy fuck your mum in the vagina. Or does she even have on. Oh I forgot you ate it LMAO!

    Ahh don't cry. little kid

  • we all know theyre not like represented in Jaws but the fact is if a GW bites you its quite likely your in the shit

  • this is why we have shark attacks throwing food off the backside of a boat, don't you think if you fead them raw food how many more people have.that's probally the reason why they attack us because they think were going to feed them.

  • i remember when i was a kid my dad went diving in mexico and his friend kept pointing behind him and when he turned around there was a bull shark...which are more docile than they lead you to believe

  • the guy at 0:27 didn't have any balls the thing is that he didn't have any brains to think that the shark can rip the hand off

  • @jq2htf57 well he doesnt seem retarded, so i guess he does have balls you jealous cunt kthxbai

  • alot of people are afraid of sharks

shiieet im only afraid of small animals i cant see !

  • press F6 to skip adverts! spread this around youtube

  • I was watching something interesting on the discovery channel a few months ago. They had a shark in a tank, which they drugged to make it docile. They attached electrodes to it's head, and measured it's reaction to the smell of human blood, and the smell of seal blood.

The shark became very excited when it's smelled the seal blood. When it smelled the human blood, there was very little electrical activity.

Humans are certainly not the preferred food item of sharks.

  • @Robopencil Check out YT vid 'Swimming with Great Whites' For anyone who still sees these creatures through Jaws colored glasses , they are just doing what they do many humans think animals think like us and should behave accordingly . Animals are instinctively way smarter than Humans in most cases .

  • @Robopencil I saw it too and indeed, it was sooo interesting, and really showed we don't need to be so afraid of sharks, as long as we don't make them mad or they're not extremely hungry, normally they'll never hurt you :)

  • @Robopencil Yeah, they don't want to eat us. and they don't! They mistake us for fish most of the time or just bite you to 'satisfy their curiosity' thats why most people that get bitten end up back on shore. If a shark wanted to take you out it would do without giving you a little nibble. Only 5 people die a year from Sharks. 200 from Elephants.

  • @HxXFromFirstToLastXx

Actually, they do want to eat us when their metabolic need requires food. Or maybe you could find Lloyd Skinner? Your silly statistical anecdotes are irrelevant to White shark sociobiology, i.e., White sharks attack humans on account of predatory motives; elephants trample people on account of territorial motives. The fact the former is rare doesn't mean it is a case of "mistaken identity." Such an absurd theory isn't even subject to the scientific method. How silly.

  • @kmkfiction2 It's a known scientific fact, white sharks are very timid and shy animals! You might not believe it but it's true, do your research

My father is a marine biologist

  • Comment removed

  • @kmkfiction2 If you've been studying White sharks for over 20 years, and you think they're mindless killers then you've wasted a hell of a long time. It isn't a scienficic fact, it's a fact by media.

They're very intelligent creatures and are most definately not mindless killers... I'm astounded that you claim to have over 20 years of experience and study with the creatures and you've come up with something they've been proved not to be

  • @HxXFromFirstToLastXx

You imply understanding the White shark has anything to do with popular culture, JAWS or unfounded stereotypes because public perception is key to conservation. I just study their predatory behavior. So please. Away with your bee sting mortality rates. I want to see you swim around Dyer island for 90 straight days- once at dawn and once at dusk- and see if you are even still around in one piece.

  • @kmkfiction2 I really like how you deleted your post. Pathetic

  • @HxXFromFirstToLastXx

"So hot? My poor little sir." - Emerson

  • @HxXFromFirstToLastXx

How's this, Mr. Smarty Pants. Obviously you cannot refute the merits of my assertions. Perhaps you (or someone else) can find an "expert" and have them, er, jump in the pool and set the record straight.

    (enter JAWS music)

  • @kmkfiction2 Just be quiet you incompetent baboon

  • @HxXFromFirstToLastXx

Search "shark takes woman's leg" on youtube and there is direct evidence that completely disproves "mistaken identity" theory. The hungry, migrating White shark fed on the tertiary prey item in clear blue water. There are no other animals in the water. The shark was attracted by the commotion and ate her leg. That is their ecological niche. Your fuzzy, simplistic spin is better suited for children's books. White sharks will eat anything. Just ask Lloyd Skinner's family.

  • @kmkfiction2 Oh one Shark?

There are a number of a reasons for why a white would attack a person such as stress, health, feeling fear and identiy but believe me, we're not on their menu... if we were, Myself, my Father and many other people would have been eaten a long time ago... If you were to get in the water with a great white, relax and don't splash around, it would be hesitant to even approach you! Watch a film called Sharkwater, it explains a lot. I'm not having a go, I'm just saying

  • @HxXFromFirstToLastXx

You are too much. Ever heard of the law of parsimony? A White shark would attack and consume a limb or an entire person because it's hungry. Period. End of analysis. I mean, people- not sharks- attack other humans for the reasons you cite. A media-shaped misperception is not a condition precedent to seeing that a pelagic shark is, in many ways, the living example of a "mindless killer" given the scarcity of resources in the open ocean. It's the ecological niche.

  • @kmkfiction2 Just to point this out, if that shark who bit the womans leg wanted to decapitate her and 'eat her all up' it could have quite easily done so! This is nothing but a tickle for a shark. Have you ever seen a white attack its prey? The shark in that video isn't fast approaching or trying to be stealthy, it was just taking a nibble, which is why the bitch is still alive to this day

  • @HxXFromFirstToLastXx

Listen, doll face. You can't have it both ways. If White sharks actually did, as you previously asserted, attack humans on account of "mistaken identity"- then humans would be attacked in the same manner or predation strategy. Lo and behold, the White shark behaves in a very cautious (nonetheless deliberate) manner. It knows that there is no chance the seafaring primate can escape so there is no reason to expend energy in ambushing, much less speedily dispatching, us.

  • @Robopencil maybe, the shark is not hungry d tym dat d human blood was placed for test..:)

  • Wtf Did You See The Bait? It Was A Dead Shark :S

  • 0:29 these guy must have a shiz load of balls to even touch a great whites nose

  • i would of been crapping in my pants if that shark was that close to me

  • are these guys high.. no way id get in the water if its that dark and its shark territory.

  • look at the title, it says "....most deadly shark in the water?....." LOL

they take us for idiots or what, everyone knows sharks are aquatic animals.

    nice program anyway.

  • kmkfiction2 is dropping some straight facts. sharkfriend, although your respect for sharks is a good thing, you cite youtube clips to back your erroneous beliefs. The internet, and certainly youtube, is not a credible primary source for educating yourself.

  • did he just TOUCH the damn thing?!

  • What a nut. That guy could have easily lost his arm up to his elbow!

  • @triggert531 , nope, definatly not

  • I d'ont know if someone realize what the first guys do with his hand WTF d'ont try it again...

0:28 amazing touch if you check the shark want his hand so much... sorry 4 not proper english

  • @OoPwnStaRoO , the shark wasn`t agressive yet... great whites are only agressive at certain times, places, and then you have to make them agressive by teasing them by throwing blood in the water,...etc

  • That is also absurd.

Tell me, what happened to Mr. Martin in my hometown a few summers ago? Was there blood in the water? No.

What about Mr. Skinner off Fish Hoek, SA? He was attacked and eaten completely without warning, without provocation.

Stick to opining on Belgian Beers (I love La Chouffe), instead of a subject you obviously know nothing about.

  • this is ptobably why if its because a shark: search youtube:``Great White Shark: Uncaged`` they`re curious

and then: ``Steve Irwin Dives With The Great White Shark``, and see for your self he difference between when it was calm and then got agressive,

and then here: Great White Shark - Without a Cage

btw, if that guy ur talkin` about was a surfer, this prob happened:Huge Great White Shark Vrs Tiny Seal

    I like beer called ``Jupilier`` btw...it`s great

  • 1st, both victims were swimmers- not surfers. 2nd, sharks attracted to a free meal at dives are in a different, more relaxed state than predatory mode. 3rd, if there was nothing to fear about sharks, then there would be no cages at all. I've seen over 20 White sharks from a cage. They were curious in the sense that we are a known, tertiary prey item. Sharks don't have the cognitive faculties for abstract curiousity, now do they? I will check out that beer next time I buy Maredsous, et al. Cheers

  • @kmkfiction2 ,

ok, welll Im srry but I just dont really believe sharks are ``evil``... if I swam with them my self

  • Ok, sharks aren't "evil"...you don't think they have the capacity to feel empathy, do you?

After all, they eat their own young.

  • I swam with jaws xD

  • Sharks eat prey we are prey only an idiot would think different,

  • that is not scary

  • Once a shark,alwayz a shark...!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • I wouldnt mind swimming with a great white or even a tiger as long as I see them coming, they pretty placid in a controlled environment. However youd have to be retarded to go swimming with bull sharks. They are the assholes of the shark world and attack anything, any time. Whats worse the fuckers swim up the rivers.

  • its not deadly as a megalodon, megolodon is huge

  • but we dont exactly know if they are still alive

  • The squid are the ones to watch out for. arr!

  • what the fuck? they didn't even go down in a cage

  • i live in florida close to the beach and ive never encountered a shark. the day i do i will never go back to the beach though haha

  • 0:27 I'm so smart! i'll just put my hand in this sharks mouth...

  • @budbudding123456789

    Lmfao :D

  • @budbudding123456789 was I the only one waiting for that guy to get killed?

  • @SRNF lol

  • @budbudding123456789 i pet a shark in 2009

  • @budbudding123456789 eat shit

  • Sharks don't acquire a taste for human blood.

Don't listen to lame Hollywood movies and garbage like that. It s a highly unintelligent assumption that has caused the sharks near extinction.

The reason to why sometimes we get attacked is because we tend to look like seals to them when in the water, and sharks love seals. Now keep in mind even then that is rare.

  • tis true sharks think we taste disgusting, hence why the only real fatalities are due to blood loss, plus the only thing they have to explore with is their mouth, so rather then starving they have to check if the item is edible

  • Yes, Indeed.

  • @TheHellbat2009

I saw a reportage about shark and apparently they don't attack the surfer as they attack the seal.

When they see a seal they try to attack from behind but when they sea a surfer they start by reversing the board by the front and then goes on the human. That's pretty weird since we're not tasty in off for them...

But it's true it's rare.Statistically speaking, there's more chance to be killed by a flash of lightning than by a shark.

  • @ghostxflower

    Yes it is quite rare.

But all in all its not really the sharks intent in the first place. Were just simply not on there list for a food source.

    Thanks on commenting.

  • @TheHellbat2009

You're right, i just find that interesting to know

  • Comment removed

  • I dont know why But even so you will find that the most well supported information can be struck down with a single blow. Like a massive fort with a tiny fragment that if broken brings down the whole thing.

Science seems to be very accurate but go outside and observe these statistics you will find that some have been exaggerated beyond belief. Since us normal people percieve them to be the high entity of knowledge they can pretty much bend our minds to their will. 2+2=5 based on the ionic..

  • SAVE THE SHARKS <3

  • That's gutsy. He said at the beginning that sharks take bits to "satisfy their curiousit" then went down there with one. What if it was curious huh?

And how bloody close were they to it at the start, touching it's nose.

  • 0:15 and 0:14 thats wat she said

  • Not funny

  • try swimming with a great shark even if you stay still or acting not scared it still gonna eat you that beast onlyy 2 thing on its mind.. "Meat, FOOD!!!!!!!!!" LMAO

  • being that 1 person thats going to die in a great white attack this year is the scariest thing I could ever possibly imagine.

  • thats silly, so dont walk under coconut trees, that has alot more do do with human stupidity than being in the water vith a massive vicious murderous killing machine
