Boom, Boom,Boom, Boom, nature took its course! I would have 4 coyote hides and then save a few more deer lol! Nice vid, great footage of the lynx too!
Beautiful footage of both a lynx and the 4 coyotes dining upon the deer! From handling both species I'd have to say that compared to coyotes, wolves are laid back! When you're not at the top of the food chain you have to be constantly jittery and looking over your shoulder.
we have a cabin in central FL(Ocala)right on the boarder of the national forest. our
Am. Bulldog(he's 115lbs) has killed two coyotes on our property. he also killed a 40lb
bobcat(the bobcat actually scratched him up alot worse than anything either coyote did) but he bit into that cat so hard he broke ribs-OUCH !! in areas of known predators it's good to have a dog that can take care of you and itself.
awesome video....what state was this in? I saw dead deer alot in the woods when i was working for public works in illinois. And seen alot of coyotes running around my area.
wow, very cool video. I wouldn't change anything about it. all natural from the filming (without tripod lol) to nature taking it's course. I also learned something, i heard they get spooked by lights. guess not eh?
That had to have been a deer hoof kicked the fence!! that would have killed a dog running that rast into chainlink! it'd be hard ti do in one stroke with a metal bat! as for the lynx, when they're on the road they never wanna move. I've seen that several times. great filming of the yotes too!! look like big healthy ones with nice coats!
@trikxty awesome advice... a tripod. I NEVER would have thought of that... next time we see a lynx on the side of the road I will think of you, stop the truck, get out, grab the tripod from the back, then set it up..... maybe in front of the truck and start filming on the hopes that the lynx will be a good kitty and not run away. if you are referring to the coyote segment, seems pretty still to me.
@HELIYAMYMIKE430 - It really wouldn't be that hard. I'm not complaining about the quality, you just need to keep your damn hands still - or better yet, prop your elbows on the arm of the door in your truck next time. However, you don't seem to take very well to thoughtful suggestions... there are mini-tripods by the way. Since you own a truck, it wouldn't take anything for you to store it behind your seat/on top of the back seat and whip it out when you need it.
hard to beleive coyotes actually took her down. out here by our land the deers chasem em back and forth, even some does. i've seen them kill fawns but no mature deer yet.
This is really intersesting, I had a situation like this a few months back, I had found a deer carcas in my backyard. Mind telling me what state this was in?
Dam its like a Crime Scene. And your fence is evidence lol

@jamesinont they were spooked at first. they slowly made thier way back and started chow'n down. basically provided them with a nicely lit dinner.

Wow someone with a good quality camera for a change, but still can't hold the damn thing still. Buy a tripod for that good camera of yours, eh?

@HELIYAMYMIKE430 - why did the coyotes leave the carcass by the fence?
Amidat 1 year ago
with their heads together, and a shot gun, 2 with one shot. That's too close to your house, you've got to thin them out.
