he is drunk, i got to meet him after the show. he drinks to calm himself down before shows. but it's not a big deal, i think personally they sound amazing drunk or not. alot of artists drink and smoke (cigarettes) before shows to calm down and relax. it's not uncommon. but i still think they're all amazing

December 15th, 2003, Oklahoma City show at the Coca-Cola Bricktown event center. I got an autograph from tyson and chris. Tyson bragged about the beer he had before the show and how he had done it at the Tulsa show the week before as well.
