O.K, this video may be 4 years old, but I have to give you props because this is the ONLY video where I've seen Superman fight back; every other video I've seen he gets his ass handed to him.

Yeah, I know that but just saying between overall Superman's feats vs. Thor's over time and the fact that they faced each other in the crossover comic agreed by both DC and Marvel that Superman would beat Thor and did beat him. Despite the fact that Supes was toned down. Superman will still win.

Thor can move as fast as Superman (thor can move at least the speed of light) and Thor is easily as strong (Strength Level considered infinite) and heat vision is nothing. Thor has taken blasts from Odin without dying. He's shrug off a bit of Heat Vision. And even though he doesn't have the Odinforce, and his hammer is a weakness. It's pretty damn hard to break Mjolnir. And Thor doesn't need the odinforce to own Supes.
yeah but the speed area of thor isn't explored much. Superman has consistenly been shown going multiple times the speed of light and rivaling the flash in speed. Thor isn't a speedster, superman is. As for thor's strength sure he can tangle with the hulk, but superman can one hit KO the hulk. That means superman is stronger. Sure thor moved a snake that's as heavy as the earth but superman has moved planets that are much more massive than earth. Heat vision that's hotter than the sun? I doubt.
But Thor has used reflexes to drop people who can go faster than the speed of light. And Thor has lifted weights that are Incalcuable. The serpent wasn't as much as earth it was an incalcuable weight. Thor has killed Thing and Hulk with one arm before. Thor's physical strength is one of the highest in the universe. Anything he wants to he can pick up. And Thor has survived heats greater than the sun before. No matter how strong Superman is, he's still a mortal and Thor's a god.
I think Thor can dish out a lot more pain. He's sort of like the "glass canon" mage, although he's certainly not weak. But he's slow.. His hammer has all the speed, not Thor personally.
While Supes can speedblitze.
Now, if Thor had enough time to command the hammer to move against Supes on it's own, or move far enough away to nuke the battlefield, he's screwed.

@FGGWHELL Don't go quoting mythology, stick to comic books. Thor as a God to the vikings was radically different than the Marvel incarnation. As a Viking God, anyone can lift the hammer (it's made of iron by 2 dwarves), Thor can't fly, without his belt of strength and iron gloves he's as strong as any of the Aesir (Asgardians), and if he doesn't eat he'll starve. The comic version is totally beefed up compared to the actual God that people prayed to. (And he was pretty dumb.)

Current thor has the "odin power" right now. Odin recreated the universe with it once before. Superman doesn't stand a chance against the current Thor. Even regular Thor could beat superman simply by going into "warriors madness" mode which instantly makes him ten times stronger.
But he "just" lost the Odinpower to repair his hammer, and picked up a new weakness in the process. (Basically, he's bonded to his hammer now. If it breaks, he dies.)

@MKF30 Thor uses a third of his power in regular fights. Anything above that and he can break planets apart. Also he starts to use lightning alot more and his powers start to show alot, instead of just melee fighting. If they were both giving it all they had Thor would trump anything superman's got.

Iv read the Wizard poll, and according to Wizard Hulk the Thing and Thor are not in the same strngth class since the Savage hulks strength class has not been determined because he just gets stronger and stronger, he is Considerably weaker in the Ultimates Universe though, but I guess you are right, in the end its a matter of opinion.

Silver Age-Superman has no resistance towards magical attacks at all.
Post-Crisis/Current Continuity,Superman DOES HAVE a resistance towards magical attack,And Thor was fighting POST-CRISIS Superman.
I don't know man,I've only stated that current Superman CAN withstand magical attacks,and you still insist that he can't.

If you read carefully you'll notice that Superman starts blocking Hulk's punches... cause he was getting stronger... and the narrator says that if the fight continues the result is doubtful...
But, yes, I agree that Hulk would lose that fight...
And Hulk has already destroyed a dimension...ALONE!
When Super fought kal, the struggle betwn then shattered the space, not then...but their contact...

No.They hit each other so hard that:1) Superman and Kal-L actually switch into the past, present and future of each other's lives; 2) Elseworld versions of themselves actually manifested in time and space. (Superman Infinite Crisis TPB)

I would beg to differ.
Thor has never been able to move planets. He has never destroyed a solar system by sneezing. He can't reach light speeds, and I doubt he can bathe in the sun. Superman once held a black who in the palm of his hand. Thor is a little girl compared to Superman.

Superman may have a weakness to magic, however people seem to overexagerate it. Superman took three hits of lightning from Captain Marvel and took it. That being said, Superman could beat Thor hands down.

Oh please man, Superman is much stronger than thor or if at least moderately stronger, Superman's strength is Equal to the hulks or a little more thats why he beat hulk in Dc Vs marvel, also Superman is Invulnerable, Thor is'nt, and since Superman is also much faster, he'd make thor his Bitch anyday. yeah but in Marvel vs DC Storm beat Wonder Woman, which is practically impossible. Thor as magical powers, and is just as strong as Superman. Superman is vulnerable to magic and Thor's entire origin is magical in nature. Ergo Superman loses.

I agree, Superman is Vulnerable to magic, but I think Superman stronger than thor considering he beat Hulk, so for arguments sake lets just Say Lestat that Superman is Hulks Equal, then He's also Invulnerable, unlike Thor who can be beaten to a Pulp or destroyed as Hulk has done to him in the past, theres Just No stopping Supes, and If thor happens to lose hish ammer in Some way then Supes will make thor his Bitch.

I don't mean to be pushy but, oficially, Thor, Hulk, Hercules etc, are all listed as being in the same strenght level, which is the 100 ton class. So are Superman, Wonder Man, Captain Marvel and others so I really think that their strenght is equal. If Superman should win then he should win by other reasons, most likely his superspeed. As a cultural note I'll say that the Wizard magazine had already put Superman vs Thor and Thor won, but we all got our opinions

Iv read the Wizard poll, and according to Wizard Hulk the Thing and Thor are not in the same strngth class since the Savage hulks strength class has not been determined because he just gets stronger and stronger, he is Considerably weaker in the Ultimates Universe though, but I guess you are right, in the end its a matter of opinion.
